If you’re looking for a neatly tailored tee, the Feels Right from Lily Kate Makes is also a good option. Currently knitting one up in silk and it’s turning out lovely x

wow the piña colada sweater looks so cool. i really enjoy your version with the contrast in opacity and texture. I'm about to start my first intarsia project, but it's quite a lot more simple than this.

Oh, I was not expecting the shoutout! Thank you! 💖 So glad everything worked out for your Traveler hat. I was a little nervous to mention the dryer in case it would be disastrous for others. 😅 That green is fantastic!!
Your Piña Colada is everything. Can't wait to watch your progress on that. And Bowie is adorable 😭 Thanks for another great ep!

Good timing! I was ready for some extra knitting time and a podcast 😊. Feeling agitated and weepy today....I thinking it's the tapering off of a medication.
I'm knitting a Shizen. Not mindless, but I'm really enjoying it. New-to-me yarn...Noomad Noos Silk Banana Yarn. The yarn is "ecologically spun banana fiber". Cool stuff 😎 👌

I love ALL your podcasts !!!! Bowie is a cutie !! Is he a rescue ? I've never seen that mix of breeds ! I envy all your black sweaters .... my dog is white ..... LOL ! I finished the The Maya Top , and a crochet Wild Oleander Hooded Scarf .......working on an April Cardigan , and nne to get back to my Pressed Flowers Cardi !!
As a quilter , ( and 50 years old ) I would advise you to use REALLY good lighting when doing your craft !! ..and be sure to vocalise that you would like some of your grandmas fabric -- other family ( especially if they dont craft _ ) can end up donating it , not knowing you would like to have it ! Blessings !!

I just “started” Bridgerton yesterday again, had watched one epi a while ago but now watched maybe six yesterday while noodling on my husband’s new sweater… you’d be proud as it’s kettle black linen quill, my first black knit! I’m riffing from Petiteknit Poppy Tee and trying to turn it into a V neck, crossing fingers I manage. Also picked up Tan Top and Shorts pattern that I might make with a black cotton cashmere I have soon for next all black knit. Can’t wait to see how your coal raglan looks!

Instead of doing another top ruffle sweater (I cant remember the name..the one you are wearing...which it super cute on you and would look great in black), how about an Ellen sweater instead? Thoughts? That new shawl will be soooo good in the fall! Youll be happy you finished it and it will be ready to go. I think the round neck for your tshirt will be better if you are bringing in the ease. Your ease question is hard to answer. As much as I like a sweater with positive ease I would knit one. I will only store buy. I'm usually about a 1x or 2x so knitting that much is my only option. If I was going to make an oversize it would be huge and cost way tooo much. I still plan to save what ever I can so I can do that same scrappy sweater you did. Im finishing up a modified ranunclus. Long sleeve in malabrigo susurro dark grey. Also almost finished with Brume but not doing the full collar. I want to do a Capulus v neck and maybe a Linea blouse this summer. During the summer we are super busy so althought I love watching podcasts...I get behind duri g the summer and find myself watching summer videos in the fall. Whatever you decide to do...we will support. Im not an animal person but your new pup is cute. I would probably name my pets after musicians too. My newest obsession for music is a band called So Below. Listen to the song Bone. Totally my jam!

I love your videos and I think pattern roundups are so fun. I would love to see you talk about your most/least worn knits and maybe discuss how your knits have worn/held-up over time. ❤ Thank you for the lovely content you create.

Another great podcast! Your Effervescent Sweater is so pretty! I also love your Audria shawl and would love to cast one on, but I’ve never done colorwork knitted flat. Do you have any tips for that? TIA.
    P.S. - Bowie is adorable!

I look forward to all your videos so the more the merrier.
I’m currently refining how I pick my size myself. I have a 52” bust and often end up knitting the largest size in a lot of patterns because I’m terrified of making something too small. I don’t know yet if this strategy works but currently I’m looking at the schematic and comparing it to my body measurements then look at how that part of the sweater is formed and choose the size based on the part that would be hardest to alter, then increase/decrease or cast on stitches to adjust the measurements everywhere else. For me because I carry my weight in my midsection on a top down sweater it’s usually just picking a couple sizes down from the chart and then casting on below the armpits to get to the larger size. The other thing I learned from my first sweater (which was the Ashland sweater, NOT a beginner pattern lol) turning out a little oversized was that sometimes my gauge changes from swatch to project so now I measure both my fresh swatch and blocked swatch and measure my gauge on the project as I go to make sure it keeps matching the “dry” gauge swatch.

Thank you for reminding me to measure the gauge swatch twice I often space it and I should definitely know better 😉🖤

    Couple of things:
I am a combination knitter. This method makes purling very easy. Give it a try
I also got a new pup when my older dog was approaching 8 years old. It took close to 2 years for her to accept him as a family member and not an irritation.
Love your videos just as they are❤

Thanks for mentioning combination knitting that used to be the way I knit, my default now is to not, but that really is a good solution 🖤

Love your videos! I, too, have a tendency to make garments a little too large. Same reason, tight knitter and fear will be too small. Trying to get past that.

I feel like I need to reblock my half and half since I added about 30 cast on stitches to mine and it looks smaller than yours. Or maybe my tension is really super tight on that for some reason.

My half and half gets pulled and tugged by kids so I’m sure they have helped stretch it out a bit
