Speaking of awful parents, Bill Forbes returns to town to force Tyler to turn into a wolf to break his sire bond with Klaus. Meanwhile, Damon is focused on proving Alaric's new friend, Dr. Meredith Fell, is a psycho killer. Finally, Klaus makes a big move to get the coffins back that even Crazy Stefan can't stop, but Damon leaves him a little surprise that brings the return of a familiar face.

‘girl get bangs and still be a mother’ LMAOOO
I do like how Damon wanted to look into Meredith for Alaric. Even though Damon will never miss a chance to be a smart-ass (something that makes his character so fun) he doesn't want Alaric to go through another terrible relationship. He's just looking out for his friend while also looking into the murderers. I know on rewatch we know she's innocent but viewing it for the 1st time she is a suspicious/Sketchy character.
'Hey elena,nice lake house'😂😂
yayay! thursday is the best day because it’s podcast day!
Yay Klaus wife irl is here
I too watched the entire episode flabbergasted by Abby's audacity.
As I understood, the dopplegangers are a supernatural witch phenomenon trying to make up for the deaths that were supposed to happen, so their rebirths are mostly random, not necessarily genetically connected. I think that theory that they were connected by birth and bloodlines came from Stefan when he theorized that Elena came from Katherine but he was wrong. Or at least I think that´s how it is, I could be wrong. The council though, I feel it´s an inconsistency from the writers. In season 1 it makes sense to the plot that they are ignorant about most supernatural things and they figure things out along with the audience but as seasons progress it seems that they knew much more, so much more to the point where they knew intimate details about the originals and how to kill them. It´s either most information did not get passed down to the newest generations because they died before they could say anything or just plot holes. My bet is information got lost with time because Stefan and Damon kept killing council members xD Bill and John and even Isobel knowing so much makes sense. Also Bonnie´s mum must have been super powerful to take down Mikael. Mikael however, I think had help from Esther somehow, through witches probably. That´s how he knew so much, more than Klaus even. Esther had 1000 years on the other side to talk to dead witches so she saw and knew a lot, sending messages to Mikael on where to find the doppleganger, etc. That would be more logical than him being so lucky and just finding some baby that maybe could or not be the one.
The only family that has understanding family ancestry is Gilbert cause no confusion unlike with Bonny. But in my headcanon Abby is a witch line and Bennet and Bonny does have 2 last names like Wilson Bennet but use mostly Bennet and Grams is Bennet and mother to Abby
40:43 let’s think about how Kathrine coming back to her house and finds them slaughtered and we did think that it must be Klaus as why not. It’s his signature move but what if it was Mikael and that’s what he was doing looking for descendants of Kathrine thru the baby she left. He wanted to not let Klaus to break the curse
I get why Bonnie would keep going by Bennett since her Grams was a Bennett
Abby hater till I die 🫡 like girl how do you just leave one kid and raise another 😅
I actually love the Abby plot it's just the teenage boy that she's raising that makes no sense to me
