As a Finnish person, here's a good lesson for everyone: Agreement gives place. So if I don't have an argument with the person who decides to sit next to me, on the bus, etc. even though he could sit anywhere else, I don't care. And in reality, each of us sometimes has to stand or sit, close to another person, so having to sit or stand next to another person is really a small concern in the end.
I was once on a 747 combi (cargo + passengers) by KLM, JFK to AMS, that basically had no passengers... air staff basically said before take-off: "ignore your ticket seat, just stay at the same side of the plane until after take-off" (so the pilots don't need to redo the math)... Best transatlantic trip I've ever had 😄 Of course, the dutch understand us nordics better than most. I had dinner, 6 proper hours of sleep and a wonderful breakfast, plenty of space, before landing in Amsterdam... in economy! Guess the staff knew that if we were fed and all, those few of us on board would sleep most of the trip, so they could relax.
Regarding Navalny, I know you reside in Finland but unless you already have an opinion... I would stay away from the topic... he was not exactly pro western either... but of course, opposition to the current RU administration is always good. But I'll advise you to weigh your words before putting your hand into that beehive.
Yes, I would definitely give the dude a good glance while moving to another seat. I wouldn't do anything more than that, though. It's not worth it. I guess the car parking thing is a little bit similar, but not completely. Personally I dislike it when someone does it, but I also believe I understand why some people might do it. They could feel like the parking lot must be filled in an orderly manner, so if there's one "starter" car there, the second car must be parked next to it, and so forth. Doing it like that actually does allow the maximum amount of cars to be parked, especially if there are no drawn lines. Even if there are lines, some people will park on top of them anyway. If people park randomly and the lot starts filling up, there will ultimately be lots of arbitrary gaps not wide enough for a car.
I just put my seat down and then say very politely if needed. " sorry I just did not noticed you." and usually that is so. Not always , but most of the times XDDDDD
At least he didn't go sit next to them. I have been on quite empty plane and everyone was sitting on their designated spots but then they asked everyone to sit on specific rows to even the weight on the plane (this probably wasn't the case on this flight tbe article/X was about).
If I myself had found myself in such a situation, I would hope to be sentenced in a Finnish court. A Finnish judge would understand the situation, I would only get a conditional discharge if even that and the passenger sitting behind would sentenced, whether still alive or not, to a significant fine and he received a some years in prison for mental abuse. The situation is life and health threatening and there is no way to talk about exaggerating the emergency response in such a case. At the very least, an attempted murder is sitting close in an empty plane like that, an act carried out with firm intentions and purpose shows special cruelty and brutality, the passenger sitting behind could not possibly explain that as just an attempted manslaughter.
A Finn would've been way too appalled to snap a picture, nothing more in mind than getaway...
Hahaha!! Yep!

This is a social CRIME! (but I would definitely change seats immediately, I would not care if he thinks he smells bad 🤣)
Although I'm not from Finland, I would still move to the other side and probably stare at him like one of the comment you shared 😂

I forgot to mess with audio! Damn. I'll do better next video. Hope you manage to enjoy the video, regardless.
As a Finn, I relate to this topic. "i need my space!"... "Darn, Space Invaders...."
🤣

i woud want to have most corner place with window pleace at flights but off coure its not realistic
As a Finn I would have said something like "Saatana mitä touhua" and moved away from him.
I heard all of that in my head when reading this 🤣

I don't know about you... But my blood would be boiling! Damn
I was the only passenger on a flight from singapore to kuala lumpur. I had air hostess sitting on my lap and others hanging over my shoulders
That doesn't sound so bad to me😂😂😂
I would have reclined all the way back out of spite 😅😭
Hahaha! I understand the temptation
