Gen Z overuses the word nostalgia as a way to dismiss anything from the past. Sometimes the past was actually better or as good as you remember. Crazy idea, I know. 5 years ago, gas really was a lot cheaper. 10 years ago, people really didn't constantly argue about politics. The Ch1 map, meta and UI really were that good and simple.
I love this season so much, the loot pool is so refreshing and simple, I love how high rarity weapons, are actually rare, and I love how the heals are not everywhere like last seasons, the map is so cohesive, without pointless dead POIs, love it so much. They better not screw it up in chapter 5
@Divzieit really was. All weapons were straightforward and each had their own ups and downs. There’s not a crazy amount of confusing heals. Legendary weapons feel rewarding and special. There aren’t any crazy complex mechanics. It’s simple
Chapter 5 has everything to prove & they cannot f*ck this one up. They're at their biggest peak, they cannot afford to throw that away, especially after all the money loss in recent times.
I mostly want the pump and tac to stay, for them to not completely ignore the trap slot for another year and no over the top nonsense mythics I’m also completely over chapter 4’s regenerating movement gimmick I would like to see them to either try something new mobility wise or keep some old classics like Launchpads
Look how tiny the next map is. 8 POI and you can see how small the map is in comparison to the POI. So they are continuing the trend of small maps and (probably) fast gameplay and tons of loot, NPCs, etc. What I hope this means is that they will keep Fortnite OG as an alternative mode, as all of those people who came back, likely won't play a tiny map and a rush heavy meta. Part of me doubt this happens, though. I lost all faith in Epic to make the right calls.
Sadly og won't be staying. They said keeping it as a mode would take too much with everything they're working on for chapter 5. Maybe it comes back some day hopefully with a more permanent solution
sadly they did not listen and you can tell that by the 300k people playing builds and 300k people playing no builds that the game has taken a big dip and people do not like the new weapons and additions yet fortnite does not want to admit that the older seasons are usually better and refuse to improve by looking at the past
OG season is amazing. But here's 3 problems about this update 1. Grappler Gloves (later Kinetic blades and shockwave hammers, please don't added them, epic 🙏) 2. No polar peak 3. Annoying Rift to go's
bru im ngl they kinda fucked up with the new update, the age rating, plus the ice biome being underwelming as shit, personally i think its nice they added the grappel glove so i can finally be spiderman on the OG map but yea they shouldnt add the kinetic blade or shockwave hammer
Considering they seem to be focused on pushing these alternative game modes I wouldn't get your hopes up also launching a chapter with reused weapons would be a huge disappointment part of the reason chapter 3 s1 is so beloved by most
I love this season but its j not completly OG, personally I am really looking forward to chapter five because of all the leaks like, a train system, first person, weapon attachments, racing mode, and so much more
