Hi Ted, another great video. The Kaiseryacht SMS Hohenzollern series are also my favorite German empire stamps - having spend my childhood in Hamburg, west Germany in the late 1960s to early 1970s, these stamps were so so attractive but far out of reach for a kid. Now, I’m getting old enough to spend some extra pocket money for stamps and trying to fulfill my youth dream. I still have some holes in my collection- the really high CV ones - but watching the Kaiseryacht stamps always reminds me of the gold old days I’ve spent in Hamburg. Looking forward to another episode. Take care !

Nice choices, Ted. Maybe you could tell us where did you purchase them (not neccesarily where you bought each one, but he places or webs you use to buy stamps) That could help us in knowing other possibilities... Congrats for the video, it sounds fantastic ;)

Hi Ted, as a novice collector of anything Ottoman/Turkiye, I've always been intrigued about foreign post offices in the Ottoman Empire, for example like the German issues you showed at the end. Would be great if you could shed some light on the whole concept of foreign postal issues in host countries. Yet another great video! Thanks!

Mistakes are normal, I made a lot. Nothing to worry about, this is part of stamp collecting.

If I’ve said it once, I must have said it at least twice (counting this time): A person just can’t have too many Kaiser’s yacht stamps.

I am happy for your visa. Regarding the Canadian stamp that a hinge has distorted its surface, by making a mask out of paper or thin cardboard with a hole the size of the hinge, it might be possible to reform it by applying pressure with books. Ha a good day Ted.

Glad to know that I am not the only one who makes mistakes every now and then when buying stamps. As always another really great video Ted, Have a wonderful week!

Thanks for another great video! Lessons learned, loud and clear. I tend to do purchases pretty quickly, and don't always study each stamp in the purchase's image. Now will also look out for over cleared scanning of the stamps. Beautiful stamps. I LOVE the African stamps, but especially those from the German colonies with the magnificent ship images.
