Not hating or anything, but what if you get stranded with no chargers around? With a gas vehicle you could call AAA and they’ll fill you up enough to the nearest gas station in about 30 minutes including wait time. But with a Tesla or any electric vehicle I feel like that would be different. Charging from a AAA diesel generator for about 2 hours kind of defeats the purpose of electric over long distance.

Finally pulled the trigger on a Model Y but was met with high insurance rates. More than double what I pay for my Forester. After calculations you still come up a bit positive with gas savings. Expecting my delivery in a couple weeks 😁

Not true. As an installer, we install what is called a star center which allows power sharing between all super chargers before power is distributed to the charge posts which means no power loss at any stall ever, even if you have a neighbor. That I can never take away from tesla.

Hybrid is the way to go
