I’ll be 42 weeks tomorrow. I refuse an induction until 43 weeks which I likely won’t need. I have been researching like a crazy woman since 39 weeks and there is so much good information available to those who can move past all of the fear. Unless something is seriously wrong then it is always best to wait. Birth happens!
I have 8 kids, all were "overdue" . The doctors put pressure on me to induce the babies, but I declined. I had 8 natural births, no medication, no other intervention. Every time my placenta looked healthy and my babies were not overdue according to the nurses. With my last one I decided to give birth at home without a nurse or midwife ( couldn't get a midwife). Delivered overdue 13 days + a healthy 5kg boy, without tearing. Went to my doctor , he was shocked. How comes all my baby's are overdue, according to the doctors? They won't accept it. All kids were over 4kg. My body knows how und when to deliver. I'm blessed with my 9th pregnancy and look forward for a natural hombirth with a midwife .
Exactly this!! 🥰🥰 Thanks SO MUCH for sharing this with our community! It is incredible what women are capable of! That being said, you do have to have the guts to do that... You are a hero! 🥰
@animalsaroundus2 You have to keep yourself busy and don't put too much pressure on due dates. Slow down if your body tells you so and keep going if you feel like it. This pregnancy is much harder on me, and I'm again overdue. My husband and my midwife are giving me the best support. Don't listen to people with negative comments.
Thank you so much dear ones it's my first baby and have no complications for my baby he is healthy and that's of our everlasting God's Jesus Christ grace. God has shown a way by you people with blessed information overall. God bless you.

THANK YOU for addressing how inaccurate due dates are. That's my pet peeve with the Healthcare system, pressuring women who are "over due" to have their babies or be induced when those babies might only be 38 weeks along!
@@AfricanMoonlightTalesbyNaya Hi there! 😊 Please use the search function on our channel and look for "natural vs induced labor". In this video, we compare the difference and also talk about disadvantages...
Hi there 😊, thanks so much for your very lovely feedback!! 😘 We are very happy to hear that you find our content helpful!! 😊 We totally understand that you are panicking! 😊 Most women do when they are 40+ pregnant and are waiting for labor to start. However, we can assure you that we know LOTS of women who went past their due date and eventually went into labor spontaneously! Some earlier, some later! The best advice right now is to try to stay relaxed! Keep in mind that your body is made for this. So your body knows exactly what it is doing! The other thing is: please don't forget that BILLIONS of women have done this before you. If so many other women could do it, you can do it too!! We are sure, everything will be fine and you will soon hold your sweet little baby in your arms!! 🥰🥰 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Baby is finally here, had her through Caesarean section on the 8/07/23 cus she was diagnosed with fetal macrosomia weighing 4.5kg at birth at 40weeks 4days,recovery has been quite rough but having my healthy beautiful bundle of joy makes it all bearable❤️
Hi there 😊, as we always say: at the end of the day, all that matters is that a healthy mother holds a healthy baby in her arms!! So, we are happy to hear that baby is healthy! 🥰 By the way: CONGRATULATIONS and thanks so much for sharing the good news!! 🥰 We wish you a great recovery and ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, we totally understand your situation! 😊 In general, the process of a spontaneous start of labor depends on two major factors: your cervix and baby's position. Therefore, we show you lots of things that COULD help bring baby into a better position for labor (to put more pressure on the cervix) and to help your body prepare your cervix for labor. In this video (th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html) we explain several tools to induce labor. Moreover, birth ball exercises could help (th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html) On top of that, the right sitting position can also support the whole process (th-cam.com/video/K5uxfr0YJ_E/w-d-xo.html) We really hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
This video was such a relief to me. I'm currently 38 weeks and 1 day into pregnancy, but I've been having daily Braxton Hicks contractions every 2-6 hours along with pelvic pressure since 36 weeks and have had a lot of mucus discharge but no blood. When my OB checked me at 36.5 weeks, I was 1cm dilated and baby's head was already very low in my pelvis. At 37.5 weeks, I was 2cm dilated. Since that 36th week though, I've been feeling like I'm going to go into labor early at any minute, and it just left me with the increasing pressure that there is something wrong with my body. It's so reassuring to remember that I'm really only entering the period when labor is statistically likely NOW. Also looking back at my 11 week ultrasound, it looks like September 14th is a more realistic due date than the 17th. My baby will come when she is ready. 🙏 I'm also wondering though, which medications could potentially slow labor? Besides my prenatal vitamin, I'm also taking omeprazole daily for heartburn, extra magnesium oxide and calcium for leg cramps, and extra vitamin D3 because I have multiple sclerosis.
Hi there Katie 😊, it's great to hear that our video was a relief to you! 😊 Please be assured that we know many cases like yours: women who observe all those early signs of labor. Everything in their body tells them that they should go into labor any minute now - but it's not happening. By the way, here is one thing that we observe at the clinic: in many many such cases, the trigger that finally helps those women go into labor is a treatment that focuses on relaxation and stress relief. We do this with the help of acupuncture/reflexology. But we are sure that other things could help as well, if they help you relax. That said, if you are only week 38 and are already 2cm dilated, we would not worry at all. From our experience we can tell you that the probability for you to go into labor spontaneously is VERY high (assuming that baby is in a good position for labor). But as you said: your daughter will come when she is ready. By the way: the medications and vitamins that you mentioned should not affect your labor in any way. So, we would not worry about it... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
40th week, and I've had a bad head cold fir 2 weeks. I started antibiotics Monday and I can finally breathe through my nose. Still stuffy, but that cold was very stressful. My OB said she was worried the respiratory issue could cause a stillborn! I went to Labor &Delivery the next day because of my anxiety. I spent this next week focusing on relaxing and overcoming anxiety through The Lord, and I'm feeling much better. Baby boy is on his way, thank yall so very much for the great content!!
Hi there 😘, thanks a lot for sharing this with us! The concerns of your OB are interesting because we have a hard time finding decent studies on the effect of respiratory issues on pregnancies. So, it would be interesting to hear what studies her concerns are based on... Anyways: we are happy to hear that you are feeling better now! And we are sure that everything will be fine with your baby! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
I've had blocked sinuses, and a nasty cough where my ribs are sore, coughing up phelgm for weeks/ on and off for 7 months and I'm 9 now! Been on and off antibiotics, feel so rubbish but my doctors not concerned 😟
@@beckyhammond5869 Hi there Becky 😘, we totally understand that this is the last thing you need when you are pregnant and that you feel really rubbish. However, we can assure you that we know lots of women who were in similar situations. And they all gave birth to perfectly healthy babies... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤ Hope you get better soon!
Definitely agree about doctors/consultants putting more stress on you by saying they want to induce by a certain date. I'm 38 weeks and they want me to deliver before 40 weeks so now it's all I can think about to avoid induction.
Hi there 😘, unfortunately, many women go through what you are going through... It is very hard to make decisions under that kind of pressure.... In any case, we wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Today ,14th August. According to my LMP its 40 week 5 days now. The USG report of 10th week pregnancy provides EDD as 16th August. May Allah bless me with my baby soon. Its really Very stressful to go through an overdue pregnancy.
Hi there! 😊 Please note that the EDD based on an ultrasound done in or before week 12 is usually more reliable than the LMP approach. Therefore, you might not yet be overdue? 😊
37.5 weeks pregnant with 3rd baby having night time legs and foot cramps I'm watching many videos your channel is the best I tried your baby turn from breech to cephalic position and it worked last week my midwife tells me baby is in cephalic thanks for sharing such videos... But baby's head is still not fixed in the cervix
Hi there 😊, that's great to hear! Thanks so much for your lovely feedback! 🥰 As for baby's engagement: please remember that your baby has only just turned. It can take some time until baby engages. I'm 41 weeks pregnant and super tired at this point everything is hard and I can't do much since my body hurts. Thank you so much for this video I understand better.
Hi there 😊, we totally understand that you are tired and exhausted. Your pregnancy has been very long and at some point, you just want that baby out! But don't worry! Soon, you will meet your little baby!! 🥰 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Don't give up!! 👍 You have no idea how many women we know who were 40+ weeks pregnant, some of them not even a bit dilated. And then they went into labor from one to the next moment and held their baby in their arms within a matter of hours! 😁 Try to relax as good as you can! And trust that your body knows what it is doing! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
With my first one I was told we will do anything to get you at least to 36 weeks because everything seemed like I will give birth earlier… well I ended up induced in 42weeks. With my second I gave birth at home and with the previous experience I was more patient and let the nature do it’s thing and also gave birth at 42weeks. This time I am 40 weeks and although I sometimes really wish for it to just come I know I still have at least two weeks and I am taking everything easily. It is what it is. I guess I will never experience what it is to give birth at 37weeks to a small precious baby. I birth giant babies, strong and healthy and that’s okay too.
Hi there 😊, thanks so much for sharing this with us!! 😊👍 We know that many women panic when they reach their due date but nothing is happening. But the reality is that, on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Plus, it is also important to note that the EDD is only an estimate. No one can tell you for sure, when you actually conceived... Therefore, some babies will come earlier, others will come later, as your case shows us. And under normal circumstances, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that... The most important thing is that both, baby and mother are doing well after birth... So, it's great that you have the attitude that you have! 😊👍 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby no 3!! ❤️
I always go late too according to lmp. 42+2 with my 1st, 43+2 with my 2nd (induced at 43+1). I'm pregnant again & know that my cycle was 35 days long & know that I conceived 3 weeks past my lmp. Blessings on your birth!
@@yeetnama9094 awww i feel you! Hang it there!! The third birth was really easy and quick for me I don’t even remember being pregnant, my little one is one month old already
I’ve been at home since I was 26 weeks because my cervix was too short and there was some risk of prematurity 😫 All worries until I got to 37 weeks and still nothing! Now my ObGyn has said that we may have to induce this week at 38 weeks if the amniotic fluid doesn’t look too good. This baby is playing with me!
Thankyou so much dear ones, it's my first baby and have no complications for baby and me and have not used any folic acid or iron tablets during pregnancy cause am afraid of using such tablets I used to puke out when I consume any tablet , but our everlasting God Jesus Christ's grace baby and me were safe with good health conditions. And God has shown one way with blessed information with yours overall . Thankyou so much God bless you dear ones.

This video was very informative and reassuring! My second baby was due 5 days ago and I caught a flu day after due date which is very chesty now so I'm on antibiotics. Its winter where I live, flu and colds going around. Having a scan day after tomorrow to check on his health. I actually did have an early dating scan, but your video gives a lot of food for thought, i might have a scar on my cervix because with my first baby she was induced after two days of non progressing contractions where I stayed at 1cm, wasnt sleeping and back was in severe pain too and after the induction she went into a fetal heart distress and I haemorraged but they got her out quickly and she was ok, and then they found my big bleed to be coming from a cervical tear. The upcoming scan will give more peace of mind and in a way i am glad for the delay because I wouldnt have wanted to be in labour on the initial time i got sick and had fever nor risk him catching it.
Hi there 😘, poor you! As if being pregnant wasn't a burden enough for the body, it now also has to fight the flu... 😫 We hope that you feel better soon! We are happy to hear that you find our video informative and we hope that your scan will shed more light on what's going on in your body right now! As we always say: the most important thing is that - eventually - a healthy mother holds a healthy baby in her arms! This is what we wish you too! ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there! 😊 Thanks so much for your lovely feedback! We are happy that you find our video helpful! 😘 Fingers crossed that your labor will start very soon!! 😊 By the way: Yes, absolutely! It is what we call "an early sign of labor". It does not mean that labor will start anytime soon. However, it DOES mean that the body is preparing for labor! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, please note that in most pregnancies, week 37 is still too early to "make some serious progress". Most women we have met go through the most important chances in preparation for labor (such as cervical changes) only later, particularly week 39.... But rest assured: at some point, you WILL hold that baby in your arms! 😁
Will be 40 weeks in 2 days, I've had a few contractions but they were just false contractions. I'm bit anxious about what to expect when I go into actual labor and delivery it's my first pregnancy and I'm super excited and can't wait to meet the little one but I'm just worried things might take a turn for the worst especially seeing that I have no experience in this situation. Please help pray for me and that I may have a safe delivery when the time comes I'd truly appreciate it 🥲🙏✨
Hi there 😊, sending you lots of prayers! But listen: you don't need them! Always keep in mind that BILLIONS of other women have successfully done what you are about to do! If so many other women were able to do it, YOU can do it too!! So, please, just let go of your fears! Relax! Trust that your body knows what it is doing! And trust that your body WILL support you with the pain during labor! It's all good! 🥰 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
40 weeks 5 days running. Experiencing Braxton hicks construction for a few week back. I've seen bloody show yesterday. But there isn't any other symptoms like water rupture or actual contractions. PV findings are: both external and internal os are open , effacement is only 20% , station -2 . Really very tiring 😥. May Allah help me throughout this journey.
So sweet of you . Really very happy to see reply from you. Actually didn't expect at all. I am from Bangladesh. I will inform you my further progress, In sha allah
Hi there 😊, first of all, please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Everything within that range is considered "normal". So maybe, it's just too early for your body at this point... Moreover, there are many factors which play a role here, such as the position of your baby and the state of your cervix! That said, in general, several things could help induce labor: In this video (th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html) we explain several tools to prepare the cervix for labor and to induce labor. ❤️
Hi there 😊, thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us! That is indeed a big baby! 😊 I am surprised they haven't pressed for a C-section straight away... Anyways, we hope you both have recovered well! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
There is absolutely no way for doctors to diagnose you with cephalopelvic disproportion. You were not able to push your baby out due to laying on your back, likely having an epidural, and the environment. Sorry that they falsely told you this.
Omg yes…. That is so freaking stupid that they set a date to go into labor 😤 it so stressful and worrisome makes us women feel powerless and when it takes longer to go into labor it makes us think there’s something wrong with us.
Hi there Arely 😘, exactly!! It basically just puts pressure on women! And pressure is exactly what can prolong that whole "going into labor" process in the first place.... 🙁 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
I am 38 weeks and 1 day with my first child. I have had baby in a head down position, with its face towards my back since week 35. I believe it has been in an optimal position for a while! So since week 35 I have also had ongoing period cramps, pelvic pain (lightening pain and pressure), and last night I finally felt baby descend as the kicks are lower and my rib area feels softer (the uterus is now sitting more above my belly button then under my ribs) and the pelvic pain is more intense. I have not been examined for my cervix so I have no idea if I am at all dilated. No mucus plug as of yet and only Braxton hicks' contractions on and off (not really overly painful - just feel like period cramps). I am exercising every day by walking (curb walking, beach walking, stair walking gardening/bending) , doing breathing exercises, eating medjool dates to ripen the cervix, relaxing and resting and pressing on acupressure points. I am literally in a waiting game now! Waiting for the contractions and mucus plug and waters to break. I feel I am so close! Does it sound like it may be soon?
Hi there 😊, we totally understand your situation! We have seen cases like yours many times: women who seem more than ready to go into labor - yet nothing is happening (at least not in terms of labor). We would love to tell you WHY that's the case. However, the reality is that different women take different paths eventually. For example, in many of those cases, women go into labor in a matter of days (sometimes hours). In other cases, it takes another 1, 2 sometimes 3 weeks. Unfortunately, at this stage, scientists still don't know what actually triggers labor eventually. It is currently assumed that it is a hormone that the baby releases as soon as baby's lungs are ready. However, this does not help you, right? 😊 The only thing that DID work in our case for several women is this: an acupuncture treatment that focuses on relaxation. Normally, acupuncture cannot induce labor. However, in cases of women who seem more than ready to go into labor, but it's just not happening, we often observe that relaxation is the key to "let go". Unfortunately, we cannot tell you if this also applies to you too! We can only tell you the only thing that worked for SOME women in such cases. Whatever happens though: please keep this in mind: it's always better to experience everything you experience right now, instead of not observing/feeling anything for the longest time (not even that baby engages). Eventually, you will hold your baby in your arms! And that's all that matters! We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
This video has been really helpful as a first time mom. I currently 40 weeks give or take, my due date was yesterday and ive been having alot of pain and contractions but still no baby. I was a little worried cause the next day i wasnt having that much pain at all. But your video really helped. I will be sure to watch the others tysm
Hi there 😊, thanks so much for your lovely feedback!! 😘 We are very happy to hear that you find this video helpful! 😊 Hang in there! Oftentimes, this pre-labor phase is important for the baby to move into the best position for labor. 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, please note that in many cases, 39 weeks is still too "early" to go into labor. Many women go beyond their due date.... We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, we would not worry too much! Even when you are overdue: with baby number 5, your body has a lot of experience on how to handle pregnancies! Trust that it knows what it is doing! We are sure you will soon hold baby number 5 in your arms!! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your little ones!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, do you know if your baby is facing your front at this point? We are asking because severe back pain at this stage of your pregnancy CAN be a sign that your baby is facing your front and not your back. And when that's the case, we often observe a prolonged pre-labor phase in which the baby basically tries to find a better position... This does not necessarily have to apply to you though! It's just something we have observed often.... In any case, we wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Sooo true love this video. Lots of amazing information. Its so true when a doctor says oh if your not getitng the ball rolling by next appointment we will induce you it puts sooo muchh pressure on me
Hi there 😊, thanks so much for your lovely feedback! 😊❤️ Yes, unfortunately, this is something we observe all the time. We really wished that doctors would be more considerate about this.... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, unfortunately, there is absolutely no way to tell how long it is going to take. This is really different from woman to woman. On average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Everything within that range is considered "normal". However, there are a couple of things that could help with the contractions. Here are two videos about it: th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html (reflexology, acupressure and nipple stimulation) th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html (birth ball exercises) We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you, your wife and your baby!! ❤️
I’m struggling so much I’m 39 weeks and have been 4cm dilated for two weeks with inconsistent contractions and the baby is so big I just wish I could be done
Feeling frustrated, tired and angry. Had my first 11 years ago at 37+6 weeks precipitous labour in less than 2hrs and a healthy 2600g baby and still got a few sutures. Now am 40+2 no signs of baby coming but last 3 nights I have cramping and back ache almost all night but gone completely during the day. I feel my body has failed me, or the baby is lazy and I hate to blame it for that as I have been physically active and doing everything to induce labour nothing works. Am crying in anger and fear of a long labour, and delivering a huge baby 😢😢
Hi there 😊, poor you! We totally get your frustration at this point! 😊 Please keep in mind though that your last delivery was 11 years ago. In such cases, it is like your body has to "start all over"... But it's neither that your body fails you nor that your baby is lazy. Your baby WILL come when it's your time! So, worry no more! Try to relax and look forward to finally meeting your little baby! 🥰 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@@CareAboutLittleOnes thank you so much for your quick reply. Much love and appreciation to you 🤗 been binge watching all your Videos today and they have helped me relax a little bit plus reading comments from other mums and mums to be. I will come back with an update. God bless you both
I did everything that you said to induce labor from week 37. Baby was fully engaged no complications and proper position but cervix didn't open atall till the end of 41 week. Dr had to induce as it was a vbac and baby weighted 3.6kg but still cervix didn't open atall after inducing also no progress on cervix opening and disheartening had to go for a c-section again. 😔
Hi there 😘, unfortunately, there are SOME cases of women who will not dilate. This is a medical complication whose causes are not yet well known. However, in that case, nothing that you do can change anything about that. So, don't be too sad about it! You did not do anything wrong! It's just that in those cases when the cervix does not dilate, there is really no other way than a C-section.... We hope you recover well! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Due in 1 week and my cervix has not made any further progress in 2 weeks. I’ve been doing everything they say to do to help potentially get labor going and nothing. I’m starting to think it’s not even me at this point it’s just genetics working against me. I’m slow, in pain, and miserable at this point. My mom was overdue with her first so I wouldn’t be surprised if I got her genetics. 😐
Hi there 😊, we totally understand your situation! However, please do not worry just yet!! Statistically, many women go into labor AFTER their expected due date (and yes, there is some evidence that genetics can play a role here too). However, right now, you still have one more week to go. So no need to worry right there! Also, please note that we have seen LOTS of women go into labor although their cervix has not made any progress at all during the days/weeks leading up to their labor. That's okay! Your contractions will take care of your cervix once they start... Hang in there! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Thank you for this video...its a relief to know that i am not alone in this... 40+ weeks pregnant with my second baby, first one delivered at 38+ weeks on an induced labour because i had already broke water 36 hours ago and contractions were random and not dilating cervix Now started false contractions at 37 weeks and at 39 weeks i was in ER with contractions 4-5 mins apart after 5 hours of monitoring and no cervix dilation beyond 2cm they sent me home... Today I'm 40 weeks and 4 days and contractions have reduced to be random 20 mins or more apart... Still no sign of going into actual labor Baby is head down since 36-37 weeks Any suggestions?
Hi there 😊, well, at least it looks like SOMETHING is happening in your body! We did post many videos on our channel on how to support the process of labor induction, for example, this one: th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html However, please keep in mind that sometimes, when it's an up and down in terms of contractions, there can be good reasons for this. For example: it could be that your baby is trying to find a better position for labor. Here is another video that might help: s://th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html And of course, sitting in a good position can always support the process too: th-cam.com/video/K5uxfr0YJ_E/w-d-xo.html We hope this helps! 😊 ❤️ 👍 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
😂 2:07 I absolutely have the wrong due date because I guessed when my lmp was. I was not expecting to get pregnant and was not recording my cycle dates. I had a copper IUD!!! But this baby was destined to be here ❤
You would be surprised how many women have a similar story to tell! 😁 But we can assure you one thing: now that they have their little baby, they could not imagine a life without them.... So yes, your baby was definitely destined to be here! 🥰🥰
My sister's doctor tell her in the evening to drink castor oil in the warm milk and second day she tell her your baby can't come without operation because baby is high in the pelvis 39.6weeks pregnant. In addition she told her before you're 32 year old and and your pelvis bones cannot open for normal delivery. Is that myth true
Hi there 😘, honestly, we would tell your sister to see a different a doctor! First of all, a baby often engages AFTER labor has started. And only if baby does NOT engage AFTER labor has started, we can talk about a C-section (but only after having tried exercises and positions to help baby engage). Second, whether or not a baby fits through the pelvis has NOTHING to do with the age. The pelvis is ALWAYS open. It does not close in the first place... The only reason for a C-section are medical reasons that require one. So, again, we would tell her to see a different doctor! Thank you! 😘 We wish her ALL THE BEST for her and the baby!! ❤️
My wife is almost at 40th weeks but no pain yet. Doctor gave estimate delivery date 24th June and said if no pain until 21th June then we can see. maybe have to go with csec? Any suggestions please?
I remember being passed my do date. I was told my do date 12-27-08 that day my mucus plug felt out. nope i was induced 1-12-09 i was passed 40 weeks. Also i when into the hospital @ 5 am had my baby at 5:16 pm i stay 1 centimeter the whole time so emergency c section.
I've been watching all your videos regularly and love them all. Lots of love from India❤️. I'm 30 weeks currently and diagnosed with ICP ( obstetic choleostatis ) recently. Can I've normal delivery with this condition? Please reply
Hi there 😊, first of all, thanks SO MUCH for your lovely feedback - we are very happy to hear that you like our videos! 😊 Regarding your question: Under normal circumstances, you can certainly have a normal delivery. That said, it is very important that you are being monitored regularly. That's because ICP can have "unwanted" effects on the baby. So, please make sure you don't miss any appointments with your doctor! Every check makes sure that your baby is doing well in there! If you do that, nothing should stand between you and a normal delivery... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
What about being advanced maternal age? What is the evidence of having to deliver before 40 weeks? Is it safe to wait beyond 40 weeks at 41 years old if no signs of labor?
Hi there 😊, it's a good question that you are asking! So basically, science-wise, there is SOME evidence that the risk for the baby increases when you have a more advanced age and wait beyond 40 weeks. However, most likely, it is not that age DIRECTLY affects the risk for the baby. It is rather so that at a more advanced age, you are more likely to suffer from X and Y during your pregnancy. And it's THOSE things that could affect the baby. So, a good doctor will not just tell you: you are 41 years old. We HAVE to induce because of your age. A good doctor will tell you: Look, because of your "advanced" age, the baby is now exposed to the following risk because you have, I don't know, pre-eclampsia, diabetes etc. In other words, it really depends on your pregnancy case and if there are medical reasons if you need an induction or not. So, we would definitely talk with your doctor about this... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, as mentioned in this video, it depends a bit on the exact reason why your labor is not starting in the first place. So, we hope that this video helped you get at least some ideas. And of course, the videos that we mention in the description of this video are supposed to help you! That said, there are several things which have helped other women in similar situations to get contractions started. 1. Nipple stimulation (just keep in mind that it may not be done with a few minutes per day) 2. Reflexology (same as nipple stimulation: it may not be done with a few minutes per day only) 3. Acupuncture (acupuncture itself cannot induce labor; however, it can help in cases when a woman cannot go into labor because of high stress levels. So if you are really stressed, acupuncture could help) 4. Exercises on a birthing ball Of course, there is also Castor oil. However, personally, we always treat Castor oil as last resort simply because of the side effects. Also, you can never be sure if it is going to work... Still, it CAN be super effective for labor induction. Just discuss with your doctor first, if Castor oil is the right tool in your particular case... We talk more about these tools and also how to apply them in these 2 videos: th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html (reflexology, nipple stimulation, Castor oil) th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html (birth ball exercises) And then of course, there is also relaxation: sometimes, the start of labor takes longer because stress hormones interfere with labor hormones. This can be a particular problem if fear is a topic (f.e. when a woman is afraid of labor). Anger could also be a reason. In that case, it can help to work on those stress levels, f.e. with the help of a massage treatment, mediation, yoga, whatever relaxes you. OR if it is indeed anger or fear, a therapist might help (or just talking with a friend). We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
@@tbubble1037 That's GREAT to hear!! CONGRATULATIONS on your baby-boy from the 2 of us!!! 🥳🥳🥳 We hope both of you are doing well!! 😍 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! 😍 Enjoy every minute and try to find some rest too!! ❤
Hi there 😘, we can assure you: labor often starts when you least expect it! Hang in there! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
I'm 40+5 today.. at my dating scan, they said bubbas due date should be 5 days later but kept it as the original earlier date. So today is the day they have said it looked like. Not feeling much yet. I know his head was half way engaged 3 days ago but no contractions yet. I'm stressed about the hospital pushing interventions
Hi there 😘, unfortunately, it is a situation that many women find themselves in... It is so difficult to make a "good" decision in such a situation. And the pressure and stress does not help either... Have you tried things like birth ball exercises: th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html ? We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
@CareAboutLittleOnes I'm definitely feeling the pressure and stress. I'm stuck in a mental game of 'am i being selfish and harming baby by wanting my birth to be a certain way or does baby need this extra time and I need to just let him decide?'.. its hard. I took a moment to talk to my bubba today and got so emotional.. I want to give him the best chance and do what is right by him cause I definitely didn't get that from my mother. It's a lot mentally. I have been using a birth ball and went for a walk yesterday. Doing a lot of breathing today and trying to calm my mind with hypnobirthing meditation. I think I am holding onto a lot of anxiety surrounding this birth. I just want what's best for my baby
@@bethanyeadessfxmakeup8828 I can see how much you struggle with that decision! But listen: whatever your decision, never ever tell yourself that you were a bad mom for making it! Whether or not you will be a good mom is not related to that one decision. Being a good mom is a journey. It's about being there for your little one whenever he needs you and giving him the love he deserves. Along that journey, some of your decisions will be "bad", some will be good. You are only human! You are allowed to make mistakes too. Besides, we cannot know the future outcome of our decisions.... We are sure you will be a great mom - whatever you decision you make now... ❤
Hi there 😊, thanks so much for your lovely feedback!! 😘 We are very happy to hear that you find our content helpful!! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
I've been having Contractions now for almost 3 weeks. Mostly without pain, but last 5 days with pain. Every day got more intense. Most days was only at night at petty regular (every 10 to 30min). Then yesterday it was the most painful and all day long, mostly in intervals from 2 to 15 min. Over night they go away fully. I'm now awake again and no contractions yet. I read it is prodromal labor and prepares the body for the real labor. I just wonder when it's going to start because I've had painful contractions now for 5 days and yesterday's were already so strong I had to stop and breathe through a lot of them 😂 😅
Also my due date is according to my 6 week and 10 week scan, since according to last period, I should now be almost 43 weeks haha. But I conceived 3 weeks later than expected!
Also I did get a sore throat and sneezy nose 2 days ago that is now slowly going away... Maybe that is making my body wait to heal before going into labor
OMG! We are very sorry to hear this! 🙈🙈🙈 Yes, there is something which is called "prodromal labor" (we posted a video on this on our channel) and it is a very mean thing! Because it is basically contractions which lead to nothing. Do you know anything about baby's position? Is baby in a good position? Please also note that flu-like symptoms are OFTEN (not always) a sign that labor is very close... So, we really hope that you can soon go into true labor! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@@CareAboutLittleOnes thank! It's mean, but I don't mind it that much hahah. I am loosing my mucus plug for 3 to 4 days already, so I'm sure labor will come soon. Baby is head down and in good position already for weeks as well. I also feel a lot of pelvic pressure, almost as if something huge need to come out 😂 (literally has to haha)
Hi there 😊, unfortunately we don't! But that's just because there is basically no difference when it comes to preparing for a VBAC UNLESS the C-section that you had has caused any damages to your body that make it unable for you to do certain exercises... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hii,i got severe pain on right side when i wakeup in morning, then it stopped after 20 min, again started after 15-20 min but with left side pain, i kept walking at home itself, but now after 2-3 hours of fluctuation its very less , what would be the matter i am at 39 week
Hi there 😘, please understand that - as much as we would love to help you - but this is something you need to discuss with your midwife or doctor! We cannot make a diagnosis, particularly not in an online setting. We also don't know the details of your pregnancy case. So, we kindly ask you to consult with your OB/midwife! Thank you! 😘 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Going into my 38 weeks of pregnancy Im scared of going into labor but Im really tired of bieng pregnant. Im just waiting for my body to do its job hopfully its soon.
Hi there 😊, I can totally relate to that! At some point, you are just tired and exhausted and all you want is your body back. That said, there is really no need to be scared of going into labor: Keep in mind that BILLIONS of women have done this before you! If others can do it, YOU can do it too!! We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hello guys, you two are too lovely to hear from, i want some suggestions from you, I am 35+5 days this time, but from 33 weeks onward i am feeling pressure on my lesser pelvis, it's very painful for me to lay down on a side way, even if i take turn a degree it is so painful that i then prefer only to lay on my back which I know now from your video that's not a good position for this time. I'm in a situation now that i got scared whenever it's time for bed it takes me more than 5 minutes to get up with severe pain in my pelvis and lower abdominal region, what should I do
Hi there 😊, we are very sorry to hear that! We know how much discomfort those last few weeks can cause a pregnancy for some women... So, first of all: it is vey difficult to say WHY you experience this pain because there can be so many reasons: Your baby's position, the shape of your pelvis, the size of your baby or a combination of those. Based on the symptoms that you describe, it could also be a symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD). So, it's always a good idea to have a chat with your provider too so that they can make a proper diagnosis. But here is the good news: you CAN lie (and sleep) on your back too, as long as you make sure that your back is reclined (ideally 45 degrees, but even 35 degrees is possible). Because when you are in a reclined position, gravity is pulling your baby downwards as well. In other words: your baby's weight does not entirely rest on your vena cava... And then, if your doctor tells you that it is in fact pelvic pain, then there are also some exercises that could help. We explain them in this video: th-cam.com/video/SqInGwou5v0/w-d-xo.html We really hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there Justine 😘, oh! We are very sorry to hear that! But can we ask you: what that we say in this video makes you believe that you cannot have a VBAC? Whether or not you can have a VBAC depends on many factors, that we share in another video. You can find it here: th-cam.com/video/-re1_KCgKWI/w-d-xo.html Don't give up just yet!! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
🙈🙈🙈 We really wish you that your labor will soon progress!! 🥰 That said, it seems you are an absolute pro! Can anything really shock / surprise you after 4 babies? 😁 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️

38 weeks and 5 days ,still waiting for my labor. I can feel that my baby is way bigger than it is when she's only 36 weeks... From 24 cm fundal height in 36 weeks, now 29 cm in 38 weeks..
Hi there 😊, it's always reassuring to see (and feel) that your little one is growing in there.... 🥰 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hye ..I'm 37.0 weeks pregnant and today Im feeling light pain in lower back, pressure in lower abdomen and also severe pain in pelvic bone ...baby is very active ...and I also notice a small amount of jelly like off white discharge ...feel sudden tightening in belly ....light swelling on feet .....may be once in a day I feel the movement of baby into the pelvic .....are these the signs of close labour? Or how many time my need to come out ..... My english is not so good hope you understand me .... Thank you and I'm waiting for your reply ❤
Hi there 😊, your English is great actually! 😊 Let's put it this way: these CAN be signs of labor! However, unfortunately, it is just not possible to say how long it is gonna take until you go into labor. We have come across women who had these symptoms and then went into labor the next day. And then in other cases, they had to wait for another 2 weeks or so with the same symptoms... So, unfortunately, there is no clear answer to your question! In any case: we wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
My first baby come from c section Now I'm 38 weeks pregnant, My due date is 9 th august No labour pain till Doctor asked for c section Can I wait for normal delivery plz reply
Hi there 😊, it is very difficult for us to say, if you are going to need a C-section or not. This is something that only a doctor can do who is familiar with your case. However, we recorded a video to give you an overview when a you are a good candidate for VBAC and when not: th-cam.com/video/-re1_KCgKWI/w-d-xo.html We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, we totally understand your situation! We know LOTS of women in the exact same situation. Are there medical reasons why they recommend an induction?
I am 40 weeks 5 days pregnant, No pain yet , afi is 5.4 cm largest pocket is 1.8 cm, and placenta maturity is grade 3 with calcification.... doctors told me to induce.....can you please tell me what should i do? Should i wait for more days or go to hospital for induce!? Please do reply.
Hi there 😘, please understand that - as much as we would love to - but it is impossible for us to tell you what you should do in your situation. Not only are we legally not allowed to do that. Also, we don't know anything about your case. We can only tell you this: Normally, inductions are being done when there are medical reasons, for example, when the placenta can no longer sufficiently provide for the baby. A grade 3 placenta, for example, is not necessarily a problem for the baby because placentas do age over time. The only question is: does it have an effect on the baby, which is something they have to find out via tests, such as ultrasound exams. Therefore, we recommend that you first, talk with your doctor so that they can tell you in detail based on which arguments they propose an induction. And second, if you don't want an induction, we encourage you to get a second opinion by another doctor! It's always good to have a second opinion to see if they too would recommend an induction and if so, based on which reasons. Again, we are sorry that we cannot be a better help here. But this is what we would do.... We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
I so love your channel, Im a subbed on both of my devices in NYC im 7,5 pregnant currently, my question is if please respond: my baby girl loves to sit with her little ass up and head down since.... always. Every sonogram was the same, her head down and legs up, my belly is also on the lower side .is that normal? Thank you for all you informative videos! Love from NYC, USA ❤️🇱🇷
Hi there 😊, first of all, thanks SO MUCH for your lovely feedback! 😘😘 We are very happy to hear that your find our videos helpful! Regarding your question: A baby's position is defined by many different things, for example, by the position of your placenta, uterine fibroids (if there are any), your own position, and: your baby's preference 😊. And sometimes, if they have found a good position, it is not uncommon for them to stay in that position for a very long time... We are aware of several cases like yours and in none of those cases, there were any problems. All of them gave birth to perfectly healthy babies. So, if there would have been any reasons to be concerned, your doctor would have probably already told you. But as long as your baby is gaining weight and is active, there is normally no reason to be worried. Also, please note that some women tend to have a "lower hanging" belly throughout their pregnancy and not just when their baby drops. That too is normally nothing to worry about. Of course, if you ARE worried that something is wrong with your baby, it's always good to discuss it with your provider... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! And greeting to NYC (which we LOVE!!!) ❤️
@@marceldeac1876 Oh, did it?? That's so sad to hear! But we have to admit: the last time we were there was in 2007. So, we can imagine that things changed a lot these days.... Apparently not for the better... 😧😧😧
Hi there 😊, one cannot really say that it is "better" if it's taking longer when it comes to the weeks 39-42. It very much depends on the pregnancy case. We can only say that for the time BEFORE week 39. In other words: NORMALLY, what WOULD be great is if the baby stayed in there for a full 38 weeks period (i.e. if baby was not being born before week 39) because it gives the lungs more time to mature. An exception is - of course - when there are medical problems with the pregnancy. That said, of course, a baby can also be born earlier without suffering from any long-term problems. It really depends on the situation... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, please note that not all women go into labor before their due date. Every pregnancy is different. That said, lots of women complain about pelvic pain at this stage of a pregnancy. Baby's head normally presses against all kinds of ligaments and pelvic bones at this stage... 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😊, please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Therefore, it may still be too early for your body... It very much depends on your cervix and the position of your baby. That said, in general, several things could help induce labor: In this video (th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html) we explain several tools to prepare the cervix for labor and to induce labor. ❤️
Hi there 😘, please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. So, it may still be too early for your body. Also, it is important to note that when exactly you will go into labor is not only a matter of your cervix, but also of the position of your baby as well as your hormones, particularly, if you are going through a particularly stressful period... thank you for this😍I was really confused my due date was yesterday but till now I didn't heard anything ...I have one baby and this is the second baby but when I talked to dr he said I can wait until Monday of next week on 10th after telling me that I was like whathell is going on but now I am trying to relax and do some exercises I am feeling too much sleepy and tired I don't know why? but I hope that it will be fine
Hi there 😊, please note that it is totally normal to be tired at this stage of your pregnancy! 😊 At this point, the best thing you can do is try to relax as good as possible because that will also help you induce labor. Plus exercises of course -> so basically the things that you are already doing! 😊 Sitting the right way could also help (th-cam.com/video/K5uxfr0YJ_E/w-d-xo.html). Don't worry! Your body knows exactly what it is doing! At some point, you WILL go into labor! We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
I am 9th months pregnant. I dreamed alots of nightmares. Plus O am working woman. Its my first baby. I am very nervous and worried how I will manage my baby with my work. My baby is breech. Dont want to go for c.section but cant do any exercise. As I have a dj stent. A lots of things happening at a time. I am very worried
Hi there 😊, first of all, please don't be worried! There is no reason to be! Also, if you cannot do any exercises, then there is also something else that could help you turn your baby. First of all, try this: th-cam.com/video/L0Fb_HdBtog/w-d-xo.html Second, in this video (th-cam.com/video/e-kh6nxGkCk/w-d-xo.html) we show how to turn a baby with breech baby turning exercises and moxibustion. However, we also successfully turned babies with moxibustion alone. Simply go into a left side lying position (the one we explain in the first video) and then do moxibustion for 20-30 minutes. Once or twice per day... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hello, Love the way you guys explain, thank you for such informative videos. Need a suggestion please, I'm 31 weeks and every thing was very good so far. Had my growth scan yesterday it was found that there was a small TR(tricuspid regurgitation) in the babies heart hich was not found durig anamoly. Doctor say it is trivial and might be vanished when the baby matures much more...but no 100% assurance.. This has got me and my husband very much worried. Could you please give me your opinion on this.
Hi there 😊, we know such a diagnosis sounds terrible. However, you should know that fetal TR is actually quite common and not necessarily a reason to worry. It is true that SOMETIMES TR can cause problems later on. However, those cases are very rare. In most cases, it is going to disappear when the baby matures (just as your doctor told you). So at this point, please do not worry too much! Lots of fetuses have the same problem but eventually, they are all perfectly healthy. You can only tell if it is going to be a problem later on. Until then, stay positive! Everything is going to be okay! 😊 We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hellow! I love these videos they help a lot🙏 Am 36 weeks pregnant I've been having a backaches and menstruation pain also that gellish thing that has been coming out a lot! Does that mean am in labor?
Hi there 😊, first of all, thanks a lot for your feedback - we are very happy to hear that you find our videos helpful! 😘 As for your question: It's difficult to say for us if you are in labor or not: backache and menstruation-like pain can certainly mean that you are in labor because every woman experiences labor in a different way. It could be pre-labor, it could also be early labor. It could be "drop contractions" which last 2-3 days and make your baby drop in your pelvis. But it could also just be false alarm. So, what you could do is take a warm bath (20min tops) and see if the pain improves. If it does, it is probably not labor. At the same time, we would also talk with your midwife. Week 36 is still a bit early. They might tell you to stay in bed - depending on your pregnancy case. We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, actually, it is quite common for doctors to offer an induction at 41 weeks. But of course, it is totally up to you if you want one or not... We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi there 😘, please be aware that statistically, some women go into labor before their due date. Others go into labor after their due date. Therefore, at this point, there is not necessarily a reason to be worried as long as your baby is healthy and well! We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Plz can u tell that my sometimes my uterus contracts so hard that l can't walk and sit sometimes it feels like real contractions and it dissappear . And l feel so much pressure in my uterus. Is it normal or is my cervix dilation started.and uts my 37 weak
Hi there 😊, it is very difficult for us to tell you, if this is normal or not. We strongly advice you to see your provider! We can only tell you in general that this can be totally normal. But again, in such cases, when very strong contractions come and go, we would rather consult with a doctor to make sure everything is fine... We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
Hi,Thanks for all your videos! It's really helpful .Today I am in my 38 th week one day of my pragnancy .Yesterday went for a checkup.Cervix not yet opened baby in cephalic but not yet engaged also pelvic is not much wider.Bit worried when doctor said less chance for normal delivery 😢. Would like to know whether I can do labour induce exercise even baby is not engaged?or once engaged only I should do? Today started to do head engagement exercise by seeing your video Also could you help me to know in my case Normal delivery is really not possible? I hope that cervix get soft and pelvic get expand once after labour starts..please share your view
Hi there 😊, first of all, we would like to point out that nothing that you have mentioned in your message means that you cannot have a normal delivery. 😊 First, your contractions will make your cervix dilate. You don't need your cervix to dilate before labor starts. Second, some babies only engage very late in a pregnancy (some even do it after labor has started. And third, what exactly does your doctor mean by "your pelvis is not wide enough"? Did they measure it? How do they know that it is too narrow? So, if your doctor urges you to have a C-section based on those factors only and if they cannot come up with REAL medical reasons why you need one, we strongly recommend that you get a second opinion by another doctor!! That said, we would not do any labor induction exercises at this point, but focus on baby's engagement. Don't worry! You are "only" 38 weeks pregnant at this point! There is really no need to worry! 😊 We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
I m currently 38 weeks 4 day pregnant but my bpd is 9.4cm my doctr said you have to go in labour by the week 39 or otherwise they induce me on monday what to do? They said baby head is big enough to deliver vaginally if this gets more bigger than vaginal delivery is not possible
Hi there 😘, unfortunately, we can only recommend getting a second opinion by another doctor! A doctor needs to look into your pregnancy case in order to give you good advice on what you should do.... Thank you! We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
I'm really worried. Could you please help me out. I'm 38w4dys pregnant today and ultrasound showed that the baby weight is 3kg+ and has a single loop cord around the neck. When i was in my 33-34 weeks i had severe pains and so my doctor gave me some medicine and injection to avoid preterm delivery. Now as there are no signs of labour. My doctor is suggesting for artificially induced labour saying that baby weight might get increased in future and the loop might get more tight. But ultrasound shows that baby's head has not yet engaged though his position is head down but not engaged. What should i do????.. please help me out.
Hi there 😘, please understand that we are legally not allowed to make any recommendations as to what you should do in your situation - although we can very well understand what you are going through! We can only give you this general information, in the hopes that it will help you: In general, medical inductions are only done if there are medical reasons for them. The lack of engagement is (normally) not a medical reason for an induction (unless something super weird is going on with your baby or body) because a baby can (normally) also engage later on, even after labor has started - given that baby is head down. Also, we can assure you that we have come across many cases of women, whose baby had a single loop around the neck. And yet, they gave birth in natural deliveries. And the baby was perfectly healthy. Finally: of course, the baby's weight will be higher as the pregnancy progresses. It's weird that your doctors states the obvious. If your baby did not grow, that would be a problem. So, based on that, we can only recommend one thing: please get a second opinion by another doctor! Tell them your story and see what their opinion is (ideally after an ultrasound scan).... The problem is that 2 pregnancies are never the same. Therefore, what is good for one pregnant woman may not be good for yourself. Thus the recommendation to consult with another doctor. Thank you! We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@@CareAboutLittleOnes thankyou so much for the information. Today I'm in my 39w2days pregnancy and the latest ultrasound scan says the Baby's head is now engaged and he is completely fine...but the labour has not yet started. So I'm still waiting..
@@priyameena57 If your baby is engaged, we really would not worry too much! Statistically, many women go beyond their EDD. So, please don't worry too much! 😊

Hi there 😘, unfortunately, not all women go into labor before or on their due date. Maybe, it's just too early for you? Besides: just because you don't go into labor does not mean you need a C-section. There is also the option of an induction if there are medical reasons to have one... We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

After 42 weeks is dangerous for your baby, s/he can get sick or be still born please be careful

You have to keep yourself busy and don't put too much pressure on due dates.
Slow down if your body tells you so and keep going if you feel like it.

We totally understand that you are panicking! 😊 Most women do when they are 40+ pregnant and are waiting for labor to start.

The best advice right now is to try to stay relaxed! Keep in mind that your body is made for this. So your body knows exactly what it is doing!

i’ll be 40 weeks in two days, really trying to avoid a medical induction 😅
Hi there 😊,
we totally understand your situation! 😊
In general, the process of a spontaneous start of labor depends on two major factors: your cervix and baby's position.
Moreover, birth ball exercises could help (th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html)
On top of that, the right sitting position can also support the whole process (th-cam.com/video/K5uxfr0YJ_E/w-d-xo.html)
We really hope this helps! 😊

I'm also wondering though, which medications could potentially slow labor? Besides my prenatal vitamin, I'm also taking omeprazole daily for heartburn, extra magnesium oxide and calcium for leg cramps, and extra vitamin D3 because I have multiple sclerosis.
Hi there Katie 😊,
it's great to hear that our video was a relief to you! 😊
Please be assured that we know many cases like yours: women who observe all those early signs of labor.
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!!

Hi there 😊,
thanks so much for sharing this with us!! 😊👍
We know that many women panic when they reach their due date but nothing is happening.
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby no 3!! ❤️

The upcoming scan will give more peace of mind and in a way i am glad for the delay because I wouldnt have wanted to be in labour on the initial time i got sick and had fever nor risk him catching it.

first of all, please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Everything within that range is considered "normal". So maybe, it's just too early for your body at this point...
Moreover, there are many factors which play a role here, such as the position of your baby and the state of your cervix!

Hi there Arely 😘,

@@Rose_amethyst I know exactly what you mean! 🙈🙈🙈
Hi there 😊,
we totally understand your situation!
The only thing that DID work in our case for several women is this: an acupuncture treatment that focuses on relaxation.

39 weeks pregnant still no signs of labor 😢 my body is so exhausted
Hi there 😘,

TH-cam has lead me here. 5th baby and currently 2 days over due 😢
Hi there 😊,

We are sure you will soon hold baby number 5 in your arms!! 😊

I'm 40 weeks+4days today have been having severe back and pelvic pain since Friday my baby's head is already down since 38 weeks and still no labour
Hi there 😘,
do you know if your baby is facing your front at this point?

Yea, that and force patients into a c section.
My wife is over 40 weeks 4 days now and the Baby's weight is 3.94 kilograms, please how long will it take her to deliver. Thank you.
Hi there 😊,
unfortunately, there is absolutely no way to tell how long it is going to take. This is really different from woman to woman. On average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Everything within that range is considered "normal".
However, there are a couple of things that could help with the contractions. Here are two videos about it:
th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html (reflexology, acupressure and nipple stimulation)
th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html (birth ball exercises)
We hope this helps! 😊

I’m struggling so much I’m 39 weeks and have been 4cm dilated for two weeks with inconsistent contractions and the baby is so big I just wish I could be done
Hi there 😘,
we can totally understand you! At some point, it is just getting too much!
Do you know if baby is in a good position?
Feeling frustrated, tired and angry. Had my first 11 years ago at 37+6 weeks precipitous labour in less than 2hrs and a healthy 2600g baby and still got a few sutures. Now am 40+2 no signs of baby coming but last 3 nights I have cramping and back ache almost all night but gone completely during the day. I feel my body has failed me, or the baby is lazy and I hate to blame it for that as I have been physically active and doing everything to induce labour nothing works. Am crying in anger and fear of a long labour, and delivering a huge baby 😢😢
Hi there 😊,
poor you! We totally get your frustration at this point! 😊
Please keep in mind though that your last delivery was 11 years ago. In such cases, it is like your body has to "start all over"...
But it's neither that your body fails you nor that your baby is lazy. Your baby WILL come when it's your time!
So, worry no more! Try to relax and look forward to finally meeting your little baby! 🥰
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

Let my son take his time!!! I’m in no hurry for labor or a baby in the house. My man already acts like a baby
"My man already acts like a baby"
😂😂😂 Made our day! 😂😂😂
Hi there 😘,
unfortunately, there are SOME cases of women who will not dilate.
Hi there 😊,
we totally understand your situation!
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Thank you for this video...its a relief to know that i am not alone in this...
40+ weeks pregnant with my second baby, first one delivered at 38+ weeks on an induced labour because i had already broke water 36 hours ago and contractions were random and not dilating cervix
Now started false contractions at 37 weeks and at 39 weeks i was in ER with contractions 4-5 mins apart after 5 hours of monitoring and no cervix dilation beyond 2cm they sent me home...
Today I'm 40 weeks and 4 days and contractions have reduced to be random 20 mins or more apart...
Still no sign of going into actual labor
Baby is head down since 36-37 weeks
Any suggestions?
Hi there 😊,
well, at least it looks like SOMETHING is happening in your body!
We did post many videos on our channel on how to support the process of labor induction, for example, this one: th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html
However, please keep in mind that sometimes, when it's an up and down in terms of contractions, there can be good reasons for this. For example: it could be that your baby is trying to find a better position for labor.
Here is another video that might help: s://th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html
And of course, sitting in a good position can always support the process too: th-cam.com/video/K5uxfr0YJ_E/w-d-xo.html
We hope this helps! 😊 ❤️ 👍

Thank you very much I'll check out all these videos
Yes I am that 38-38 weeks one Yes I am not sure about its really late or no
😂 2:07 I absolutely have the wrong due date because I guessed when my lmp was.
Hi there 😘,
honestly, we would tell your sister to see a different a doctor!
Thank you! 😘
We wish her ALL THE BEST for her and the baby!! ❤️
I'm tired of waiting.....why is it taking so long 😢i'm 37 weeks 3 days

My wife is almost at 40th weeks but no pain yet. Doctor gave estimate delivery date 24th June and said if no pain until 21th June then we can see. maybe have to go with csec? Any suggestions please?
Hi there 😊,
have you already watched our videos on how to induce labor? There are lots of them on our channel! 😊
😬😬😬 We are sorry to hear it... Not how women expect their pregnancy to end....
We hope you recovered well! ❤️
I've been watching all your videos regularly and love them all. Lots of love from India❤️. I'm 30 weeks currently and diagnosed with ICP ( obstetic choleostatis ) recently. Can I've normal delivery with this condition? Please reply
Hi there 😊,
first of all, thanks SO MUCH for your lovely feedback - we are very happy to hear that you like our videos! 😊
Regarding your question:
Under normal circumstances, you can certainly have a normal delivery.
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
What about being advanced maternal age? What is the evidence of having to deliver before 40 weeks? Is it safe to wait beyond 40 weeks at 41 years old if no signs of labor?
Hi there 😊,
it's a good question that you are asking!
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
I was due 25th Feb and today it's 2nd and so far nothing...
Hi there 😊,
as mentioned in this video, it depends a bit on the exact reason why your labor is not starting in the first place. So, we hope that this video helped you get at least some ideas. And of course, the videos that we mention in the description of this video are supposed to help you!
That said, there are several things which have helped other women in similar situations to get contractions started.
1. Nipple stimulation (just keep in mind that it may not be done with a few minutes per day)
2. Reflexology (same as nipple stimulation: it may not be done with a few minutes per day only)
3. Acupuncture (acupuncture itself cannot induce labor; however, it can help in cases when a woman cannot go into labor because of high stress levels. So if you are really stressed, acupuncture could help)
4. Exercises on a birthing ball
Of course, there is also Castor oil. However, personally, we always treat Castor oil as last resort simply because of the side effects. Also, you can never be sure if it is going to work... Still, it CAN be super effective for labor induction. Just discuss with your doctor first, if Castor oil is the right tool in your particular case...
We talk more about these tools and also how to apply them in these 2 videos: th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html (reflexology, nipple stimulation, Castor oil)
th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html (birth ball exercises)
And then of course, there is also relaxation: sometimes, the start of labor takes longer because stress hormones interfere with labor hormones.
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
Officially 40 weeks. Baby is due today. Nothing yet.
Hi there 😊,
first of all, please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Everything within that range is considered "normal". So maybe, it's just too early for your body at this point...
Moreover, there are many factors which play a role here, such as the position of your baby and the state of your cervix!
That said, in general, several things could help induce labor:
In this video (th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html) we explain several tools to prepare the cervix for labor and to induce labor.
Moreover, birth ball exercises could help (th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html)
On top of that, the right sitting position can also support the whole process (th-cam.com/video/K5uxfr0YJ_E/w-d-xo.html)
We really hope this helps! 😊

Hi there 😘,
unfortunately, it is a situation that many women find themselves in...

I just wonder when it's going to start because I've had painful contractions now for 5 days and yesterday's were already so strong I had to stop and breathe through a lot of them 😂 😅
Today is my due date - 2nd may and 40 weeks 😊
Also my due date is according to my 6 week and 10 week scan, since according to last period, I should now be almost 43 weeks haha. But I conceived 3 weeks later than expected!
Also I did get a sore throat and sneezy nose 2 days ago that is now slowly going away... Maybe that is making my body wait to heal before going into labor
OMG! We are very sorry to hear this! 🙈🙈🙈
Yes, there is something which is called "prodromal labor" (we posted a video on this on our channel) and it is a very mean thing! Because it is basically contractions which lead to nothing.
Do you know anything about baby's position? Is baby in a good position?
Please also note that flu-like symptoms are OFTEN (not always) a sign that labor is very close...
So, we really hope that you can soon go into true labor!

I'm in a situation now that i got scared whenever it's time for bed it takes me more than 5 minutes to get up with severe pain in my pelvis and lower abdominal region, what should I do
Hi there 😊,
we are very sorry to hear that!
We explain them in this video: th-cam.com/video/SqInGwou5v0/w-d-xo.html
We really hope this helps! 😊

Let's put it this way: these CAN be signs of labor! However, unfortunately, it is just not possible to say how long it is gonna take until you go into labor. I’m depressed I’m getting induced tomorrow at 39 weeks bc of my age 🤦🏼♀️ and I wanted to do unmediated with my last baby but now I have my doubts
Hi there 😘,
we totally understand your situation!
Hi there 😘,
please understand that - as much as we would love to - but it is impossible for us to tell you what you should do in your situation.
Not only are we legally not allowed to do that. Also, we don't know anything about your case.
We can only tell you this:
Normally, inductions are being done when there are medical reasons, for example, when the placenta can no longer sufficiently provide for the baby.
I so love your channel, Im a subbed on both of my devices in NYC
im 7,5 pregnant currently, my question is if please respond: my baby girl loves to sit with her little ass up and head down since.... always. Every sonogram was the same, her head down and legs up, my belly is also on the lower side .is that normal?
Thank you for all you informative videos!
Love from NYC, USA ❤️🇱🇷
Hi there 😊,
first of all, thanks SO MUCH for your lovely feedback! 😘😘 We are very happy to hear that your find our videos helpful!
Regarding your question:
A baby's position is defined by many different things, for example, by the position of your placenta, uterine fibroids (if there are any), your own position, and: your baby's preference 😊.
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! And greeting to NYC (which we LOVE!!!) ❤️

@@marceldeac1876 Oh, did it?? That's so sad to hear! But we have to admit: the last time we were there was in 2007. So, we can imagine that things changed a lot these days....
Apparently not for the better... 😧😧😧
Is taking longer is better..? What is the difference between 38 week born bby and 42 week born baby
Hi there 😊,
one cannot really say that it is "better" if it's taking longer when it comes to the weeks 39-42.
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
I am 39 week 2 days no sign of labour my due date is 16th but no pains are coming but i feel so much pain in pelvic and also in lower abdomen.
Hi there 😊,
please note that not all women go into labor before their due date. Every pregnancy is different.
That said, lots of women complain about pelvic pain at this stage of a pregnancy. Baby's head normally presses against all kinds of ligaments and pelvic bones at this stage... 😊
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
@CareAboutLittleOnes thank you so much
I'm 40 weeks and 4 days pregnant and no sign of labor yet
Hi there 😊,
please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Therefore, it may still be too early for your body... It very much depends on your cervix and the position of your baby.
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
I have tried everything, castor oil, excercise and everything mentioned on the internet. Sigh. Hope so I go into labour soon.
Hi there 😘,
how far along are you in your pregnancy?
39w+ 6d… this is my third pregnancy and they’ve told me I’m 3.5cm and 70% effaced and still nothing happening
Hi there 😘,
please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. So, it may still be too early for your body.
Also, it is important to note that when exactly you will go into labor is not only a matter of your cervix, but also of the position of your baby as well as your hormones, particularly, if you are going through a particularly stressful period...
That said, in general, several things could help induce labor:
In this video (th-cam.com/video/8rehbupwhzY/w-d-xo.html) we explain several tools to induce labor.
Moreover, birth ball exercises could help (th-cam.com/video/UgrbOc4cebY/w-d-xo.html)

That said, we would not worry too much! Your body is clearly preparing for labor. Moreover, it is your third baby. In such cases, there is normally no reason to worry that you don't go into labor...
We really hope this helps! 😊

thank you for this😍I was really confused my due date was yesterday but till now I didn't heard anything ...I have one baby
and this is the second baby but when I talked to dr he said I can wait until Monday of next week on 10th
after telling me that I was like whathell is going on but now
I am trying to relax
and do some exercises
I am feeling too much sleepy and tired I don't know why?
but I hope that it will be fine
Hi there 😊,
please note that it is totally normal to be tired at this stage of your pregnancy! 😊
At this point, the best thing you can do is try to relax as good as possible because that will also help you induce labor. Plus exercises of course -> so basically the things that you are already doing! 😊
Sitting the right way could also help (th-cam.com/video/K5uxfr0YJ_E/w-d-xo.html).
Hi there 😊,
first of all, please don't be worried! There is no reason to be!
Also, if you cannot do any exercises, then there is also something else that could help you turn your baby.
First of all, try this: th-cam.com/video/L0Fb_HdBtog/w-d-xo.html
Second, in this video (th-cam.com/video/e-kh6nxGkCk/w-d-xo.html) we show how to turn a baby with breech baby turning exercises and moxibustion. However, we also successfully turned babies with moxibustion alone.
Simply go into a left side lying position (the one we explain in the first video) and then do moxibustion for 20-30 minutes. Once or twice per day...
We hope this helps! 😊
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!!
Hi there 😊,
we know such a diagnosis sounds terrible.
We hope this helps! 😊

Hellow! I love these videos they help a lot🙏
Am 36 weeks pregnant I've been having a backaches and menstruation pain also that gellish thing that has been coming out a lot!
Does that mean am in labor?
Hi there 😊,
first of all, thanks a lot for your feedback - we are very happy to hear that you find our videos helpful! 😘
As for your question:
It's difficult to say for us if you are in labor or not: backache and menstruation-like pain can certainly mean that you are in labor because every woman experiences labor in a different way.

Hi, I am 41 weeks now and I still don't have an contractions
🙁🙁
I have made 41 weeks today and the doctor is telling me to induce me 😢is it normal
Hi there 😘,
actually, it is quite common for doctors to offer an induction at 41 weeks. But of course, it is totally up to you if you want one or not...
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️
That's why im stress about my duedate September 5 for 40 weeks but im 39 weeks ang 5 days no sign of true labor 😢
Hi there 😘,
please be aware that statistically, some women go into labor before their due date.
Hi there 😊,
it is very difficult for us to tell you, if this is normal or not. We strongly advice you to see your provider!
We can only tell you in general that this can be totally normal. But again, in such cases, when very strong contractions come and go, we would rather consult with a doctor to make sure everything is fine...
We hope this helps! 😊
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!!
Today started to do head engagement exercise by seeing your video
Also could you help me to know in my case Normal delivery is really not possible?
I hope that cervix get soft and pelvic get expand once after labour starts..please share your view
Hi there 😊,
first of all, we would like to point out that nothing that you have mentioned in your message means that you cannot have a normal delivery. 😊
First, your contractions will make your cervix dilate.
We hope this helps! 😊
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!!

Hi there 😘,
unfortunately, we can only recommend getting a second opinion by another doctor! A doctor needs to look into your pregnancy case in order to give you good advice on what you should do....
Thank you!

Hi there 😘,
please understand that we are legally not allowed to make any recommendations as to what you should do in your situation - although we can very well understand what you are going through!
We can only give you this general information, in the hopes that it will help you:
In general, medical inductions are only done if there are medical reasons for them.
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!!

Hi there 😘,
unfortunately, not all women go into labor before or on their due date. Maybe, it's just too early for you?
Besides: just because you don't go into labor does not mean you need a C-section. There is also the option of an induction if there are medical reasons to have one...
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
