Fixing up a thrifted, Velvet Doll from the Beautiful Crissy doll family

It's fun to find vintage dolls at the thrift store but it doesn't have to be this way! Let's save these precious dolls for future generations to enjoy and appreciate. (silent parts are where I removed copyright music)

You need a wonderful job on your Velvet restoration! 💜 She turned out just beautiful, especially her hair! I think Ideal dolls are really some of the cutest and most unique dolls ever made. I recently did a restoration on two Tiffany Taylor dolls (video hopefully coming next week) and it was so much fun. Do you have any other dolls made by Ideal, other than the ones you showed in this video?

I have an original Velvet that I got as a child. The dress you have there IS the original dress, but ya the shoes are not The original shoes are purple and I still have mine. Sadly, I cut the bangs on my doll and she looks terrible, and I really have no way to fix it I may shampoo and condition her hair tho, because your doll looked so good afterwards Thanks!
