Serge has chosen to take kasabian in a different direction to fit in with modern music and to appeal to a younger generation (which seems to be working) and fair play i suppose. I just feel like he's sold out the heart of kasbaian. Atleast call the band something else and leave kasabian preserved and respected

Enjoyed the video and thoughts, be good to see a selection of old supporting bands, Doves, Travis etc. Be interested to see if they experiement a bit with the set list - they were never a band to particularly try much away from the core songs, be good to have some surprises in there with B sides, opening song, mixing of a few songs together. Helicopter whirring opening with screen montages and starting with Morning Glory rather than RARSTAR etc !

Tom is by far the heart and soul. The back stabbers are nowhere near old Kasabian standards…. Loving Tom’s solo career

I do think that they are intentionally not communicating a lot of details until they make sure that all of their Oasis '25 Tour dates are sold out. Basically the reunion frenzy is so huge among the fans right now that the band doesn't have to do anything more than a photo and a couple of announcements. Similarly, I firmly believe that Noel's motives are strongly monetary and not about the romance of reviving the "good old days". Having said that, as a fan, I fear that he is not fully convinced about being in a band with Liam again, thus any announcement about releasing new music or not will stay on hold until Noel is convinced that he can at least secure the money that he estimates out of all of this. As for their participation to festivals, regardless of the recent announcement refusing the rumours, I am not convinced that Oasis first gig after 16 years will be in Cardiff. It's a great city and all but it's not the venue that can stand up to the historical significance of this reunion. I bet that they will eventually be convinced by the Glastonbury management ($$$) and will become the headliners of 2025. As for Knebworth...well, that is for later.😉 (1996 - 2026)

Oasis have confirmed they're not doing Glastonbury - not sure why people go on about that festival because Oasis don't need it, they're bigger than that. Agree with Knebworth, but I think the tour will go to other parts of the world late 2025 and then Knebworth 2026 to celebrate that anniversary.

I agree all the Wembley dates are booked and they are holding off for the initial dates to sell out before “adding” more shows due to overwhelming demand. I can see them adding 1 or 2 after each subsequent sellout. As for the breakup, I think it was inevitable that they’d get back together after seeing the Stone Roses reuniting. I also think we will get new music in the form of LG/HFB leftovers that get reworked. Also think the Wembley dates will be recorded for future release, it makes sense with so many dates being booked. Could even see one of the final dates being shown live worldwide on Netflix or another big streaming service since the old school PPV isn’t really a thing anymore.

For support I'd love to a mix of the classic and the modern, and nice and eclectic like at Knebworth '96 (not that I was there)... Big Special are a fantastic new act who don't get anything like enough publicity - it all seems to go to Fontaines DC instead. For some reason. (They're ok). Young Fathers are brilliant. Yard Act are great. As for 'classic' acts: The Coral would be great, as would the Libertines, Johnny Marr. I don't see Kasabian doing it, given the tension between 'Kasabian' as they exist now and Tom Meighan, who supported Noel during last autumn. From the 90's, I'd absolutely love to see the Chemical Brothers, Richard Ashcroft would be cool and... as special 'secret' support Blur. Why not? MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! Failing that, Graham Coxon would do me nicely, given he's been touring with Noel.

I’m VERY intrigued on the other band members too. Gem has to be a sitter. But why is he being treated/relegated to touring member status..? If Chris joins (seemingly very likely) then surely it would make sense for Andy to pick up the bass again (same thought for him on touring status) but I do see why they’d default to Russell.

I just wanna say Sanjay that your content is so in depth and so interesting for music lovers like me, and you deserve to have WAYYY more views!! Keep going and I know that you will become massive!!
