In this video I share my first impressions and hands on, about the all new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE - as an FYI, keep in mind that this year, Samsung created 2 models of this series, the REGULAR Samsung galaxy tab s9 FE and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. This video is a bit comprehensive because we go beyond the first impressions; we do an Unboxing of the galaxy tab s9 fe, we do a first impressions of the galaxy tab s9 fe, and hands on of the galaxy tab s9 fe. I did test some level of gaming, including games like PUBG Mobile, Asphalt 9. This midrange Android tablet is showing to be very capable, and I can't wait to share my full review of this bad boy as soon as it's ready to be up.

I played around with it today at a store and it feels great. It's really snappy, like I tried both tab s9 regular and FE and I didn't really feel much difference in performance just scrolling around and opening apps. I really feel like if you don't play that many games there is no reason to go for S9, unless, of course, you want OLED.

I got this today. The screen is very nice and sharp. The 90hz works smoothly once everything is loaded, but is a little jerky until then. The 2 speakers are rich and get impressively loud. The battery life is very good and it seems quite efficient. All that being said, I love to test out Modern Naval Warfare at maxed out settings to see how powerful it is. Although 90fps is allowed, the tablet rarely hits 60fps, and often stays in the 40s throughout the game. Darker scenes and graphically intense ones the fps is in the high 20s and low 30s. The tablet also gets pretty warm quickly. My Tab S6 beats that consistently, even with a 4 year old SD855 and stays cool the entire time. All that to say, IMO $449 is a bit steep for a Exynos 1380 chip. Oneplus pad is currently cheaper than that and includes the keyboard case and is a lot more powerful. This Tab S9 FE would be much better at $349 tops. Great detailed review as always sir.

I am using a Tab S7 FE and have been more than satisfied with this table. My work entirely consists of ebooks and take notes. Definitely, go for the S9FE
Here's hoping next year's FE line up (phones and tablets) is even better because I'm good with a Tab S6 Lite 2022.

Yesterday I recieved it. Excellent tab.. for regular use and gaming extra ordinary... thank god based on commend I felt horror for past 5 days...... Display look really cool like amoled ..... guys try it 😊 Seriously no heat feel based on rough use on yesterday full day

Samsung is not providing enough support for 5G on their new S9 tablets. The FE only shows the smaller 10.9 tablet as offering 5G support, and none of the S9 tablets are currently available with 5G support. You also don't get any color options. Tablets should be available with cellular support. Samsung is really dropping the ball here.

go for S9 FE + ( I got for 40000k (480$) exynos are way more optimized with Samsung than snapdragon as it heats with any device my personal opinion who used Samsung products from past 8 years mobiles and tablets like (TAB 10.1 , A8 AND S6 LITE) NOW S9 FE+ 8GB RAM AND 128GB. If you guys want battery, notes, and content go for it and long reliable too if only PERFORMANCE go for iPad or some xaiomi tablets(budget).

Pro Tip:- never buy samsung products ( phones/tabs) when it is newly launched.. wait for 6 months, or go for the previous year model.. u'll get crazy discounts ( especially in India).. Just bought a Tab S8 8/128 in 38k INR (457$) and Samsung S21 FE 5g 8/256gb S888 in 30k INR (361$)..
I think it is not right for every country. I bought the tab s9 at a cheaper price than the tab s8 with the discount.

I haven't looked for either the fe or the fe+. I'm curious about the prices, and wondering if it would be worth it for me to trade my 7fe in for the 9fe+. I'll have to take a close look at the entire lineup again, and possibly consider trading in my older tablets to be exclusively S9. Fortunately, I have time to think things over. :)
If you're trading in a S7 FE for either S9 FE model I'd strongly suggest going for the flagship S9 series because the trade-in amount for a S7fe is $300 towards a S9FE series but is $500 when trading in toward a S9. That additional trade-in value makes up most of the additional cost of the flagship models.
I recently traded in my S7fe toward a S9 (I wanted a more portable size) and it was only $80 more for the S9 12/256 than I would have paid for a S9 FE 8/256
Yes indeed! Great to have those options - Samsung is currently offering top dollar (trade in credit wise) for any Samsung tablet. Definitely take the time to check out all the deals they have available.

I have the S7FE and Tab S9 Plus. Should i upgrade my S7FE to S9FE? The trade in credit is $300, so literally getting a descent deal around $150-$200 to upgrade from the Base-Plus model.
I'd have to ask if you actually have a need for 2 tablets or if there's a second person using one? I don't really see the S9 FE as a real upgrade over the S7 FE unless you really want the smaller size. If that's the case maybe you should go for the S9 and get $500 trade in for your S7 FE.
@jerryberry2002 I bought the S7FE for my daughter, but my wife uses it 95% of the time. I don't mind getting the S9FE-S9FE+ if the upgrade made sense enough just to have the latest Fan Edition Tablet available. If it doesn't make sense, then the $500 credit will most likely go towards an S9 Ultra, but that would be a decision the lady and I will discuss. She always wanted the S9 Ultra, but she doesn't feel that trading in the S7FE for that is worth it? Should I just keep the S7FE

@@Bleek904 I guess it depends on if the S7fe is fulfilling everybody's needs. I probably wouldn't upgrade to S9fe unless you just want the newest version with the longer support, if you do, I get that. Be aware that the S9fe doesn't support video out for DEX use on a larger screen like the S7fe did. For me the $500 trade-in toward the flagship S9 series tabs makes more sense. Hope you like whatever decision you make!

If you are in the US, you'll get top dollar credit on your S7FE, and as you mentioned, would be able to upgrade for a $100+ before tax (depending on which one you go for) - my recommendation: go for it, not only for the upgraded RAM, longer support, but also for features like the water and dust resistance, and the higher refresh rate - it's pretty awesome

Hey man it's an awesome video but I really gotta know something. First can you check which type of storage does it have? Is it UFS 3.1?
Second thing would be if you have an MHL to HDMI adapter, can you see if it mirrors the screen on a TV? The Tab S6 Lite for example could mirror It's screen with a MHL to HDMI adapter despite having USB 2.0 as well.
Does Tab S9 FE series support HDMI? I heard many people said it does and it doesn't. If not should I get tab s7 fe instead. I'll used it around 2-3 years onwards. HDMI connection is quite necessary but also couldn't effort the flagship one.
It has DeX support but only for its display. You could use a keyboard and have the desktop experience. However it doesn't support external display. I understand external support for a phone because the phone screen is small. I think external display use is less important for a large screen tablet.

Whether you should get it depends on you needs. Support for the S7FE should be over in a couple of years, so that’s something to think about
Launch price is too expensive, the launch price for the 256gb fe+ is less than $100 cheaper than the 512gb s9 plus that i got from a Thanksgiving flash sale this past weekend in Canada (I got mine for less than $700usd) before trade in. After trade in i paid for about $350 usd for the 512gb s9 plus
So best to wait for black Friday and cyber Monday deals. To buy it then right away.

@deepakKr9035 the IP rating, 90hz screen, added ram and being more recent, more future proof with os updates would be the main upgrade to the s7fe but the processor is not one of them especially compared to the wifi version which uses the snapdragon 778g which the exynos chip used in the s9fe performs similarly with
It's still not as overpriced as S7 FE. On Samsung's own website, the base S7 FE is as expensive as the base S9 FE (both prices without sale/discount), without the IP rating, a marginally worst chipset, less RAM and storage, 60Hz screen, etc.

Tab S8; it's a powerful tablet, and even though it's the previous gen, it still has plenty of software support left, along with all flagship features

Buy the 6gb variant of s7 FE or s9 FE , I have seen a lot of review that the 4gb variant of tab s7 FE lags a lot even if u just run 2 apps at a time in multi tasking

Hey Ivan. I’m seeking a tablet to take watch lecture videos, read books, take notes, web surfing and some light gaming on Roblox. I can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab S9FE for $340 USD or Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 for $560 USD. I expect to keep this tablet around 3 years, will likely trade up after that. I don’t want it slowing down on me in that period of time. As I’ll be looking at the screen for long periods of time, I want to reduce eye strain/damage to eyesight. I need spill protection as I’m a klutz 😂. Which tablet do you recommend for me?
If your going to be using in darkness then s9 with its amoled screen else the fe version is better for your eyes in lighted room and about lasting long.... bro what do you expect? obviously the snapdragon 8 gen 2 is going to last 5 or 6 years even but i am pretty optimistic about exynos 1380(which is also in my phone that i am hoping will last me for atleast 3 years and if it will not be bad then 5 years)
as far as chips the sammy vs the snapdragon are about the same on the latest benchmark test so i wouldnt be that worried

S8 is a much more powerful tab than S9fe so its a good deal.
You had a steal deal for s8.. you just get monitor if you want one with Bluetooth keyboard and mouse you have pc like experience without any lags for browser and watching videos.

does it make sense to go from a tab S6 to a tab S9 FE or S9 flagship? With trade-in, its $270 for the fe and $550 for the flagship. Is the $280 difference worth it? Or should I just hold on to the S6 (for reference, I like having the best of best but i'm not a super user. I mostly play games and watch videos on my tablet. And for games I play more on xbox/pc now than i used to when i just had my tablet. Now it kinda makes sense to get the FE lol but should I just save the money and go for the FE?)

@@ljacobs357You are using the same processor,ram,motherboard in dex mode. Dex mode wouldn't enhance performance. Just think what you can achieve more except a different screen. An ipad works brilliantly while live midi play back. Film editing in ipad works like a pro. Nobody doubts gaming performance of ipads. These are some land marks where performance matters....watching movie/youtube ? You can do that in a $180 tab.

S9 fe is a terrible choice this year; the chip is actually weaker than s7 fe chip and most of the improvements don't Match the price. Just wait for the s8 plus to go on sale
Ikr Samsung is seriously killing themselves with all these BS tablets & midrange phones not being able to even hurt the competition in China. It's amazing. I don't know how the heck they stay afloat. There name recognition is only going to go so far these days.

I watched a really detailed video on this chip vs SD 778, and the exynos performs better over time, also has more advanced architecture (i forgot exactly what it was, something about capacitors?). You can search for it on yt it's an indian guy comparing the two. He also said it should have better battery life long term. Antutu and Geekbench scores would be in favour of exynos when tested over a long period of time, as the perforamnce of SD 778 is high in the beginning but slows down considerably over time.
I dont know this stuff for a fact, im just relaying what that guy said in his video. Im clearly not very well-versed in chipsets to be 100% certain. Take this as you will, but his video made me prefer the s9 fe over s7 fe, despite its drawbacks.
@@katinasoutherland7693 that's actually fair point. I would say tho the performance is negligible for the beefy price; if I don't have one, it's excellent, but if you do it's not a good upgrade as again s8 on sale is my recommendation
