    Greetings from Denver CO. Enjoyed this video a lot. Big thumbs up. A nice break from all the “latest gear” videos that seem to take over the airwaves. I hang on to my favorite items and don’t mind a few extra ounces of weight to carry them on my travels.

      I look at all this Titanium and wonder if it even matters! I have a small piece or two but don’t see much advantage! Did you see my hundred year old “cold handle “ pan. I love that thing.
      Thanks for being kind and I really appreciate you watching!

      @@MIKESWILDWORLD yes. It is cool. Thin and light. Great for frying things and pancakes. Love it. You can just toss it in the fire for a good cleaning if needed also.

    I think the older gear was made to last a lifetime! Amazing stuff! Bruce and Otis

      The older stuff was made with more thought it seems. That flip out handle on the fry pan works really smooth, still!! Thanks for watching!

    Nice Coleman equipment. You don't get bourbon flavored vienna sausage up here. Thank you for sharing your lunch with us, Mike. Stay safe and stay cool

      I know the meat is probably what came off the floor but that dark Bourbon like flavor really is good! Thanks for watching! All the best!!

    Good thing about tramping through the woods on a rainy day is you probably won’t run into anybody else. No food touched the ground??? 😂 That kettle is awesome. I wonder if you could use that filter/diffuser cup insert to hold coffee ...

    • @MIKESWILDWORLD
      @MIKESWILDWORLD  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I know you are disappointed that I didn’t eject anything from the pan this time! 😀
      Don’t worry, the summer is not over.
      The holes in that infuser a fairly large so you need a large grind.
      Thanks for watching Chris! 😀

    Loving the old stuff for sure. Just had popcorn yesterday in an old spin top EZ popper at camp. Didn’t film it so may have to make more today. lol. I’ll have to look for those sausages

    • @MIKESWILDWORLD
      @MIKESWILDWORLD  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I saw that popper in your other video and would love to see it in operation.
      That’s a true piece of history. Growing up we made popcorn in mama’s stock pot. A few pieces always got out when we checked it!😀 We didn’t know about the steam needing to get out! Just imagine five country boys standing around mama at the stove waiting on popcorn like it was a new invention!😀 Some good times!! Thanks Chuck!

    Love the little cookset. Pretty awesome Mike! Good job on the stove grill too. Solves your problem with the pot quite well.
    Best to ya

    Looks like you had a great day out despite the rain. 🌧
    I have a Coleman cook kit in the same bag, but I think it's the one person kit.
    I also have the kettle and have made many cups of coffee in it over the years, but I had no idea of it's age until now.
    Great video, my friend.
    Thanks for sharing, and God bless.

      Thank you! I did have a great day! It was peaceful except for the loud rain.
      Since I backpack almost completely the kit is too big. I still love it though.
      Thanks for the kind words and for watching. Really appreciate it!!

    That’s a great old Coleman cook set and canteen. I’m a collector (and user) of vintage camping gear, primarily cookware. I’ve got the old Palco 414
    (4 person, 14 piece set) set my father bought for family camping trips back in the early 70’s. The price sticker is still on the box and if I remember correctly, he paid less than $20 for it back then 😳
    Thanks for the great video 😊

    That's some nice vintage gear. I hear you picked up a couple of nice Coleman plates recently. Hopefully one of these days, you'll be able to get out when it's not raining.

    • @MIKESWILDWORLD
      @MIKESWILDWORLD  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I did find some Coleman plates! Did some digging in a side of road red building the said CLOSED. Nope, they where open.
      I thought about putting together a montage of my rain event moments. Might be interesting!
      Thanks for watching Chris!!

      @@MIKESWILDWORLD I think we need to stop feeding Chris's Coleman addiction! I picked him up a very nice vintage Coleman cooler a couple of weeks ago. I will be delivering it in a couple months. Just may be filled with some Wisconsin goodies. I will make sure the Chris actually "shares" this time. 😉👍🏻😎
      I think a Rain montage would be interesting.

    Cool cook set. I have to know, where did you find the bourbon viennas? I feel like I need to experience these. 😅

      Usually limited supply at Walmart!
      They are the ParkPlace of Vienna Sausages!! 😀

    I’ve carried those Vienna sausages in my pack as backup food just in case. Great recipe on the sausages.✌️I don’t know if you’ve used one, but the old school Boy Scout mess kit is a nice setup.
