Wow! You got a great deal on Marisol's collection. Thanks for the warning about the writing chair, I will keep it out of kitty's reach! She has already tried out the bed. Luckily I heard her jump up into it and took her out right away. My writing desk does already have a crack on one of the spindles but it's only really noticeable up close. The clothing press is like new! I feel very lucky. Thank you for watching. 🥰

I'm so happy you enjoyed seeing me unpack this special vintage haul. I am so pleased with how nice a shape everything is in except for the cracked school desk but I hardly notice it. I passed on a big Addy haul once that was a good deal also and always regretted it. That's why I had to get this set. I will try and find your Addy haul video. 😍

Hello! Thank you for your questions. The answer is yes to both. The new box and the new journal both have magnetic closures. I think they are very nice. I was a little disappointed to not get the old box actually but I like the large window on the new one. Which box and journal style do you prefer? Do you have a favourite MapleLea character?

@@CherishedDollFriends I have not yet gotten the new box or journal yet but hopefully this coming holiday or my birthday.. the dolls I got are Charlsea (love at first sight) when I saw her in online catalog. Taryn loved her outfit the butterflies and Alexi the moto jacket I was sold. Oh, she is from Toronto, Cabbagetown. I don’t live in Canada but the U.S. I don’t think those boots are Maplelea I don’t think they would make plastic boots. Rubber like.Charlsea look and feel like ugs. The old boxes came into a solid box with no window and separate lid think of a large square shoebox with thick cardboard. I like windows better they look more durable and fun to use in displaying or keeping there outfits. Looking at box through the window you can tell which doll stuff in iit without opening. As for the journal I cannot wait to see the magnetic enclosure I have a planner like that and I love it so much easier to close I am terrified on the elastic snapping on the older doll journals.

Thanks for sharing the dolls you have! I have just ordered Charlsea because she is closest to me in my Province of BC! She was also on sale for black Friday with no box and a different outfit. I can't wait to get her. I only have Taryn and Saila so far. 😊
