I had a funny thought as I watched the video. OnceLost Games having to recreate a new lore, history, gods, reminds me of Jeremy Clarkson leaving the BBC and Top Gear and making The Grand Tour, something just as successful. I can't wait to immerse myself in this new universe.

Like others who have commented I can confirm that there is a metal grate over that hole now but if you attack it you'll see that it takes damage. If it takes damage it can be broken. It took me 20 grenades at 4 points of damage each and then about 100 explosive arrows at 6 points each and I blasted a section out of the grate. Just make sure you're hitting the same section every time. Then I was able to drop in and grab the treasure just like your video shows. (I'll do anything to avoid going into the shroud because I hate it!)

The ready to open message only means that you successfully cast the spell, THEN you pick what to open. Its like you cast the spell without a target in mind, only to then apply it to the thing you are trying to open.

I feel a bit disapointed with those cultures. I like my fantasy worlds to have dark aspects, especially in a mature game. This sound very mild and almost boring.

This missing 70% of my attacks when I’m dual wielding has killed this game bro I cannot stand this stupid shit but none of the enemies have an issue landing hits on me … fuck this game man honestly

Thank you for posting this video. I have successfully made several alchemists based on your advice. One point that needs to be highlighted is the apparent limitation of Enhance Ability. It is a level 2 transmutation spell. This spell allows spellcasters to strengthen an aspect of a creature's physical or mental attributes. Description: Bestow a magical enchantment upon an ally. They gain Advantage on Ability Checks with a chosen Ability (from Wiki). Keywords are: ▶upon an ally ◀ To work around this limitation, I make sure that one of my other companions has Enhance Ability, and casts it on Brightsong before she begins making potions. Always happy to be corrected if I have misunderstood anything. 🤠

If you can see the value in the game, without discrediting it because of its graphics? Yes. Absolutely yes. Daggerfall is better than most games, it just looks like it's in alpha still haha.

I loved dropping in when i could on the live stream and also awesome to be able to go back and watch properly now. The sound of cliff racers and armourer hammers... so soothing

The thing that makes these puzzles absolutely a pain in the ass is the absolute lack of any hints whatsoever, at 1:09 why in the world would I interact with it twice? Got locked out of progressing through the puzzle because of that. The rpg element of this game is great but the puzzles are mostly absolutely horrid.

Haha I was wondering if someone would give you a hint about the puzzle cube… back when I played this when it came out we had the old 56kb/s dial up and no idea about wikis… so I didn’t progress the main quest for literal real world weeks until I noticed it on my umpteenth return to the ruins!

What am I doing wrong? I just can't get passed the gap using my grappling hook. I always fall down. I speed run, use "E" to send the hook, and I end with "Space". Anybody pls help :)
