Hill People Gear Connor v2 - A seriously good pack
The biggest drawback of the Muka and Stormbreaker is the sheer amount of pumps necessary to start it. Any other multifuel stove is good to go after 15 pumps.
🥩🔪💪
You were lucky to get one with a decent pattern, as I was. Mine is identical apart from having black pins and the small, but surprisingly utilitarian lanyard, when you work out how to use them. By far the best knife I own. Flawless
Many places I camp will not allow that around trees...have to have 1-2 inch strap to protect tree
The tree was not harmed 😊
Is there much condensation with this kind of configuration (breathing in the bag)?
@@MrCastleJohnny This is what you would do in an emergency situation unless you like testing gear like myself. It’s a cool thing to try though.
Hi. How is this stacking setup working for you 3 years later? Would you now consider a Scandinavian underquilt from war bonnet instead? I’m looking into a winter setup as well reaching into the -20c and stilll debating between the two systems. Thanks.
@@jamiejames4024 I also use the Scandinavian Lynx for my Ridgerunner and it is warm. Stacking quilts like this could have the potential to get me below -40 Fahrenheit (not tested yet) which the Scandinavian can’t do. However using the Scandinavian with a mattress could.
@@The_gear_review_channel Thanks for the feedback. Since you have experienced both systems now, if you would have to do it over again for your Blackbird XLC would you still go with the staking method or the scandinavian?. Do you find the staking method to be finicky at times and have to be readjusted often?
@@jamiejames4024 it all depends on the weather and what UQs I have. If think it’ll be lower temps then I would probably layer.
Where is you're hammock lace?
Netting?
Where can I get a backpack like that?

Those tools look really nice.(Also the video quality)Don't stop and your channel will blow up one day!💯
@@thestone4699 kind to say, my IG blew up a few years back. Maybe I’ll get lucky here. Thanks
Will you do a review on this? :)

This piece is great! The favorite of my EDC. I have the glow in the dark version. As a big handed gentleman, I find it fits better between my middle and ring finger. Look forward to grabbing more as time passes.
@@smiergen the glow in the dark looks class 🤩
Just checked the price. Is this a sick joke?
@@mattyscull5317 can u do better?
I have the Original (with tent ends), and am hoping to get the Hunter in the near future. One improvement I'd like to see is a plash palatka-style drawstring for hood utilization. There's definitely a learning curve to the system, but I really like it, and I absolutely love the mountain camo.

@@Daisy_Chain762 nice 😊
@The_gear_review_channel who's got the lightest hammocks with a net right now? I'm leaning on a dutch non wide half zip in hexon 1.0 399gs. Without suspension
@@Daisy_Chain762 at the moment, I don’t know. I’m too busy with more important tasks, to be honest.
Mann I am hungry now, I would definitely love to have some beers with you sir. I would cut veggies if I had to just to have that lol.
What’s the griddle pan you’re using?

Can I use the skare without the liner? I know its not made for this but I have the skare and it hurts with the liner because its way too narrow. I also have the tjakke mid in the same size and it fits perfectly!
@@depe6612 use it anyway it feels most comfortable for you
Does the felt liner fit the Tjakke boot as well?
@@Eucalypten it won’t fit the Tjakke
Wish they put a button on the back of the head for your head cover. I think that would be a good improvement.
It seems the exclusive and the 170 liner is the way to go.
What what's the knife you had in the thumbnail? Good review 😊
@@Olympia_Outdoors cheers! That’s a custom Victorinox with Micarta scales

Love the Warbonnet! Amazing camp … what a blessing!
Amazing knife with a great story. Thanks for sharing the narrative. I need to try an F1!
Yeah I’ll need one of those to juggle with my blackbird xlc .

Big knife was my first impression but that could be handy for splitting logs..
It’s great for that mate 😊
Nice one...the name could be re-vamped perhaps?
Love it 😊
Very cool knife
Love this one. Never fails me
Mine leaks on the pump and takes a lot of pumping to get to work.
That’s a shame
I have knives from bark river, white river, TRC, and spyderco but my fav is the F1DZ. KING
It’s an amazing knife
Does the handle hydrolyze?
Ask the maker 😎 they should know more
Love this set up
