My favourite fact would be the $100 000 windmill win.

Penny Ante and Poker Game were both great. Penny Ante was a great speed up game so you didn’t have to play double prices. Prices for Poker Game made it irrelevant. Who wants to win four IUFB prizes like that?

At least it fared better than Bullseye I & II but not as good as Double Digits and Temptation.

Next up... One of the worst pricing games of all time, Stack the Deck. Possibly worse than Joker, or even Shower Game? We'll find out!

I'd love to propose an alternative version of Three Strikes which is, IMO, still hard, but makes it slightly more win-able. At the start of the game, the contestant has a chance to guess the price of the car from the numbers they have. Any numbers they have right are on the board, and the ones they have wrong go in the bag with the strikes and the game is played from there. That would help the game get won more often, though I think it would still be very hard.

Me and the $46,573 Cadillac I did not win can confirm Three Strikes is a bitch.

I tried to watch The Star Wars special, but didn't even make it 15 minutes in before saying nope.

More fun facts...this game uses a unique sound effect when the scales are teeter tottering...also this is the 100th pricing game

Balance Game (2) has been described a variation of Permutation, which was a game played on the first run of the British version hosted by Leslie Crowther. FWIW, I don't see it.

Addational Fun Facts: During Bob's time with Balance Game II he gave away real US minted "Barker Dollars" that were used in Balance Game I as souvenirs. Balance Game I, II, and Walk of Fame are the only three pricing games to feature souvenirs.

I greatly prefer the original version of Balance Game, if only because of that version's uniqueness. The current version is essentially "Pick a Number" with an extra layer of math. Strong *meh* for me.

I've been waiting for this video. Another fact is that the display showing the price of the prize went from where the model stands to where the contestants & Bob & Drew stand.

One fact about Pocket Change is that the contestant had to guess all 5 numbers in the car. I think it was during the second playing of the game they gave contestants the first number for free.

I hate this pricing game. ...also I am mildly annoyed you enjoy this game but are quick to nag on nearly all the quick simplistic pricing games, a few I enjoy. Cover Up lacks energy. Sometimes with the wrong contestant it takes too much time. And its such a small underwhelming set piece to be trying to win a car with.

Here's an honorable mention for you. Generally once a game is played on The Price Is Right, you do not see it again for a week or so. On the Dennis James version, even less often. Yet somewhere out there, there is an episode of the Dennis James era when for some reason Double Prices was played as the first game and then later was shown again as the last game. My guess this was a rare example of a long detailed game malfunctioning before the final cut of the tape, and they had to edit in a quckie to make up for lost time.

I remember watching the premiere of that very lucky gal who won the million. It was such an intense moment because all of those Million Dollar Challenge games were ridiculously difficult, and this was like "OMG she has a really good chance!"

What about the Longhorn Network that also shutdown in 2024, because of Texas's move to the SEC

On September 23, 2021 *Grand Game* was played for $1,000,000 where the contestant started out with $100. The contestant managed to win up to $100,000 but lost when trying to pick the last item under the target price.

NewsNet was far from being neutral. They read the left biased AP news stories word for word. No editing at all. Viewers complained nonstop to all of its local affiliates about the network's TDS and anti-Trump rhetoric. Viewers often just locked the channel out of their TV channel lineup. As an affiliate, We tested this theory by just switching it off one random day and showing the tower cam instead. We got *ZERO* complaints. Only after switching the tower cam off and switching back to NewsNet, did we receive any complaints. 😳🤷‍♂️ (they wanted the tower cam back)

It's a shame this show got canceled. Apparently, it happened after a pair of injuries in a challenged called "Power Island". At least it's spinoff, Sasuke, AKA Ninja Warrior is still around as is American Ninja Warrior, although I don't think the original airs in the US anymore.

I still believe to this day this game should offer the opporutnity for multiples of the car to be won. If a player has enough money to afford more than 1 of the car, they should win duplicates of the car for however many of it they can afford - that is to say, if a player were to somehow play perfectly leaving the car price at 25 cents, pick the $2.00, $0.75, and both $0.50 envelopes to go with their starting $0.25, giving them $4.00, they should get SIXTEEN of that car. It's not like they can't budget for that as unlikely as it would be - they have given away over $100k, $150k, multiple times, and have run million dollar games, $200,000 games, on specials. A player getting reasonably lucky and hitting the $2.00 envelope even without any other, and only making a couple of mistakes, should be able to win 2-3 of the car. Golden-Road tells me I'm crazy for this but I'll die on this hill. (Same goes for being able to win three of the car in Spelling Bee if you get C, A, R, CAR, and CAR, same goes for winning multiples of the car on Lucky Seven.)

One notable fact about Pocket Change is that the probability to win the game drops significantly when the car price goes up to $1.25 compared to $1.00. This can be explained by how the only way for the dimes and nickels to matter at all (and there are 9 of those on the board, to say nothing of the two 0s) is if you get enough of them to add up to 25 cents. And to do that, you need a minimum of 3 of your 4 cards (two dimes and a nickel or three dimes). From there, at $1.00, you can still win with 5 cards (3 50-cent, 1 75-cent, 1 $2), so your odds are still not the worst if you are in that position. However, at $1.25, if you have 3 cards that only make a quarter, you can only win with either the 75-cent or $2 card. And any higher than $1.25 and dimes and nickels are basically just 0-cent cards (except the rare instance of a car price of $2.25 and getting the $2 card and 3 cards totaling 25 cents).

I watched a live taping in 2016 and this was one of games they played. The contestant ended up getting 3 nickels and a zilch. Ironically, the first spin she spun landed on a nickel. At the end, she won her showcase, designer watches and a tour of Europe package.
