Hi Ted, I am not aware if you know about the LastDodo website. It is part of the Catawiki organisation and it's a place where mostly collectors and small dealers can sell their stamps. There are two reasons for me to buy from this site once and a while: 1. they offer mostly less valuable stamps and is perfect for filling the gaps of missing cheap stamps. 2. you have direct contact with the seller and communication is running through personal email. unfortunately most of the transactions are done by bank transactions, which for me, with a dutch bank account is very easy and for free, but for people from abroad like the USA, it is more expensive. But all by all a buyer friendly website!

Hello Ted. Very informative video. On Stamps2Go there is a refine search button on every country page that is very helpful. There you can expand the listings per page up to 500, show stamps with images, and filter format, grades and types. There is also a custom price filter. For sellers the fees are very reasonable, as they do not charge for listings or a store fee. The only fee you pay is if an item sells and the fixed shipping fee helps keep pricing equitable. However, they don't have the presence of the other large websites, which can make it difficult to find buyers. All the best to you.

Hi. I'm a 62-year-old collector from Puerto Rico. I've been collecting intermittently since I was 10 years old. I now specialize in collecting topics: World War 2 (including Third Reich and occupations issues), Space Exploration (emphasis on manned space missions), Puerto Rico (under Spanish dominion). Since I just "discovered" your TH-cam page, I might be asking for things which you might have already covered in your videos before. I'm looking forward to starting to print my customized topical album pages, but I'm still considering options before starting the actual printing. I would like to receive advice on the best way or most recommended way to lay out my albums, since I'm specializing in issues about historical events. Should I organize my pages by years, by events, by historical figures or just by stamp series. For example, some WW2 issues commemorate various battles in just one issue. Should I mount on my pages the whole issue or should I "split" the issue and arrange each stamp belonging to a specific battle or a specific time within the conflict. The same happens with the Space Exploration topic: some issues depict stamps honoring various missions within the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs (just to use as an example stamps related to US missions), not to mention Russian or other countries' missions. I just subscribed to this page, so I'm hoping maybe sometime in the future you could address this topic and offer some useful advice. Thanks for this great page. Keep on the good work. Dr. Freddie A. Wow, a lot of construction work over there in Madeira ! And a pretty neat assortment of 1970s commemorative covers from the U.S. and UK as well. Keep it up, and see you on the next one. Greets from GER, U.

Hi Uwe. Yes, construction cranes are a common sight here. I just hope they don’t overbuild.
