Cuz that would also mean that card was added as a played card or scuffed up from a nasty sleeve it was in. I think the first swap was to a resealed pack that was ready to go. I think they opened the original pack off camera, saw that there were no hits, and put it beck together real quick and swapped it back on camera. That way they can keep the first swapped pack resealed and ready with a dud for when they find one with a hit. If that makes sense..

whatnot doesn't really need to exist, if you wanna avoid 95% of the scams, 1. don't buy "sealed", 2. don't buy into "pull boxes", 3. "dollar starts" these can be good, but mostly just taking advantage of hype and fomo to get people to pay more for 1-3$ cards....
What's left is people who legit sell cards for a living, usually they own a TCG store etc so they have a lot of inventory and they just sell singles at market price. These people are decent human beings, they will sometimes throw the "I have to pay fees that's why it's more...." , you pay fees EVERYWHERE , that literally not an excuse to raise the price 15%. The only other thing is them trying to hide condition but it's no different than eBay hiding condition in their photos...
Saw him try to scam a girl on his live. He had 2 jungle blisters, one flareon one clefable. A girl asked for the more expensive of the 2 and he recommended clefable (even though he knew the blister was damaged) and didn’t tell her after she dropped $350 for it. Said after that he forgot to show it but the flareon isn’t for sale anymore

As a new seller on whatnot, and aspiring trader, these videos are incredible informative as a buyer, but also, extremely disheartening for an upcoming seller. Especially for those who have passion for their hobby or business. 😮💨

Its the same pack.. there's enough ppl here id assume at least 1 person can find the clues on the front of pack.

Scammer 100% I wouldn't even trust those that keep them on screen 100% because they can open/reseal. This cornball clearly swapped out the packs. The first still shot looks to have been opened and resealed to me.

It's a shame that Whatnot is like this, because it has the potential to really serve it's users well--if they would listen to them. Seems like an org that doesn't have any real UX researchers / human factors researchers employed in order to gather feedback to actually improve the experience. But that's just speculation 🤷

Haven't used that app in a minute though and probably never will again
