The light seems to work well in the dark cave. I recently insulated the crawlspace underneath The Ole Church and I agree, not the light for that. Cheers Mike!
That’s an interesting head lamp/light. Great Review. Found you on Steve’s channel by the. Chat again soon!
Thanks for watching! All purpose headlamps probably don’t exist!
This is ant pile so is a ant hill it has 1567884 ants
I struggle to keep mine going but I'm determined to get it right👍.
Use hard wood, don’t overfill, enjoy the moment! Really appreciate you watching! Let me know how it goes! Thanks!
Seems like a good enough for what I do also. Thanks
I’ve had those fancy lights and they always come on in the wrong mode. Probably operator error but I like simple to use stuff. I love high tech at home but not in the woods! Thanks for watching!
Very good introduction
Thank you! I’ll check out your lamps! Thanks for watching!
@@MIKESWILDWORLD I’m more than happy to assist you!
Outstanding presentation man! Looks and sounds so professional
Thank you! I appreciate you appreciating the effort! Thanks for watching!
Howdy Mike ! MIKES World Rules !
Too kind! Thanks Steve! Your sale finds are awesome! Love the presentations!
👍👌👌
I really appreciate you! Thanks!!
I've never had a need for a red or green light, or SOS signal so simple lighting is all I need.. looks like a good deal
Thanks Chuck! That’s what I’m talking about! 👍
I have a couple of flashlights from Coast. I can't say I have any complaints on them. They have been around a few years now living on top of my refrigerator with out issues.
It’s hard to find lights not full of gadgetry now days. I guess that’s why I like this one. Thanks for watching!
Came across your channel today! Very nice videos. Happy thanksgiving
Thank you! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving! I really appreciate your kindness.
Looks like a great light
Simple, easy to use. Thanks for watching!
1) DON'T OVERFILL! No wood above top jets.
I like to let it burn down a bit before cooking. Gives a more even heat. Thanks for watching!
@@MIKESWILDWORLD 👍
Fire in the hole!
Jerk start fire maker! 😂
Nice recipe
Those Bourbon flavored sausages cooked in hush puppy mix where excellent. Give them a try and let me know what you think! Hope you enjoyed seeing some vintage Coleman equipment. Always fun remembering some of the good old days. Thanks for watching!
A little dirt in a pancake you never served in the Army for sure…that’s just local flavor. Have fun stay safe.
Thanks for watching.
That would be great to have the place to yourself! ☺️
So quiet. It was like they made it just for me. Thanks for watching!
You did a great job
Thank you! I really appreciate you watching!!
No, Trangia is not made in the same Chinese factories as the copy cats!!! They are made in Sweden!
What I said was, “Trangia has there own little thing going on. But all the copy cats are made in China. “ I do appreciate you watching and I do appreciate you commenting. All the best to you!
Nice to get out regardless, Mike. Regarding gennies, besides medical purposes ya shouldn't need a gennie all night. I mean even as far as freezers go, a few hours a day should do it. Agreed with the electrical aspect of it. Another reason to ease back in, in case of dropped neutrals. Thats great for killing compressors and thermostats.
@@TNBushcrafter Exactly!
Glad all is well,as always enjoyed the video. May God bless.
I really appreciate you watching! Why aren’t you asleep, wait, why am I not asleep? Went to bed early. Anytime I run the chainsaw, I go to bed early. 😁
Good evening Mike , are you ok ?
Wow you got some weather
We are good. Thanks. Great to your videos!
That fat wood tree is just teasing on you. 😂
You know it is. You know when it does fall, I’ll probably be sad it’s not still there standing guard. 🤔
Amazing - take care
Thanks Dave! You too!
👍have a great day and stay wild 👍
You too! Like your videos! Thanks for watching!
Awesome to have the place to yourself. Thank you for sharing this with us, Mike. Stay safe and stay warm
It IS a good experience! Hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Making the best of bad situation. Good eating
Do the best you can!! Thanks for watching!
Unusual combo on the wrap.. Looked delicious. Just got back from Turkeyfoot.. Your right about the fresh air !!!
I been watching y’all up there eating and lighting lanterns. Good crowd. Hate I missed everyone. Those Hawaiian Tortillas make everything taste good!! Get you some!! I forgot my Chuck tripod and had to hand hold my camera and frying pan at the same time. Thanks for watching Chuck!!
@@MIKESWILDWORLD Never miss one of your videos.. Never know what you'll be up to ! Last one convinced me to buy a stove.. Showed it off at the meet-up and 2 more guys put it on there Amazon list...lol
Mike, Where do you get those packets of kraut? Thankfully, we were mostly unscathed here in my part of central North Carolina
Alan I got mine from Amazon, after my wife found some on a condiment stand for hotdogs. It’s good stuff! Thanks for watching!
They stock the kraut at Sam's little snack bar. I SURELY wouldn't be grabbing em for my little bag from there though. Lol
@TNBushcrafter That’s where we got the one. Then I ordered some. Thanks.
I found a 3 burner at a salvation army. My dad always used propane stoves when we went camping. So I don't have childhood memories of these. But, my kids sure will.
That’s what it’s all about. A life well lived. That’s what daddy’s are made for!
Had to buy one of those gas stoves...lol Just did a video on it !!!!
Nice!!
"Oops i tripped" *falls face first on the anthill*
That would be bad! I’d be getting up real fast! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing 😊
No, Thank You for watching! Always appreciate hearing from the well informed!
Gonna get that gas stove😮👌
You will love it! Thanks for watching!
@@MIKESWILDWORLD 👌
Thanks for your review, I’ve just ordered a box of 24 from Amazon ‘Merica for delivery to me over the pond in the UK 🇺🇸🇬🇧👍😀
That’s awesome! Thanks for watching the video. 😀
I use a Solo Stove Lite and always light the wood from the top. I do it the easy way. Put my sticks in the stove so they are below the top side holes. Then light a match size piece of Fat Wood ( Lighter Knot ) and lay it on top of the sticks. When that match size stick of fat wood burns down I have a fire going. Two other things I can do with the Solo Stove lite. The ash pan in it works as a alcohol burner for a quick ( 3 minute ) fire. For a longer , wood free , fire I set a Evernew Titanium alcohol burner in there. I use Denatured Alcohol when I am not using wood.
You are so right Sparkey! Great way to have a stove and enjoy real fire!
I hate smoke, I try to manage the "thermal mass" of my fires to keep smoke at a minimum. I like your recommendations, Just ordered FIRE BOOMS from Amazon , 24 pack for $21 with tax, BEST, also ordered the Bulin, Double BEST
That’s awesome! You gonna love that Bulin! And lighting your big couldn’t be easier. When I’m in a popular park, it’s hard to find anything to burn. So this kinda solves that problem. Thanks for watching!
11:14 This narrative right here from this point forward is gold. I had a feeling that that's what was happening with a gas fire, but this description is perfect. Thank you
One of the best stove videos on TH-cam. In my opinion, congratulations. This is a really, really good one. Thank you mike
I appreciate that! I like your opinions! 😀
Thank you!
Good morning Mike from Oregon. Thank you for sharing Your knowledge. This is information that I really need in the pacific northwest
Wow. I really like the montage of all the past videos. That's impressive
Wow deodorant I had no idea😮
4:15 Wow, this is a incredible stove. I love the burner. Can I ask what stove this is
Thanks Winkleman!! Yea I bet wet wood is everywhere! If it will burn, I’ve probably put in my gasifier. Thanks for watching Steve! Love your finds and light ups. All the best!
@doinsngoins The gas stove is a Bulin BL100-BL15.
Multi fuel gasification stoves are great, wood, alcohol, solid fuel, gas, all work. Gaaa, isn’t that cool. I gather thumb sized twigs, the correct length is important, holding them together, wrap them and insert them, vertically into the stove, like a Swiss log. They burn nicely and don’t need to be tended so quickly.
That’s the best part about the right fuel loaded correctly. You can cook 15-20 minutes on one load. Then EAT! Thanks for watching!
Mike YOU ARE AMAZING MAN….. Another awesome find and share 👍🏻 I was amazed with the Brute 🤯 I bet that was a good smelling 🔥 I been thinking about you and wondering what you been up to and tinkering in 😉…. Awesomeness as always. ❤️🔥🙏🏻🤟🏻
Thank you Miss Donna! I was hoping you would get to check out the video but you should be sleeping at 2 am. 😂 I fought with my computer for hours to get this one out. It’s got a check up scheduled for tomorrow. Those fire starters are really cool. I finally got to go back to my remote property so I made a video. Glad you enjoyed it! Stay Awesome! Thanks again! 😀
@@MIKESWILDWORLD this technology stuff overloads my little brain 🧠 with all the issues they seem to have 🥴 sure hope they get yours back up and running like an Olympic champion, or even better. Smoothly and efficiently.
Thanks!
Why burn from the top down?
Thank you. You are the first person to ask that. If the fuel is lit from the bottom it all catches fire at one time, creates a huge flame too big to cook on and consumes the wood very fast. Burning from the top is kinda like a large candle that burns down slowly and delivers a constant flame as it goes down making the wood last longer. Thanks for asking, and thanks for watching!! 😀
Thanks for sharing. 😀👍✝️
You are welcome! Thanks for watching!
Those fire starters look awesome. Thanks for letting us know about them
I really liked them. All natural is what I liked. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a good thing to keep in your pack. Thank you for showing this to us, Mike. Stay safe and stay cool
I think you are right! I will keep some in my pack! Thanks for watching and letting me know!
Those are a great fire starters
They are! With no added chemicals, or weird stuff. Thanks for watching and letting me know!
Nice…Have fun stay safe.
Will do. You do the same and super thanks for watching!
For a moment there I thought you had a smoke bomb. 😂
They look like it! Maybe next time!😀 Thanks for watching Bear!
Welp, I'm impressed. And I love the shape of them. So I put some in my amazon wishlist! Thanks!
Wish list is good! They’ll give you a discount! 😀 I appreciate you watching. Thanks for letting me know!
