Minnesota is exactly the same
Yup, every winter you just become gollum and lose yourself. When summer comes and daylight lasts longer than 2-4 hours you suddenly become human again.
LOL! This is true this time of year…😅. If you’re born here, it’s like ”meh, whatever, that’s the way it is”…
Its the same thing if we go to somewhere in africa jungle.. its not racism.. humans are curious no matter where you are from..
Imagine a city where public transport is peaceful, pleasant, and reliable, where people mind their own business, and you can feel calm and relaxed even when commuting to work. The city is clean and well-organized, and you don't even need to force yourself to be extroverted. Actually, I feel the same! I really appreciate living here.
Beautiful music made in Finland! I like it.
nice
Seems like you love your coutry, making it better. the heart sign, the heart sign.
Dark , dark 😅😅😅😅
Is it all right if I ask you how your Christmases have been in Finland ? What is your Christmas Eve like ?
Great video! Nice work.
Music sounds like "mr. Lonely" 😅 Which is accurate for Finland.
I saw the sun today, in the horizon. Day now is 5 hours of dawn and dusk.
This is so funny 😂
😂😂😂Usually mämmi is eaten with Sugar.. Cream in liquid form... Also milk works whipped cream..😂😂😂😂😂😂 Made me laugh when pulling out whipped cream can.. 😂 😂 😂
Yeah he delusional, Finland one of the most racist countries out there
So because of his own personal experience, he's delusional. I'm pretty sure he was asked about his experience.
@ after rethinking this, why he hasnt gotten racist treatment is connected to him being a polite and working man.
😂
Rules must have exceptions. Even in my childhood in the 1960's it was clear that if you want to keep your bike, it must be old, rusty and ugly. ('Murtovarma' is the term that actually refers to a bike that is old and ugly) Otherwise sooner or later it is gone.
When I was a kid in the 80's someone tried to set my bike on fire. It was fine after new tires and a saddle but looked pretty nasty. After that no-one tried to steal it. I could leave it unlocked and it was never stolen unlike several bikes before and after.
Some thief's think old bikes are more ok to steal.
It's just borrowing. Sooner or later it will return to you. Most likely. :D
They return them to the lady of the lake.
my bicycle has left from rack 2 times in 1 year, somehow it has come back both times. i have no idea who is using it :D no one of my friends admit that they borrowed it :D
World class quality, hope you make it the way you wanna make it!
I have seasonal depression its hard man to live here
it do be like that
Hi bro, Would love to get few information from you. How can I reach you?
Black man complaining of the nation's homogeneity while choosing not to live in an unbearable third world country of his ancestors. Finland value its own people rather than foreigners.
you nailed it.
Finland 🇫🇮😍
From a coffee addict ,this was incredible content. I'd watched while sipping my dear morning coffee ☕️ ❤ have a nice day
Where do most black people live in Finland?
It's comparable to most of Asia where a country is basically considered as one tribal group. If one can have friends that see one in the same group, then you are friends with the whole school or town.
Grill it a little!
Im half black and half white. From the most northern in the hemisphere to the most southern. Im half finish and half south african Zulu.
My was existence shook our family since family is very racist..openly racist finish people towards bla ck people, Arabs and romani people. My own grandmother urged my mother to abort me to not bring this confusion of a child into this world. I am my granny's favourite grand child 😂
bro you defenetly have to go to other cityes of finland and see how there is `there is wild🤣🤣🤣 i think youve been only in Helsinki
On that note: favourite cafes in Helsinki?? Would love some tips!
Lovely video! Thank you so much! Now it is season for your next Finnish conscious, mindfully enjoyed addiction - to be obsessed about sunsets and to really savour them - from now to mid January the sun sets for more than an hour (when I was in a Mediterranean country I was so disappointed, as the sun just "plopped" into the horizon, and that was that) - In Finland sunrise is long, shifting and gorgeous, too. Take a bus or a tram if you can, when you commute, not the Metro, so you don't miss a daily sun-meditation. The sun in Finland when near the horizon, is not too bright to look at now, and it really lifts your spirits - and if it mostly is fully cloudy, then it sure feels like a dear friend shows up after "long time no see". Embrace the beauty of sunsets and sunrises! I call it sun-basking. So I wish you amazing colourful moments! Be ready at 8 am and 15.30 pm. Sending gratitude for your visual and verbal telling about your Finland!
Love to see people like you move into Finland. Welcome home!
You really know finnish culture.
I'm a simple Finn. If there's coffee around, I'll drink it. And drink it, and drink it. No milk, no sugar, just black filtered coffee all day long. I easily drink 1-1,5 liters of coffee per day. I do have the advantage that caffeine does pretty much nothing for me because I'm ADHD. It's too mild of a stimulant for my brain to get stimulated by. It does make me sleepy at night though.
5:33 Great visual storytelling here! This part could also play as an ad for Finland.
atleast in modern days brand and roast level are things that affects what coffee are you buying. Nobody sane person ever buys löfbergs coffee, its expensive and have horrible taste. Juhla mokka over all.
Just perfect video for today.. This morning i woke up to realize i forgot to buy coffee yesterday. Having to go to walk dogs without having usual first 2 cups of coffee made me worry do i end up on evening papers headlines if i see other people on that walk.. "A man assaulted 3 innocent walkers..2 of them in insentive care" 😂😂😂 Coffein is a drug 😂😮
One of the best coffee related videos I'v ever seen. Amazing slogan too, any coffee is better than no coffee. Love it.
Well done. Liked and shared :)
The interesting quirky aspect to Finns and coffee is that we drink mostly light roast coffee and we're the only country in the world that prefer light roast over dark roast. The bulk coffees in Finland are almost all light roast. Visiting your grandma, you'll be given light roast. Work meeting? Light roast. Grab a takeaway coffee at the fuel station? Light roast. Which means that when a foreigner visits Finland, they usually complain that our coffee tastes awful. In reality, they have been drinking dark roast their entire life and light roast just tastes different. Light roast is less forgiving with the bean quality and it's quite common for some people to put too much coffee grounds into the filter. Dark roast leads to you tasting the roasting process, light roast leads to tastes of the actual bean itself.
It's much more the fact that pan / filter coffee is a relative rarity outside northern Europe & America, and espresso-based and French press and other types are far more popular in general. Some countries even prefer cold to hot. And the difference between espresso & plain pan coffee is far greater than the difference between different roast levels for pan coffee. It doesn't help that typical Finnish coffee quality regardless of any roast level is comparable to Nescafe instant coffee. Any comparable Swedish version is at least 8000 times better.,
2400 tons, 2,4 million kilos, 5 million pounds. maybe like a kilo per person ... i bet finns drank all of that in 2 days 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It was rationed and coffee was last thing that was. Interestingly once supply was stable there was special tax on coffee (above designated ration) which was quite steep and let to explosion of artisanal smuggling of coffee and other heavily taxed goods from Sweden.
This was a great video :)
Good video to watch while taking a break and drinking a cup of fresh coffee. Thanks again and keep up with the good videos.
I love your coffee "piste" in your apartment! ❤❤❤ I don't live in Helsinki anymore, but I've recognized your house and it's amazing; I've lived in that same building several years before I moved to the country side!
Super!
A Finn here. I couldn't agree more about the coffee after lunch, it's consistently my favorite moment of the day. Also our two 10-20 minute daily breaks at work in Finland are literally called coffee breaks (kahvitauko)
Kun kerta tarjolla on niin sitä myös juotahan
A coffee break at work is also a good moment to talk with your collegues around the same table everything else except the actual job.
