4x4 mini jeep gets some paint! Build part 8!

Today we do some sketchy at best body work and blast some paint onto the hand built mini Jeep. We also do all the wiring and tie up some loose ends. We’re almost ready to test drive finally!

To reverse the switch cut the tab off the switch cover mount hole and install the switch upside down

Good thinking, I did end up ordering a kill switch from a motorcycle that goes on the steering wheel

I would have pressure washed it with a degreaser followed by the acetone... Yes it will flash rust but that's ok it won't hurt it... Then you hit it with a mild acid and a self etching primer followed paint work

I did consider something like this, but was worried about the flash rust.

@@weldingandwheeling9883 the self etching primer is a must on structural steel as it allows the paint to bond better (it has a mild acid in the primer for etching)
