In my studio DAW I have 2500 AUs (accumulated over 15 years or so). In my laptop pure Logic. I can perfectly compose with just Logic nothing else. Makes me wonder all that money spend and how they really improve my music. I feel happier just using logic's stuff. It's indeed a complete DAW. Thank you for the video!
Glad you enjoyed the video 🙏🏾 and yeah it’s insane value that we pay once and we have access to all everything we could possibly need to make great music - what a time to be alive!
I used to be able to edit my highlited regions fades and gian all at the same time. with this new update It's not there now. Maybe I have to tweak something but I never touched it when I upgraded.
I honestly think that so many companies are abusing the term "AI". None of these new features qualify as AI for me. The new players for example are just additions to existing product/technology. The stem splitter is not new technology. It actually existed before AI. To me the real AI is the tech behind UDIO for example.
Well, you’re just wrong. It IS AI. It responds not only to new parameters but changes within the song based on its own decisions. This is radically new technology.
It still needs much more improvement in editing and the UI (and UX). Sticking with Live 12 as my main DAW for now but this is a very powerful DAW. Cool upgrade features.
Your points on logic 11 A.I. are spot on. They're just tools. As you said, songwriters can use them as examples to give to actual players for guidance / inspiration. That's putting A.I to good use. Sound is great by the way.
Appreciate the kind words and glad the audio sounds good! 🙏🏾 I’m excited to see how home studio musicians use them going forward - if it helps us realise our ideas better then I’m all for it!
Has anyone gone from laptop Logic to iPad Logic? you just use a USB keyboard? I cannot comprehend how anyone would use Logic without key commands and a full keyboard.
Hey! So the M4 iPad Pro’s that were just released have an updated Magic Keyboard accessory you can buy which has a full set of function keys which enables more key commands. I believe Apple has also updated Logic on iPad with more key commands in the latest update - hope this helps!
Not liking the new Logic Pro 11 M1 Silicon Edition. Mostly because I have a 2020 intel iMac lol. The new features seem great but it looks like my 3 and half year old iMac is now obsolete when it comes to future Logic updates smh.
Yeah I think if you bought just before Apple released the M1 you’ve been unlucky there.. I think Apple needed to make the shift as this new capability just wouldn’t have been possible with Intel and some people were going to get burnt in the process. If you’re looking to upgrade I’d wait until Apple release the M4 line as they’re tipped to be a huge upgrade on the M3 … although it won’t be cheap 😅
"The reality is, there are no AI features in Logic. The session players have been in development for over three years, way before the AI craze. Apple added AI to the branding for publicity, which seems to be working. Think of the drummer session released 8 years ago, to me this is no different
Reaper is the best DAW. It's not even close. Nobody leaves Reaper for Logic! Lol. But plenty leave Logic for Reaper. As far as aspiring musicians go, Reaper is only 60$, it's more stable and NEVER CRASHES. It utilizes my m2 fully and is FULLY customizable in every way. It loads in 5 seconds and recording and editing is superior in every way. Now what's that about UNQUESTIONABLY?
Reaper is ugly as fuck. It looks and feels unpolished and unfinished. You go down a rabbit hole tweaking it just to make it useable, even with the premade Themes it’s still ugly and unpolished. Because you can customize everything, you end up customizing it non stop. People that like Reaper never finish any songs because they’re busy tweaking, tinkering and customizing. The people complaining about Logic crashing are the people who don’t update their third party plugins, mainly due to them using cracked plugins. Logic never crashes for me because I’m not ghetto and I don’t use any cracked software anywhere on my computer.
2:18 a few differences because not atoms editing or audio to midi

Yeah I’ve watched a few vids of others saying a similar thing… maybe Apple will bring it back as seems to be annoying quite a few

I love the vlog style content, you would never guess you lived in London (so green!). Can’t wait for more logic content
London has loads of greenery just gotta know where to find it ;) glad you enjoyed the vid!
DYNAMIC EQ!! Don’t understand why they haven’t updated the channel EQ to include it.
Good shout! Did forget about that …although not essential I do really want this in Logic - really hope apple build it into channel eq in future!

Cubase 13 best

Nice video! Sorry may I ask what you shoot your vlog footage on? Seems smooth! Thanks.
Thanks mate! And just an iPhone (some
are surprised but I don’t even colour grade it’s just great straight out of the phone)

@@sanjaypanchalmusic Oh that’s fantastic. Everything Apple I’ve ever tried with the word magic in front of it has failed miserably
@@johnviera3884 😂😂😂 yeah it’s such a silly marketing name isn’t it…the Magic Mouse is anything but magic!

Yeah me too but I can live with it since I have Pro Tools Heat. I still believe Logic Pro is the better DAW though.
100% agree! Logic is the BEST
unquestionably...right 😂

@drvoodoo3073 You argue like a Kamala voter. Lol. 😂
@ I have no idea what that is
