Regardless of why Janice was unfortunately terminated and who ultimately made the decision, I was VERY surprised that Janice appeared on Tv to pay a lovely tribute to Bob Barker after he passed last year. NEVER thought I’d ever see Jan on Tv again.
I would like to think that Janice eventually made peace at some point and because she's was the face after Bob and before Drew and Rachel then it would make sense for her to at least acknowledge the on-air work during her time.
Technically speaking... whether it was Johnny saying $25 000, Rod saying $50 000, Rich saying $100 000 or George saying You are going to play Plinko! For a chance to win up to $1 000 000. No one has ever won the shouted top prize on Plinko
Mark: Triple Play is also a baseball term! Where the team record three outs consecutively on one play! I thought I let you know about it right here on TH-cam Channel for sure period and that's that!
That might give it as an “Honorable Mention”, “Triple Play” is based off of a baseball game where three players had tagged all three outs in a single game. And that’s why “Triple Play” where it came from. To recite from the Abbott & Costello’s baseball routine “Who’s On First?”, the first car is “Who’s On First”, the second car is “What’s On Second”, and the third car is “I Don’t Know is on Third”.
Didn't know about #5 but grateful you covered, regardless of its depressing nature. As a Jan fan since Day 1, looking forward to your take on the story.
The only thing I ever found wrong with Triple Play is that you’re trying to find the price that is the closest without going over, the easiest way to do that would just be to put 2, 3 or four prices and say which is the actual retail price of the car since the show isn’t entitled the price is almost but not quite right
Sorry, your #1 factoid is incorrect. It may have only a 13% win rate, but it is not the lowest winning price game in rotation. That honour goes to Plinko, which has never been won outright.

That and Holly Hallstrom whom is still unseen since her 2005 appearance on the Today Show.

3:45 WOW I went to 16 tapings of TPIR and got to see this game played twice and won once both in 2004!

The odds of winning Golden Road and Triple Play are each at 1 in 24.
Triple Play has a habit over the last few years to be won during the holiday season

@Musicradio77Network That's a good comment. I do love your reply. You have a nice day!
@@Musicradio77Network "and I don't care!" Oh that's for skunked shows.
Fact Fact: Triple Play was won on the TPiR 30th Anniversary Special. Had it been LOST, we would have seen the debut of $100,000 Plinko.
You can't win one or two cars, only all 3 cars
That’s why I hate this one.

I never said it was lowest winning percentage, I said it might be the rarest game played.
3 cars?!? Who needs them?!? Only one would do. And if you want to have three cars, try Most Expen$ive.
