Here's what will happen: Moscow claims it was only lightly damaged and will be send back for repairs. They toss the scrap in a warehouse and no-one every talks about it. On paper it'll remain in inventory until a few years from now where it'll be quietly written off.
Fighterbomber and several Russian sources already confirmed it was hit, with them saying that they're seeing if it can be repaired or not. Even if it can be salvaged (probably not considering Russia's godawful avionics bottleneck) it's still an enormous L and makes Russia look even more like a clown show pretending to be a country.

If I remember correctly there are 8 prototype su-57 variants that were made. After production started su-57 was finalized with a newer engine. Is this a prototype or a finalized version?
Ukraine intelligence claimed that russia had 6 operational su57, and also claimed that now only 5. So I think they destroyed a proper one
@@tetispinkman9135 the akhtubinsk airfield is a research test site so there is a high chance this might also be a prototype. Su-57 prototypes have crashed before so this might not be so new.
@@yarikbondarev9171 but su57 is not taken by russian military yet officially I think. So why would they be at combat ready airbases?
