I know both of you may take a break from this series for a while but after you finish heaven feel I recommend either fate/apocrypha if you want some chaotic feeling or Lord El-Melloi ll for world building or fate kaleid liner prisma illya movie oath under snow if you want to see a very unique version of Shirou. (I just want to reccommended and did not mean to rush both of you or anything BTW take your time I will wait)

Yea.. the ending seemed strange to end the season with. But I highly doubt there will be a season 2 any time soon, unfortunately. 1. Like another commenter said - the manga is on hiatus on chp 38, and the anime adapted to chp 25. There's not a lot of material for a season 2 and the arc it's in isn't finished I think. 2. the mangaka first put the manga on pause since the anime got announced- 3. But then put the manga on HIATUS - due to being mad about illegal translations. The OFFICIAL ENG translations started back in Oct 2022. The scanlation group dropped the translations since. But then someone else picked it up and started translating again and making a profit out of it. (Usually, a scanlation group drops a series when an official eng translations gets announced and asks the readers to go support the official eng, which then supports the mangaka)

To be fair, what Archer experienced is true to life somewhat if you met a truly selfless person, one who always put others before himself. No one would be able to understand him. Its hard to understand someone like that because no one strives for that kind of life

The manga is currently on hiatus so 26 chapters were adapted and there are about 37/38 chapters out right now which could be enough to do a short season 2 if they wanted maybe 10 episodes but this was enjoyable to watch and maybe when the manga starts back up again a season 2 could be possible.

I'm not surprised if this anime gets a TV drama/movie adaptation down the line. Just like My home Hero (another Yazuka crime anime, give it a watch), fairly underrated show with a surprisingly good live adaptation IMO. Overall enjoyed the show and I kinda prefer this kinda romance over the typical ones.

I always felt that Shampoo was not so much crazy, but dedicated to be honorable to following the laws of her people. For all her talk, if she was psycho she would have made good an kill Akane instead of just literally brainwashing to forget Ranma. Shampoo can be tricky, dangerous, and ruthless, though she is not crazy and not a psycho. It is just in this episode she found herself in a situation where the rules she lived by and her honor conflicted with each other.

The OG anime has excellent, memorable OST, and that typical retro anime charm. However, if you do choose to watch it, please be warned that it's loaded with fillers that drop in quality considerably over time, and flanderizes most of the characters, most notably Ranma and Akane. The Ranma there is more arrogant and cocky, while Akane's tsun violence is played up to the max that sometimes make it hard to watch. As an Akane fan, it's really sad because it was like the anime made her unlikable on purpose while highlighting the other rivals. The manga chapters are also adapted very loosely and the difference from the manga is sometimes surprising, which contributes to the very strong opinions older fans have toward their characters in general 😅 It's still a good comedy to watch though but it might be better to remember that their characters there aren't exactly accurate so the experience may not be same as when you watched the remake. It's still much better to read the manga imo!
