I also like my double layer to help protect me from mosquitos in the summer. The singles...those little bastards can suck you right through. That double gives just a little extra protection from them.
Wish I was their ambassador. But I'm happy and delighted to be able to have their gear and bring it on TH-cam and Instagram. Thanks for the nice comment mate
Dude, youre the only review i found that really shows off the detail of this camo. Im going to get this for my top cover when its comes back in stock. I have two superflys and love them. Thank you for making this vid.
Thanks for this great video sir! I've just ordered my XLC and I'm really looking forward to finally having a top of the line hammock. Thanks for all the detail on the cammo, I believe that's what I'm going to order later this spring for this fall/winter.
@@The_gear_review_channel I like the minifly. I just got a used Blackbird XLC. It has the brown toggles, the net that goes 1 way and the multicam color. Warbonnet daid it was rare hammock & offered to buy it from me. They are neat hammocks. Well constructed. Glad it is ik where you are. Do you use this same setup these days?
@@livinlarge1247 I had two set ups and gave one to a friend. Have away a single XLC and 20F UQ. These days I have many shelters that I use. But when I hammock camp, I'm using the light weight double xlc with a closed cell foam mat and then inside been warmer these days I use a jerven bag extreme.
Scandinavian TQ and UQ is -25F rated and along with XLC might be that price for sure. For reference, the Western Mountaineering Puma bag -25 F costs 1200 dollars.
Good review 👍
Thanks a mil
Good job with the video. You did great with the comparison!
Thanks a mil 😀

Nice showcase of the two different hammocks. Thank you for sharing and wishing you a wonderful day. Take care and ATB.
Thank you kindly
I love the color of that, great review of whole setup, loads of information on what to use and when, keep up the great work, be safe and have fun
Thanks a mil buddy. I wanted to go into much more detail but trying to keep to under 8 minutes per videos
@@The_gear_review_channel well g
You gave a ton of information in a very short time, not like me, haha very little information in an hour video
@@AlChafeMYBACKSTEPyour videos are relaxing 😎 love em
Wish I would have selected that color instead of the one I chose
Awesome review Gav 😀👍👍 hope you're having a nice time now brother 😉👊
Thanks a mil Mike. Think I'll keep my reviews and info videos under eight minutes from now on 😅 they seem to do better.
Hope the evenings going well
Nice. I plan to be sleeping in my Hammock this weekend. Thanks for showing us. Take care.
Looking forward to the post on that one. Enjoy it ☺️

Great set up man!
Thanks a mil. I already thankfully have a replacement for the for the summer set up I sent back to my buddy.

You're welcome. That camo looks good all year.
I've hear the top cover can get a bit of condensation inside...I really don't want my top quilt to get wet
Never happened to me once where I camp at, thankfully. Curious what the weather was like at the time though?
Bet it is crazy out there with that Russian invasion these days. The hammocks look great. I will look into that Instagram.
It's okay where I am.

I can't believe how much they charge just to get the camo color. $1300 for a basic winter hammock with under and top quilt

How is it to sleep in? Is it comfortable? Do you wake up feeling good? Thanks
I enjoy the sleep in the xlc
I set the foot end about 40 higher than head end
You have to find your sweet spot with this hammock
