oh, I loved this, and thank you so much for the shoutout! 🙂 Congratulations on getting so many subscribers so quickly; I think your videos are such great quality, and definitely relaxing. We have a lot of doll interests in common as well as You Tubers we like and watch. I haven't yet mastered making shorts, so hopefully I'll be able to do that this year.
I'm actually trying to NOT add more dolls to my collection this year, unless and until I'm able to let some of them go (which isn't easy for me, haha). I was lucky to find my two authentic antigue dolls for an incredibly low price at a doll show because they had issues. (each one was only $25!!). I would say that the majority of my dolls were purchased very inexpensively because I was so lucky to find so many at thrift stores and Facebook Marketplace. I do love your dolls and your esthetic!

LOL It sounds like you got a great deal on the antique dolls! I am always on the lookout for them, but I am very picky. My three were lucky finds on FB marketplace and I found one at an antique mall. Hi Cheryl, what a lovely video!!! All your dolls are kept very well. If collectors can’t display well (neat and tidy) then their collections should remain small. I have 9- 18” dolls and that’s my limit for my shelf. 😅 Love that last pic of your cat and the dolls. He certainly displays well too😂❤

I loved this! I'm so glad you decided to start your channel. I agree with others - being your authentic self is so important. In life in general, but especially if you have a channel because it would just be exhausting to feel like you have to only show some limited, polished version of yourself. I'm impressed with the number of shorts you've made. I know they can be "good for numbers" but so far I haven't been motivated to make any. Maybe (big maybe) I'll try them this year. To answer your question, I don't really *collect* any other dolls, but I have a couple of each of the following: Harper Iman and Hearts for Hearts.
Thank you for watching my New Years Tag video. It was my first time trying this type of video. Also it will be interesting to compare next year at this time how my channel is doing. It’s good to try new things. I find doing shorts creative and a fun way to show my silly side. There are so many different styles of shorts. Many of mine flop but I don’t mind. Usually I just make a trimmed version of a long form video but sometimes I make something specifically new for a short if I feel inspired. Take care Kristie. 😊

To answer the question you posed - While I'm a very new (but enthusiastic) American Girl collector, I also collect Rainbow/Shadow High, recently started Monster High and LOVE the Friends of Barbie dolls and really look forward to adding to all of my collections this year.
I appreciate your kind words more than you know. It means a lot. I have recently gained more interest in Rainbow High as well, and I am collecting a small amount of just my favorites. I have one brand new in box, but the rest are thrifted. I love finding them in their almost complete outfits! I also don't mind finding dolls a little rough and fixing them up. It's very satisfying.
