I have the full set and they are great! Most of the current generation ratchets and screwdrivers (and maybe more) are just previous generation snap-on designs built on the same machines. The sockets are absolutely identical except for the logo/stamping.
They sure do seem like them. We used to get Pratt-Reed screwdrivers which were in fact absolutely the same as Snap-On, right down to the handle color. I still prefer Klein for use as screwdrivers and Stanley 100 Plus for beater/chisel/pry duty, but the Snap-On and those rebranded Snap-ons are excellent, for sure.
@@jefftovani5535 They're probably not as good (I replace mine every couple years, but as an IBEW electrician I use them a LOT more than most), but when they're in good shape I've never felt one that felt as good and secure as the old classic Klein cushion handle. Feel is important when slipping off could mean BOOM, haha!
I used them at work, they are very good, never had any problems, williams tools are very good in general!! Love thier ratchets!! Thanks don for supporting channel!!
I actually hate the new Snap On screwdrivers? I own on large flat blade and one T20 Torx? Both are nothing to be impressed with? My old Snap On hard orange handle Snap On screwdrivers are much better? Just like your new William's? How can you beat the price, $60 for USA quality? Great job, Jeff.
Yea the old snap on are great, lot of my subscibers love the older ones!! williams for $60 are really nice!! like yourself dave, whenever i get a chance to buy in usa tool i jump on it, thanks dave!!
They are not the same as Snap Off. They are better. The handles are more durable. (Williams owns Snap Off) We provide the tools at our shop. After 24 Snap-on, we switched to Williams for the next 40 boxes. 1/4 the cost, higher quality. Same warranty.
Hi beyond, you cant beat the price thats for sure!!! Im not much into buying snap on, only own couple of items!! Im on your side williams are fantastic!!! Thanks for your input, stay tuned!!
Williams is an old company. They used to supply tools to the railroads in the age of steam. Always quality oriented. (BTW. I work for a railroad company. I'm responsible for the 64 individual toolboxes and all of the various specialty shop tools.)
Williams does not own snap on. Snap on owns williams. Williams made wrenches, sockets, ratchets, and screwdrivers for snap on. Plus probably more. Williams Also produced tools for kobalt when they first came out.
