What would you recommend to a beginner for needle set??😮

as my first set of interchangeable needles i bought the drops pro classic set that i bought for around 32€ (35$) and as a beginner i find them really great, i think it’s the best way to get into knitting without having to spend to much on a hobby you’re not sure will stick ! also they are very nice to knit with (and compatible with knit pro cables)

Whew three days for a sweater. I knitted the Hogwarts Christmas Tree Skirt for myself this year. I was able to do it in a couple of weeks but I must admit that it took me several days for my hands to recover. I love the idea of your newsletter! I so appreciate your style and eye for fiber and color combination I would so appreciate you sharing this information.

I made a hooded scarf years ago because I don’t like wearing hats and we were going to Yellowstone National Park in the winter. I used a worsted weight yarn along with one of those faux fur yarns for around my face. I lined the hood with felt to keep out the wind. With the scarf wrapped around my face, I was nice and toasty without being over bundled! I guess I was ahead of my time.

Are those the pink HH needles set? Do you know anyone who has any sizes of needles and cables ofbthese they'd like to sell? Thank you!!

Thank you so much for the helpful demonstration! Your tension is absolutely beautiful. I love doing the norwegian purl, and my ribbing (flat and in the round) looks quite even because of it. However when I'm knitting flat (especially stockinette) a full row of purls contribute to rowing out because they come out looser compared to knits, and inconsistent on their own as well. I wonder if you have had any issues similar to mine? I'm trying to avoid unnaturally tightening only my purls, but have not found a perfect solution for inconsistency besides doing so.

Rooting for you and the 3 day sweater!

I recently challenged myself to knit a 5 day sweater. I did Peppermelon by thea Colman with no lace on the back. My gauge was 14 st and I managed to cast on and cast off in 5 days. I'm sure you can do a 3 day with a larger gauge!! I was waking up early to start it and I basically decided I wouldn't fix any serious mistakes. It was a success! I wear the sweater often. :)

I couldn't imagine knitting a sweater in three days. I am currently working on a cardigan, which is taking forever! I now understand what you mean by hand pain from all the purling.

I made the Simple Knit Hood a few months ago. It is a Christmas gift for my brother. I used two strands of K&C Superwash Wool Luxe. It is cast on like a toe-up sock, where you knit across both sides of a starting line. Then you turn at one end, knitting flat. You do increases at the back and a few at the front endges for shaping. It's joined in the round at the bottom to do the cowl part. It was a really simple knit and turned out very nice! It was easy to adjust the size to suit my brother's extra large head lol.

So strange, I consider a balaclava something which also protects the face (think ski mask and vank robbers) but I could easily be mistaken about this. Purl Soho also has a lovely (and free) hood scarf pattern.

Hey good timing on this video! All the rage right now for sure! I will be checking out Dani hood, Lenu and f-hoodie for sure! I am 100% on board with this trend. The wind is killing me lately. I started cinnamon twists as soon as I got the book. I love it, but fair warning, it’s not for the faint of heart, It’s not hard but you really need to pay close attention to your knitting as the stitches are constantly changing. Definitely not for TH-cam or tv knitting. In the end, it will be a major achievement. And I’m a big fisherman knit/cable sweater knitter

Hi! I think the cashmere treat with the darker mohair. I envy people that can use mohair as I’m sensitive to it. I’m working on Shizen by Eri Shimizu. It’s a really fun knit, a ribbed v-neck pullover. I’m using Lana Grossa Allora & Malabrigo Lace. 😊
