Pulling Deathkart Miata Engine
I finally pull the engine and transmission out of my 1990 Mazda Miata, so I can make progress in the engine bay and get the car set up for a manual swap. This is the first step in getting loads of small things done to the car.

Starting Deathkart Miata Turbo Swap
มุมมอง 592 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I start working on getting a Garrett gt2560 I got at the junkyard mounted up to the Deathkart Miata, and while I don't get it done, I start getting turbo lines plumbed and do the first step with creating a manifold. Some of the things I introduce and accomplish in this video are fairly temporary and there's a reason I decided to extend the process by not trying to rush it. My pri...

Deathkart Miata Gets a Racing Seat and Brake Lines
มุมมอง 792 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I finally get a seat back in the Miata, and one that can stay. In typical style, I get a dirt-cheap Kirkey and fabricate my own mounts. I also fix the leaky brake lines which have made the car difficult to drive since I got it. More things are soon to come!

This is older footage, so stay tuned as I continue to release more videos about the car.
7.5hp Gamefisher and Boat Motor Stand
มุมมอง 1.5K2 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I go over and clean up a 7.5hp Gamefisher boat motor that was supposed to go on the boat project I finally got rid of. In addition to getting the motor running, I built a stand for it, and got it in usable shape. While this is the end of the boat project, stay tuned for more content as I begin to get videos edited again.

Impreza Catch Can and Fender Intake Install
มุมมอง 7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I finally install a catch can to eliminate any oil burning from the breather system in my 2007 Impreza 2.5i and install a true cold air intake. While not strictly necessary, both of these mods were fun, quick, and easy to install for furthering the upgrades to my car.
Fixing Up SSR 125

You need an Air Oil Seperator. Catch can isn't going recirculate the oil from the excessive blow-by.

I used to have a 2006 Subaru Impreza for 2 years. I loved driving it but did not miss the engine. It need a new engine put into it in 2019 (I was only 17 at the time) because they kid who had it before me never checked the oil. The engine that was put in had to be rebuilt a few months later then the timing went off. I then drove it for 2 years completely fine until the summer of 2021. The oil started to leak a lot and was ticking. I started to do sooner oil changes but by November it started to knock and the oil pressure light would flicker whenever it was idling at red lights or stops (until I shift it to park or neutral). Then on December 21, 2021 (at just 98,000 miles) on my way to my cousins house that’s when the engine blew again. At first I thought I hit something like a plastic bottle or soda can, until I looked in my mirror and saw all the white smoke. The engine started to knock really badly and was sounding noticeably louder. On my way back I noticed my oil pressure light that would usually flicker was now fully lit, check engine light was on, and my cruise light was flashing indicating that it was disabled due to a code on the engine. It could hardly accelerate up to speed. It would rev up but couldn’t go fast. Once it reached 40mph is when the transmission would completely stall out and completely shut the car off, and whenever I would restart it it only stayed running if I kept my foot in the pedal. I drove like this for a few miles, trying to get it back to my house which wasn’t far away when it turned off on me again right next to a junkyard. I ended up just limping the car to the junkyard parking lot and the next day I signed the title over, got my stuff out of my car and let junkyard take it. I did go back a few days later and the grill was already removed from it and so were the rear body panels. I’ve been back to that junkyard since then and I haven’t seen it since December 2021. My 2004 Ford F-150 also went to that junkyard at 203,000 miles in February 2023 after it rolled over several times down the ditch a struck a tree. That truck had a brand new timing chain in it and brand new cams that were less than a year old when it was junked too. I went back to see it 3 months later and of course it was all taken apart 😅

I am still driving my 2005 impreza with the 2.5 motor and it has 209,000 miles. It has alot of rust from road salt here in the north so I may have to buy a new subaru. Thankyou for posting.
