I've been streaming on Whatnot almost a year now started a little before it got popular. The Pokemon section is getting bad so many streamers and lots that don't know what they are doing or are just in it for the quick flip.
I have my community of regulars that watch my streams and other streamers I watch and all those People are Fantastic.
It's not everyone on Whatnot there are good Streamers and it's unfortunate these People give the rest of us a bad Reputation.
I agree 100% I stream Pokémon for about a year on Whatnot. Some of these streamers are ridiculous I have the same loyal group and pick up a few here or there. Half the problem is Whatnot promotes certain streamers and everyone else is on their own. When it’s the same group of 6 at the top of the page. They take a lot of the viewership that’s what’s frustrating to me

Everyone knows that the best way to show someone you don't care is for you AND your wife to go to their Discord, announce it to everyone and then start name-calling and picking fights 😂 Also, they think you're so dumb to disclose private information and illegally record a conversation... It's almost as if they don't actually know you 🤔 Surely a big fan of the channel would know how meticulous you are with that sort of stuff. They say someone being dumb is like when someone dies: they aren't aware and it's everyone around them who suffers.

I’ve used Whatnot for a couple of months and can confirm that several times, streamers will hold their audiences hostage. This guy was doing a stream once and he got on a phone call that took an hour and a half. Also, despite whatnot being and “auction” site, most Pokémon sellers do mystery bags, bounties, and pull boxes. I don’t hate the site, there’s a lot of good sellers, but whatnot has a lot of issues they need to fix.
I agree with the previous comment. Most streamers wait around until there’s enough people in the stream before they begin. Also, most users don’t use Whatnot as an auction. They don’t start auction until you have a agreed price. You chat with them and discuss the price and then starting price of the auction is that agreed upon price. It is good idea but many streamers are too afraid of the card not going for what they bought the card + fees.
I don't follow any of the drama with a lit of these idiots, but this was too hilarious. Also, I'm joining the discord if only to use the Jenny meme. Absolutely hilarious, and who gives a shit what you do for a laugh as part of your content? That's petty bullshit.
Whatnot has become a social media app…it’s no longer focused on being an eBay competitor, rather the next Twitter…drama ridden, people charging $140 for Paradigm Trigger. Another streamer by the name of Battles also recently was kicked off for harassing women.
I’ve been a seller on their for about 8 months and I personally can tell there’s shady business going on.

Streamers are constantly reporting one another for bogus stuff, we’ve been reported for “gambling” but was later removed after winning my appeal.
No one has said much about Limited Units either.
There’s a ton of shady sellers on Whatnot.
It’s like the back alley for Pokémon.

Look. Almost all the big streamers are headasses with a ego because they have a following. There is a few exceptions that are amazing, Hitz a cool cat for sure. A lot of people on the app chase clout and care little about the hobby or love of the community. It is what it is and can only do our best to do good by the community.
Ill give ya the benefit of the doubt man but this somewhat strikes me as just easy content to milk. Plenty of good streamers to showcase, and member of other apps and social media too. Would love to see that afterwords to get this bad taste out of everyone's mouth.
