      Loved them! I've been looking all over the place for the ones in the Louisiana Hot Sauce, but the stores around here either don't carry them, or there's a Sprat-head around here that's faster than me!

    Not being clinical but - pepperin comingled with turmeric works wonders for the insides. The spines are a likeness to the edible bones in the salmon ? Glad you love these. Thank you, King Oscar 👑 !

    I like KO even though they do tend to be a bit soft. Never had the cracked pepper ones. I will keep looking for them. Good video

      The flavor on these black peppers are one of my faves. I tried a few more cans after this and none of them were quite as mushy as this one. Still soft, but this can was a mush fest!

    Great review! And you can definitely eat the peppercorns, they are tasty and healthy. When you have a high quality oil, like extra virgin olive oil, you can use the leftover oil as well. It makes a great dipping sauce for bread when you add a little vinegar, herbs, and red pepper flakes (or whatever you like). It can also be used to make salad dressing or to cook with, add a little fish flavor to whatever you are cooking. EVO is so healthy, you don't want to waste it. No EVO left behind! Love your channel. Very best wishes. 💖🐟

    I have eaten a lot of sardines in my life but I have never seen that black pepper flavor scheme. Im sure I would love that! Always eat the spines too!
    I am always on the look out for sardines in water with NO salt added for my doggy and kitty to snack on, they both absolutely love sardines but mostly all of the brands have way too much salt for them.
    Onto watch your other videos! Cheers from Northern California!

      Thank you so much for the comment!! I noticed a few that say low sodium or no salt added have about the same sodium as one that isn’t labeled that way. @SardineExpedition  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

  • @davidcopple8071
    @davidcopple8071 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is exactly why I quit buying flavored sardines.
    First off they use the cheapest ingredients they can find to keep their production costs down. So you are not even getting the best grade of extra virgin olive oil much less mustard, tomato, or hot sauces. I buy really good extra virgin olive oil. And Dijon mustard, several quality hot sauces, ( right now my favorite is Tabasco's Chipotle pepper sauce), but I have many others I like as well. So I've found it so much better to just buy the regular sardines of whatever is your go to brand and drain them then add your own higher quality olive oil, and any other sauces that you have a desire for. Anyone who has ever purchased the sardines in any of the popular sauces. Can attest to the fact that those sauces, mustard, tomato, or anything else. Has almost zero flavor and are pretty much useless as a sauce.
    So if you really want to enhance your sardine eating enjoyment. Just add your own olive oil and sauces. Trust me when I say once you become accustomed to being able to customize your sardines to your own pallet and mood. You'll never waste your time with any of those " flavorless flavored sardines" ever again.

    • @SardineExpedition
      @SardineExpedition  หลายเดือนก่อน

      You have a great point!! I will give that a try for sure! I’m just trying everything out there as so many seem to go for the inexpensive easy cans they can just throw in a bag and go. The more I try sardines and the varieties the more my mind opens up to all the options and things you can do. What’s your fav oil to use? I need to grab a good one! Thanks! 😁😁
