What do you guys think about the doppelgängers? I feel like they didn’t iron more on the lore. We only have a couple doppelgängers, Amara, Tatia, Katherine and Elena, Tom, Stefan, and Silas. I guess Katherine is the one for the 1500’s or 1600’s. I wonder what about the rest of the doppelgängers for Tom and Elena’s too. Did the doppelgänger curse get broken in season 5.

Off topic but I always thought that we never saw Lucy again because once Katherine got free from Klaus's compulsion she hunted Lucy down and killed her. That's why we only see her in the finale with the Bennett witch spirits.

I love Elena she will always be my favourite seriously people call her selfish and love Katherine for same reason and not to forget Elena was the main character of the show so definitely everything was going to be about even in s7 and s8 they have to keep mentioning her . Mostly who hates are either because of she doesn't choose Stefan or they just like another character more but their character isn't main cause be honest no one in that show is completely selfless other than bonnie but elena isn't the problem here is so typical of people the blame on main character especially female ones . Most people love Katherine even though she is selfish even though she has done worse thing but they hate elena because she act as human seriously it's just too much . Elena Gilbert is the main character of the series and the show does revolve around her and some people just hate that fact so they hate her i don't think vampires Elena was to blame either people who wanted to hate her will eventually hate her mostly it was because she chooses Damon one way or another she was Bound to get hate but that doesn't mean they aren't who loves her . I love her and will always love her .

When it comes to Lily, she bought 3 train tickets with the money she stole from Giuseppe. He found the tickets and she tried to play it off like she got it for him and the boys to go on a trip, but really she was planning to escape with them. He beat her, of course. Then later, Lily gets consumption, ends up in the hospital, and some vampire gives her blood. Lily eventually dies from consumption and becomes a vampire since she had the blood in her system and figures out that she is a ripper, so she decides she’s too much of a risk to be around her sons. That doesn’t stop her from visiting Stefan one last time. Now, none of this excuses her choosing the heretics over her sons once they were older and already turned, but I can at least understand where Lily is coming from! In the end, she does choose her sons even over her lover and even dies over it, so I like to think she had a little redemption toward the end. 🙂‍↕️

Intresting that having such parents as Esther and Mikael Klaus was rocking it as a father to Hope. Was gentle, open, loving, protective (in his overptotectivnes with Bex he said that he only would send those who fancies Hope and is not worth her to be a nun, thats progress). So as to me from TVDu best parents is Klaus & Hayley, and as weird as it is Alarick & Caroline (wanna throw up saying it)

Bonnies parents coming In Season 4 like they have any right to tell her what to do is crazy, especially since her dad became absentee because of her witch heritage. When Bonnie broke Abby's hand I was like 🎉🎉🎉.

To expand on your idea of how the writers should have had Abby fake her d3ath, I feel like the simplest way they could have done it and that would make 100% sense is to have her be on the run from Klaus. The reason that Klaus would be after her is because even though she immobilized Mikael, something Klaus was happy about, Klaus wouldn’t want her to have a chance to do the same to him, so naturally he is hunting her down. This storyline idea immediately popped into my head when you both brought this and would have loved for this to be true. Having Klaus be the reason why she thought her mom was d3ad all that time would have added even more to the hatred that Bonnie felt for Klaus, and would have made the moment she immobilized Klaus in 3x21 even more meaningful.
