Been using this for 8 months and I have a few things to say about the tablet: When playing Asphalt Legends Unite on it for a few months (I play quite a lot) then the device doesnt intensely heat up fast but on Eoblox, it shows the temperature high so I have to wait for a while for it to cool which doesnt take too much time. For schoolwork (as a student) I would give it a 10/10. No lag no problem of any kind. For Binge-watching TH-cam, there's not a problem either despite its a 10.9 inch screen. I can watch movies and cartoons in it without any issue either. Overall, I do think the Exynos 1380 does a fine job in operating the tablet but i do think its better with the Snapdragon Gen 7s 2nd Edition chipset. Would recommend for a person looking for great performance tablet in a not to expensive price. What do you think?
I'm watching this on my FE 9+. I still have the FE 7+, which will soon be traded in for a second FE 9+. Battery on the plus is amazing, and I find that I prefer it over the older model. I prefer the larger screen as well, so add me to the list of comments requesting a video on this tablet, please? :)
I am considering switching from ipad pro 2020 to Tab S9 FE and thanks for your honest review. Is it good for attending online courses and studying and taking notes and watching netflix? This will be my main usage.
I really wouldn't expect ipad pro 2020 to be worse than tab S9 FE. Everything should be better in the ipad pro. FE is more comparable to the regular ipads... maybe the older air ipads but my the pro model
When comparing the 128GB versions of the S6 and S9 FE, the price difference is not a huge jump to the S9 FE and gives you.. * Improved performance, Geekbench scores are 36% faster vs S6 Lite * IPS panel, 90 Hz refresh rate, slightly larger screen * Larger battery plus 45W fast charging * Improved selfie camera, important if you teleconference * Fingerprint sensor on the power button * Waterproof, peace of mind when using it near the pool, tub or sink
Hello, thank you for your review. I am a teacher and currently looking for a tablet to use for work. I need it to complete lesson plans, student conference, creating student videos, and other web based programs. I would like to use the larger 12.4 tablet. Would this be a good tablet for my use?
After having my s9 fe for a few months now I can say it's just not enough for me. Doing one thing at a time is ok but anything more and it's very slow. I'll be looking to trade in for something more powerful.
It's a greater tablet but it gets hot on the left bottom of the really worrying hot but 5 minutes of turned off to cool off it's fine again I've had mine since beginning of 2024 as my main gaming phone and personal tv. I loove my s9 fe 256 gb 8gbram
My table doesn't keep charge.. I have charged my tablet to 100 % but I didn't used it for half day . Still my charge had decreased to 75 without use .. Is such problem is faced by you?
Hey man, great review! I was looking for a tablet, specially one to use on the go. I'd mainly be to watch multimedia and take notes, but i'd like it to be capable enough to do some very basic video editing if necessary. We're talking just cutting and pasting clips to create videos rarely longer than 2 or 3 minutes, and adding a couple transitions at most. Is this one really powerfull enough? How would you rank it in comparation with other tablets in this price range, like the One Plus Tab 2, the Lenovo 11 pro or even the iPad10 in that regard? Thanks for the work!
"And whether you should consider this tablet in 2024" lol... It was released 2 months and a half before 2024, it's not even a year old!... How often do people get a new tablet??
It’s for people who don’t have this tablet yet. I think the idea is that of the product lasted 6 months, or should you wait for a new one, or maybe something new is out that is better at that price range. No one should make a video on a tech device about needing to be updated 1 year in.
Great review Ivan. I'm enjoying this tab however I'm really disappointed in the fact that every time I try watching anything in 4k/2160 it'll kick you out and automatically downgrade you to 480p. Am I doing something wrong or is it that this tab is incapable of doing so even though according to the specs it should. I'll also add that I have very good Wi-Fi speeds of to 500mgb at home. Your imput will be greatly appreciated. Enjoy your day

I have had my s9fe for two months now and find it a very good tablet for my needs i have the 6GB ram version but i only ever get around 3gb useable even when all applications are closed. I want to gift a tab to my sister she is a med student and will mostly do note taking, multiple screen. She will have loads of data, so should I go for s9fe or iPad 10 or Xiaomi pad 6
That’s two totally different OS’s and ecosystems. I have this S9FE and an iPad Air M2. If you’re into the Apple ecosystem, iPad. If your phone is a Samsung, then the S9 FE. It also depends on what apps you’ll be using. I can do WhatsApp and Utorrent on Android, but not the iPad. I prefer writing/notetaking on the iPad (Goodnotes feels better on it). I prefer reading Kindle books on the S9FE, but I like the Bible app better on iPad. I like getting my phone/FaceTime calls from my iPhone onto my iPad. I also like how everything integrates with my iPhone, iPad and Mac. You gotta look at what apps and use case works. Samsung includes the pen, but Apple is gonna charge you extra for the Apple Pencil. Good luck.
Can you explain and help me understand why you think we need a password manager especially a paid one for our Android devices? The safest and most secure ones are the ones that are run natively and no one uses passwords anymore we use pass keys
On Amazon Prime Day, the Tab S9 FE was available in India for ₹29999. There were Credit Card Offers that brought the price to ₹23000. If I also exchanged my Tab S6 Lite 2022 through third party apps (not Amazon), the effective price would have been ₹16000 for the S9FE. That is around 190 USD. It was a good offer but then I thought that does this Tab offer much over the S6 Lite that I already have? I did not go for the purchase. Though there was 90Hz display refresh rate and 2GB more RAM than the S6 Lite, but then that was it for me. For functionality there isn’t much change over what I can already do on the S6 Lite.
There s actually a middle ground: if you buy the version with 256GB storage, you also get the 8 GB RAM on the FE. I went for that option coz despite not being a power user, the longevity software wise is there and I d argue 8GB will be very useful in the next 2-3years even for normal users.
Great video as usual but.. I'd stick with my Tab S7FE ... I don't see any value to update to the 9FE. Maybe I'll get a tab S9+ when the time comes and the battery of S7FE kicks the bucket..
@@IvanKam11 Yeah, it's a shame not to be able to fully utilize Dex. So I consider the Tab 9+, the proper successor of the S7FE, both on capability and price range.
@Tokimetals Depends what you need to use it for. I need 12+ inches screen for my use, but note that anything over 11inces it's heavy, don't let anyone convince you otherwise. So if you don't need a large screen and you find a good deal on a Tab S8, go for it. It might even get another OS upgrade next year.
I have been using the base galaxy tab s7 for 4 years and it still very very good at doing every task I throw at it 99% of the time. I probably won't upgrade yet until there's a significant change in the OS or the chipset. Or until my device breaks. There's really no reason for me change or upgrade my device yet.
