The tall, long and skinny looking helicopter is called a SKYCRANE and it did a heck of a lot more than just lift a container(shipping type) that you thought. Light tanks and other armoured vehicles, artillery pieces to various modules such as control rooms, HQ module to even triage units. Some are still flying today mainly for fire fighting and some rescues. It is a unique unusual and bloody desirable machine. I would love to own and fly one.

the plane at 26:49 is a Cessna O-2 Skymaster its an observation plane used to locate downed pilots during the vietnam war, it has a pusher and puller engine. it is missing its tail and wings.

That attachment on the ground is for mine clearing it goes on the front of a tank and rolls where the tracks are going to travel

Motor on the front and back is a means of maintaining laminar flow over the wings but having the thrust benefits of a twin engine

I would have pressure washed it with a degreaser followed by the acetone... Yes it will flash rust but that's ok it won't hurt it... Then you hit it with a mild acid and a self etching primer followed paint work

first I've seen of the mini jeep and I'm glad I found it! for placing the brake in a better location you may be able to mount it on the trans and extend the lever making it look more like a drift car hand brake.

A parts auction and scrap only

Very cool auction! That big camel back drill laying on its side with all of that horrible, cobbled guarding on it looked like a W.F.&J Barnes brand because I have the 23" model that I have completely rebuilt. Mine was built around 1900 complete with power down feed and deep reduction planetary drive. I powered mine with an inverter duty 2hp motor on a VFD drive to give it variable speed. They are a flat belt machine, but they are very sturdy drills, and very heavy being made to last a lifetime. I advise anyone who is in need of a heavy shop drill to buy one if it is a complete machine because finding missing parts for them is difficult. The benchtop models like the one you looked at are also excellent machines and fun to use. The drill bits you bought are Morse taper, which is common to those drills and most other machine tools. Good to see someone bought the old drag to use and not for scrap. I used to run one of those at my previous job pretty often to clean out ponds. I hope somebody saved those drills from the scrap!
