If ever replay Vigilant, I highly recommend bringing some of the followers from Khajiit will Follow mod, specifically Nanak. That dude is a tiny little lore nerd and enhanced my experience a lot.

This seems like such a shame but I get what they were going for. If I were designing this, though, I would have probably avoided copy/pasting Meridia's origin and would have made it ao that all her alternative paths just suddenly end and become finite deminsions, almost like shards of possibly broken off from the whole mirrior rather than inserting a whole multiverse. At this point multiverses where "this is like ours except XYZ happened" are everywhere and really don't add much to existing stories beyond fan services and cheap jokes.

It's kind of wild that it's possible all these long anticipated mods along with GTAVI will come out before TESVI.

Why you hating on this game so much? The setting is endearing, the plot is interesting and the visuals quite cool and stylish even by today measure. Yeah, too bad about poor game design and technical problems, sure, but you can't deny it its positive sides.

All in all , it is used as a mathematic proof of God , as all things are created in a continuous and ordered way , conforming to a set of ratio rules. I believe that the use of the letter is a direct reference to the Dragonborn's inborn ability to communicate and traverse the realms of Aetherius and Oblivion , and as such , via achieving amaranth , fulfilling his purpose as a Shezzarine and becoming the ultimate , complete and perfect being , mimicking Ysmir / Talos / etc. Just a thought tho. Finished vigilant for the first time, on my first playthrough of Living Skyrim 4, on my first playthrough since like 2011. It's really an amazing piece to introduce me to how I didn't even know the lore of elderscrolls was this complex, it's like finding out the Lord of the Rings had a book called the Silmarillion. Since finishing I also watched a video on Dragon Breaks and I'll probably start reading into more lore about the divines at least. But in reading that reddit post for a cut and dry explanation, I felt alot more satisfied about how many hours I put in to the mod really not knowing much other than, oh yeah Lame was the first vampire, so we're redeeming souls of Molag's victims but i was completely lost on who's Jyggalag, on top of a bunch of other side bosses who didn't get the same amount of exposition as lets say Pelinal. (In watching your full video, i was very surprised that in my efforts to try and do as much side content as i could handle, before doomering and rushing to the ending, i completely missed the Marukh flashback, tying in at least the significance of The Stone so much more for me. also WHAT THE FK IS THAT WORM THING AT THE END OF YOUR VIDEO AND WHY IS IT CALLED AN OWL) The reddit post really straightened the overall plot and ofc the endings; though my next immediate thought was about what someone would experience if they were role-playing a villian - then I saw the first 8 minutes of this video, how you get an obvious evil choice and that evil choice plunges you straight into act 4 and you not knowing anything will probably want to just skip everything to "escape", bringing about molag bal's true plan.... BUT ITS EVEN WORSE, realizing that all of acts 1-3 as a good guy is just molag bal's 4D chess manipulation to make you desperate and filled with despair, feeding your ego into slaying all his victims and rushing to the ending (and even stopping Jyggalag like a good little completionist i tried to be) just to get to him (only i was fortunate enough to farm the karma for the good ending). .... Edit just found your other vigilant video and my good sir, you're the goat

I really don't like Vicn mods but I appreciate the good it does for the community (I hate dark fantasy)

Could we stop trying to turn Skyrim into Dark Souls? It's getting to the point where every new big mod is just Dark Souls. I didn't even finish Vigilant because it had too much Dark Souls bullshit in it.

Lets hope that motherhood made Rigmor less of a bratt in her third mod. Cause when ever she talked, I had to turn of voice audio just to not lose my mind, that and maybe less shouting in general.

I am currently taking my biggest break from Skyrim. It has been around 1 year and 1 month. I have played the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod excessively so I was burnt out. I can't wait for all these mods to come out (especially Glenmoril!) so that I can return to Skyrim and complete all of them in one character. There are mods that I've never played too, like Project AHO and Helgen Rebuilt.

These mod authors work like the one piece creator because they don't know when to stop

I think I have more hope than most that TES6 will have decent lore. While Castles is a travesty, Blades at least had lore with every item, and with ESO they have aknowledged the big lore community especially post-launch. So I have more hope than most that TES6 will be a bit deeper. But probably not super excited still.

What's wrong with Rigmor of Tamriel?

Once I've beaten and completed the entire Vicn saga, played through Odyssey of the Dragonborn and finished Apotheosis I'm gonna' finally retire my Skyrim until my grandson is old enough to play it.

Here I am, throwing myself in the pyre by saying: Im actually really excited to see where Rigmor of Tamriel goes. There, may the Owl do with my sanity and fate as it deems appropriate.

Speaking of Vicn's trilogy, do you plan on reviewing them once Glenmoril is out or once both Glenmoril and the rest of Unslaad are voiced?

Just as I was sad to leave Faerun after finishing BG3, Skyrim comes for the rescue. And God of God, Glenmoril. Thats grand. So many years of waiting to see the conclusion and hopefully save Lalanoah. I crave this mod more than anything Vicn ever released. Someone would have to give Him idea for a good ending where we get the toggle to organise St. Bazura night whenever we want. Thanks for the heads up Cotho. xd

Sadly the author of Apotheosis hasn't been active for a while, leading people to think he is either facing personal problems or in an hiatus due to the political state of his country. Hope he is doing well...

I was reading through Vicn's blog a while ago, including his insane future plans for Glenmoril, and it does kinda feel like the Vicn series would be the natural result of a combination of a Japanese man's complexity addiction and dedication to the grind, and Kirkbride's lorem ipsum ramblings. I wonder how much Glenmoril will escalate with the final update since we already know from Unslaad that "final update" can potentially mean content that eclipses the entire rest of the mod.
