Hey guyz oscar is alive! He's just studying in a music band school then he have no free time... Maybe he will continue making video this summer.. FL CH is automated in the airbus autopilot system unlike in a Boeing system. For example, in a Boeing airliner, you'd click on HOLD under altitude to hold the current altitude and FL CH to go to the specified flight level, but in the Airbus autopilot, it changes mode to FL CH if the set altitude is not your current altitude. While climbing, you'll notice LVL CH shown on the AP Display :)

It's done using the walk view of the A330 (press W and S in the copilot view for example). But the default walk view is slow and stutters, so I slow the simulation rate of FlightGear to 0.25x or 0.125x, and then hold W or S for a pretty long time while recording video. In the editing software, I then speed up the video 4x or 8x respectively, so it looks like real time again :)
It's a pretty cool effect, but unfortunately at this point not really available "live" in FlightGear.

Hi, My FG goes to not responding mode whenever I tried to enter the Data in Pre-Flight Planning A320/30 series.....
FlightGear 2016.3.1 --> A330-243 --> Flight Planner -- > Click From(Dep) & TO (Arr) --->(Enter Airports) Click on Insert ---> FG goes to not responding mode..

See I tried doing an autoland with A-320. I can Do an autoland with a 777 Perfectly! But with the A-320 when I activate the Localizer and Approach button everytime it seems to wobble all over the place resulting in a crash. Would you know why this would be?

Hey can anyone tell me when must the "bleed air valve " switch be switch on ? As in During pre - start or startup
+Adham Afiq Let me recall the whole thing for you, I guess you ask for the A330 so: Bat 1, Bat 2, APU Bat, APU Start (The two buttons right beside the lights), then wait for the APU to start, after you can hear it (it is very hard to hear it lol) you must turn the APU bleed and both engines bleed ON... That's it, Engines must run up with this procedure
I see what you're saying. It doesn't seem so hard to make a 5 minute video explaining the A330's autopilot. That's because it's indeed not necessarily hard. But it is very time consuming.
Video production is often fun, but sometimes you just want to bang your head on the keyboard because something's just not the way you want it or just taking way longer than you intended. That's not really the reason I haven't been uploading lately though, please read the description for that.

In real life EXPED button shouldn't be there in an A330. It's been imported by the A320 which has is instead. Anyway good video!

Tragically, this is the AirAsia aircraft that just crashed. Does anyone know circumstances that would cause the autopilot to disengage?
Other sites I've visited suggest most pilots, in modern commercial aircraft, will stay in AP and let the plane fly out of trouble itself.
EXTREME turbulence can cause G loading that can interfere with eye focus on the instruments and make hand flying extremely difficult.
I believe the AirAsia flight encountered extreme turbulence, came out of AP and the crew was not able to control the plane.
The missing Air Asia flight QZ8501 was not a A330 (as in this video) The Aircraft was a A320 NOT A A330

He's not making videos because he realised that this game is piece of.... and he bought FSX or Prepar3D v2 for more realisticflying.
Not to forget X-Plane! Although chances are, if he did start using one of the big three, he'd make videos on them. My theory is that he simply lost interest - either in flight simulation or in video creation. It's just a theory though.
But hey, this game is damn good for a free one. Its sucks because it's free.
