2007 Impreza Engine Pull

In this video, I finally start working on my blown up 2007 Impreza 2.5i by pulling the bad engine. This video focuses on the process of getting it out and ready for disassembly, which I will do in a later video. Stay tuned for more progress on my Impreza and the engine swap.

appreciate the video how many bolts were holding the bellhousing to the motor?

From an old picture, I see 8 holes 1 dowel pin, and one stud. I think there are supposed to be 2 dowel pins, 2 studs with nuts, and 6 bolts.

Is there any mods that you could do to this car so you can make it fast ?

The only real thing would be a wrx or sti engine swap, which is more time and money than I have. After I rebuild the motor, it should be a little quicker than the unhealthy one I pulled out, and maybe even than stock because of different specs and intake/exhaust, but not by much.
