    Thanks so much for watching this video!! 😉 We are curious though: have you heard from reflexology for labor induction BEFORE watching this video? Or was this all new to you?

      @Samantha Morris Hi there Samantha! Well, first and foremost, it helps you prepare your body for labor! And only if your body is prepared for labor, it could help you induce labor!
      At the clinic, we like to combine it with other tools, like acupuncture or nipple stimulation which is when it can be really powerful... Sometimes, we also use it to get contractions going, in case they are stalling during labor... It does not always work, but it DID work on many occasions... 😊

    Thank you so much for this video. I treated a 40 week pregnant patient today in my wellness clinic to promote labor. I provided an acupuncture treatment followed by a foot Tui Na massage. The patient explains that she had some contractions during the acupuncture session. To the Tui Na massage I incorporated the points you teach in this video. After about 10 minutes into the Tui Na massage/acupressure her water broke on the treatment table! We laughed, cried, hugged and laughed again. It was an amazing experience and she is a beautiful and happy mommy going into labor now. Thank you :)

      Oh, that's wonderful!! 😊
      Thanks a lot for this feedback!! We are very happy that our points helped you with the treatment! 👍👍
      Btw. we too apply Tui Na at the clinic! Almost on a daily basis! We love it! It is super effective!
      Another happy mommy going into labor! 😊😊

    Thank you so much for your informative videos. In 2019 I had a C section at 32 due to placenta Previa and Vasa Previa /. I had never laboured and was scared to attempt vbac with my second child recently. Your videos really helped me engage my baby head and go into spontaneous labour. At 40 weeks I woke up to contractions that fizzled out after 4 hours. I started doing the ball exercises, walking and my husband did reflexology and acupressure which restarted the contractions and I was 5cm dilated upon arriving at hospital. 3 hours later I was 10cm and baby was born after 1 hour of pushing. I ate dates, used exercise balls, sat in a squat position and got accupressure/reflexology regularly from 37 weeks onwards. Thank you for all the informative videos and your style of communicating info has been effective.

    I went into spontaneous labor! - I was 40 weeks pregnant and did everything to avoid the induction of labor. I was very overdue with my first child so this time I did everything to prepare my cervix, my body and my mind for the labor. When I was 39+4 my husband did the reflexology massages for me every evening, following your instructions. The night when I was 39+6, I went sleeping and dreaming about having contractions. I woke up and the dream came true! The next day I was cuddling my newborn 😊

    We love yalls videos. One day past due date and I’m trying all of these on my partners feet and legs. She drank a midwives brew yesterday and contracted all day after having it but contractions stopped at night. Not many today just busy baby inside. Thanks!

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there 😊
      first of all, KUDOS TO YOU that you are actively supporting your partner prepare for labor! We really respect that!! 👍👍👍
      Now, if your partner got some contractions from the brew (although they stopped), then one thing that has helped many women in similar situations to keep contractions going is nipple stimulation. We explain how it works in this video: th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html. However, please keep in mind that it needs to be applied for a longer period of time. Unfortunately, 15min of stimulation won't do much. Some women do it for 60 minutes and even repeat it throughout the day to see any success.
      The other thing that has worked very well for women at the clinic is reflexology. When a woman has gotten some contractions already, we normally only focus on the areas representing the pituitary gland and uterus. It could also be required to increase the duration of the treatment (i.e. doing it longer than for one minute per area). This can be really effective. In fact, at the clinic, the contractions often come back WHILE we work on these areas.
      Another tool that helped women go into labor in similar situations were exercises on a birthing ball. We explain how they work in this video: th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html
      And one last thing: RELAXATION!! The stress levels of women in the stage your partner is in, often go through the roof! Stress hormones can interfere with labor hormones and even block them. That is why relaxation is very important. Reflexology can help (focus on the nervous system - we explain how in this video). A back massage or meditation can help too. Whatever calms your partner...
      We really hope that these things will help you!!
      We wish you both good luck and all the best for the upcoming delivery! ❤️ And again, kudos to you for supporting your partner!! 😊

    I go for regular Thai footmassages and the last time I went was 1 month ago when I was 36 weeks. It brought on some contractions but disappeared. Am going back today in the hope that it will bring on contractions before my scheduled hospital visit to induce me with a balloon tmrw AM!

    How do you feel about massaging the reflexology with castor oil?

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi there 😘,
      we came across several cases of women who did that. We cannot really say if it helped them induce labor faster compared to women who did not use castor oil for reflexology... However, at least, we can say that none of them had any complications and that they all gave birth to perfectly healthy babies...
      Of course, this claim is not science-based at all... after all, it was just a handful of women we came across. But we hope that this statement is at least somewhat helpful for you... 😊
      We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

    Hi. Thank you for this amazing video. I'm i turned 39 weeks today but not sign of labor yet .would like to try nipple stimulation to induce my labor.how many minutes and how many times do I have to do it a day.thanks

      @CareAboutLittleOnes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi there! 😊
      Thanks SO MUCH for your lovely comment! We are very happy to hear that you like our video!! ❤️😘
      Regarding your question:
      It depends a bit on your body... At the clinic, we normally start preparing the body for labor in week 37 (with dates and acupressure). That's because the first step is to soften the cervix. And then once it is soft, it is easier to get contractions going with nipple stimulation. Moreover, getting contractions going with nipple stimulation is easier, if you had at least some contractions in the past already...
      As a result, when it comes to the required duration of nipple stimulation, it really depends on how "prepared" your body is right now. We have seen women go into labor after 2 minutes of nipple stimulation. Others achieved the same result only after 3 hours per day (poor nipples...).
      In general, the feedback that we receive is that doing this 3 times per day for at least half an hour (15min per breast) can be an effective approach to get contractions going. But again, if that's enough (or IF it works at all) very much depends on your body...
      Unfortunately, this is not a straightforward answer. 😩 But it's all we can tell you... We hope you still find this information helpful! 😊
      All the best for the upcoming delivery, for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️

      @CareAboutLittleOnes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi there! 😊
      Unfortunately, it is a bit too early to perform reflexology in week 31. We normally start with that in week 38, when we use it to prepare the body for labor. We would not do it at an earlier stage, particularly not the points which are linked to the uterus and pituitary gland...
      We hope this helps! 😊
      All the best for you and your baby and lots of love back from London to the Philippines! ❤️

    Mam & sir please tell me how to control blood pressure in pregnency

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there 😊,
      it depends a bit on the level of your blood pressure. At some point, your doctor can only prescribe your medications. And it's important that you take them! But ideally, it does not even come to that.
      Some things that you can do involve:
      - Exercising (!)
      - Decrease salt intake
      - Healthy diet (stay away from Pizza and Burgers and all the unhealthy stuff which include lots of unhealthy fats; ideally you also avoid processed foods)
      - No alcohol/smoking
      - Make sure you stay hydrated
      Also, please make sure that you regularly go to checkups!
      We really hope this helps!! 😊
      We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby! ❤️

      @@priyankav2187 Hi there! 😊
      It's a bit difficult for us to tell because we don't know any specifics about your pregnancy case. So, that's something only your doctor can tell. If they don't see any problems and if the blood pressure is not an issue in general either, then you can certainly have a VBAC if you get the approval of your doctor..
      Please note: many women successfully try VBAC every single day! 😊

      Hi again 😊
      to be very honest with you, there are very mixed opinions as to whether reflexology can be applied in case of a former miscarriage (and pregnancy-related complications in general). Actually, we discussed this matter with several doctors across three different countries. They all have very different views. However, we believe that that's because there are not lots of scientific studies out there which investigate the effects of reflexology and so, we believe that many of them are just being careful.
      The reality is, we know many women with former miscarriages who had reflexology treatments and there was never a problem. We also had clients at the clinic receiving reflexology under such circumstances and it wasn't a problem either.
      However, when you post videos online, you have to be a bit more careful And that's because we don't know the women who are watching our videos (and in particular, we don't know their pregnancy case). Because of that, we cannot make any recommendations which at least SOME doctors would not make. This is why, in our videos, we cannot recommend reflexology if you had a miscarriage unless your doctor (who knows your case) gives you their approval.
      We hope that you do understand our point and why we needed to include this information!
      All the best for you and your baby! ❤️❤️
