Great video! I have a quick question, so I have been doing kind of like a similar thing that I learned from Shaan Kassam which is ALARM and is kind of the same principles of IDEAL. My main symptom from all of this are intrusive thoughts, specifically the thought about not being able to breathe. It's kind of like a thought loop and it's been really tough to break, however, when I get this thought I normally just try and refocus and don't use my inner voice. Do you think it's necessary to use your inner voice and be like "I accept this thought and encourage this thought to stay here" because sometimes I will but most of the time I don't. It's I get the thought, then refocus right away. Maybe this is a type of ignorance if I am not consciously accepting it? The only symptoms I have right now are these thought loops and occasional impending doom, but the thought loops have just not gone away and I am wondering maybe it's just because I don't use my inner voice?
I'm not her lol but I get very similar symptoms! I found out my "refocus" was me trying to kinda run away from the thoughts, ya know? Maybe face the thoughts at first, recognize that they're anxiety driven, use the inner voice you mentioned to accept and then feel safe to move on and refocus. I guess when it come to thoughts, we gotta give ourselves some time to face them first.
Shaan also helped me a lot during my recovery!! I would say that the ultimate goal of your response is to not engage so id say you don’t have to welcome the thought to stay “too much” if that makes sense. Think more neutral! Just let it be there and your response can even look like “thinking I can’t breathe. Ok just thought. Nothing I need to do. Move on!” Whatever it takes to not go into the what ifs, explaining yourself, & other engagement. The goal of recovery isn’t to get symptoms to go away, rather to be able to sit with discomfort and not let it control you! Check out my brand new recovery guide 2.0 it’s over 50 pages and includes worksheets! It will be extremely helpful for you I think! Panictopeacecommunity.com - I released it last night!

did you have to work while recovering. also did you make any progress when takong medication or only afterwords
I did have to work (I was working for a software company from home full time.) I did make progress recovery wise while trying meds so if you are on them you can still work towards recovery! Meds did not work for me in general though and I got off of them. I have a section on this in my new recovery guide! Check it out - panictopeacecommunity.con
Er, googleing, reddit (did not even know what that was until i had severe anxiety.) you tubeing.Alllll the testing, Chiropractor natural method ,spent thousands of dollars on this crap. Can't believe this is my journey too.
Yesss I was diagnosed with BVD. Still not right even with the prism
Hi emilee . I do everything . I travel and go on holidays.. i do all my tasks but these symptoms take a toll and hamper a performance.. but it's the way to move ahead .. I guess.. what do you think .
Hi! That’s awesome that you’re out living your life 👏🏼 my next question would be HOW are you doing those things? What I mean is, is your response correct in regard to those symptoms while you’re out? Or are you white knuckling, 5 F’ing, etc.?
@emileeandbg Hi Emilee, I know i do gt frustrate sometime . Thinking about when symptoms will go away..I focus on symptoms , I know it's not complete acceptance .
This is the thing that is bothering me the most 7 months now. Did your eye problems go away?
is it normal to have high symptoms during periods and ovulation?
Absolutely! I have a video about that specifically ☺️ Why Anxiety Gets Worse Around Menstrual Cycle & What To Do (Anxiety, DPDR, Panic Recovery) th-cam.com/video/u9IkDH7wwSo/w-d-xo.html

This has been a constant year for me and the dpdr has been 2 yrs smh 😢
Have you been using our recovery guide? As long as your response is correct & consistent then the symptoms will eventually fade If you haven’t downloaded the guide yet, make sure to do that asap! panictopeacecommunity.com/
@ I just came across your TH-cam channel maybe a few months ago and try to but I guess I lean on my own ego thinking I can do it myself.
Unless you address the underlying factors there is a high likelihood of relapse at some point sadly
Totally. We like to think of using the IDEAL response as the tool to get (and stay) out of the anxiety cycle, but once you’re out of the cycle some life adjustments might need to be made in order to not keep falling back in!

I felt so off for a month. Total out of body, anxiety, feeling drunk or high, dizzy, etc. Got a clear scan and blood test and was reassured! So for like 2 weeks I felt so much better and now the last 3 days I have felt off again and tired and it’s so discouraging. I’m so worried it’s something the doctor didn’t find because it feels so weird and not good! :( Do you think this could be ddpr?
@@MarissaJeromemusic it sounds like it could be based on what you’re saying! If you want - schedule a 1 on 1 and we can chat in depth and come up with a plan. Hi Emilee, I really wish I could speak to you in person. Your story is the only one I’m holding on to so that I keep going. I also have POTS which makes it so much worse for me to differentiate what’s the POTS and what’s anxiety as I’ve had anxiety my whole life with trauma. My nervous system is definitely broken and I’m just so down and out trying to figure out what is going on with my body. I have chronic stress symptoms , it’s horrible and I pray everyday that if this is the cross I must carry that Jesus will give me the strength because this is not easy. I have the same story as you, injectables, COVID and surgery as well as postpartum so it’s a lot . Please pray for me

So happy that I found you! I’ve lived with anxiety for 30 years off and on. Worked my way out of it multiple times over my life. Lived the last 18 years with an alcoholic husband who fell to his death 6 months ago. In the last month the old anxiety and dizziness has set in again and I’ve actually been alone in my house for a week. So exhausted and dizzy and can’t even get to the shower. After reading your guide book, I’m taking that shower today and leaving my house! My daughter is coming home for Thanksgiving and I’ve got to get it together before she gets here and it scares her to see me like this. Such a hard place to be in right now! 😢
Soooooooo proud of youuuuuu!❤
That’s amazing, and I hope thanksgiving went well!! I’m sorry about your husband - our family will keep you guys in our prayers 🙏🏼
