The "too hot" things dont ever have a good taste.

Nuris are high quality, for sure. But sometimes they are a little dense and dry, imho. They'd be best on a sandwich with a tomato to add moisture. Other times the Nuris strike me as perfect right out of the can.

I tried these today. I couldn't finish the crown prince, which you said was less salty

Is there anything better than Wild Sockeye Salmon from Alaska. I can eat a whole can with mayo and relish on whole grain toast.

I like the wild planet sardines on Wasa rye crisp bread with some green onions. Reminds me of suolakala. Mmmm

My Grandfather is from Denmark, and needless to say, we grew up on kippers and eggs. My Dad liked to scramble them together, while I prefer dipping the fish in the egg yolk. Espinaler sauce (not hot) drizzled on the fish first. GOOD eating!

I got a can just for the "Support RTG" and really enjoyed them. Yes, hot at first, but the flavor is amazing. I eat a couple cans a month now.

I just finished polishing off my first can of King Oscar Brisling Sardines, Mediterranean Style. They were delicious! I’m going to make sure I always have some in the pantry. My thanks to Winston for, once again, steering me in the right direction.

Riga Gold cod liver is the bomb!! I make a romaine salad with onions,capers,mini cucumber, large green olives and feta cheese. I pour the oil on top with a sprinkle of lemon pepper. My eyes just roll to the back of my head when I eat this salad.

The pantry of sardines behind you looks like my childhood kitchen pantry. As children raised in Detroit we ate sardines with premium crackers and Lipton tea with lemon. This was our daily breakfast with other neighbor kids during summer break. We also loved our cod liver oil chased down with a prune. Yes I have had perverted taste buds since a child.

I do not drink milk either, but to cool spicy heat, nobody does it better than milk. I do not do heat for heat's sake. I want peppers to add some heat and build flavor. My favorite pepper for that purpose is the jalapeno. However, I do like serrano peppers, but I have less use for them. I want to find a pepper about twice as hot as a serrano -- that is, about 50,000 Scoville units -- but I do not know any peppers that fit that requirement. Habaneros are beyond my cutoff level. Right out.

I can get Cole's here, very good, but at $7.99 don't get it often.

That looks like it pretty much cleared out your sinuses ! I don't think that I would be able to handle that kind of heat . I tend to shy away from habaneros after my experience with them back in the 1970s. 🌶🌶🌶
