Far Cry 2 was a MAN's game. Everything that's come after was nerfed down into a kid's game to try and garner "the wider audience". What we NEED is a remake/remaster that respects the original tone and setting, but that gives us a ton of QoL improvements and working stealth mechanics. Mebbe add some co-op too.

FC4 is FC3 on steroids!

I bought Primal when it came out, it stayed on the shelf, gave it another go a couple of days ago. Went to the kitchen and I can see my neighbours tv from across the street. Playing Primal! How weird is that?

1:08 Jason has become more appreciated because we havent had a better protagonist. Ubisoft has given 0 effort in the backstory and main story of the games after Far Cry 3 and 4. Far Cry 5 and 6 have been very big cash grabs and i think Far Cry 4 was too but not to the exctent of 5 and 6 because we still got a protagonist and antagonist with good character.

He's prectically the most annoying far cry protagonist. His brain dead scheme of working for the enemy luckily only made him loose a finger. He was far too edgy that his bro literally got "caned" even more, because of his big mouth. He's lucky that the wing suit prop that Willis swiped from a movie actually worked, else he'd have probably gotten stranded in the middle of the sea if it were in real life. He's nowhere near rex colt

I think the whole self help guru comparison at the end isn’t the right one, I think most people will resonate walking their own path when it comes to their parents, and shifting away from what your parents want for you, to instead focus on what you ultimately want for yourself.

I played FC3 exact release year when i was only 15 years old. Back then i was surprised by the game especially the story, even now when i think of it i say it’s a masterpiece and none of the next from franchise is the same, NONE! This game was wrote perfectly and the gameplay was also peak. I started playing it again now which I’m 26 yo now and i can say in this age it’s even hits differently beside of the nostalgia! I lived with the game and i always think of Jason and the story of Rakyat and whatever happened there shaped my personality when i was a kid!

Jason was always my GOAT 😤. It's awesome seeing people finally appreciate him.

Not trying to be edgy, just brutally honest: We all have Jason Brody and Vaas in us. Not the magical level of competence of course. But the seed is definitely there, deep down. However, make no mistake - there are no good endings, if you'd follow that path. Excellent writing, can't praise this Game enough.

We need far Cry 3 remake

Makes you long for other Far Cry games set in different historical eras. I really want a Far Cry game set in Medieval Scotland and 1800's Colorado.I really don't want another Far Cry set in a modern jungle environment again.

I thought the map system was really good and added to the realism of the game. I was very disappointed to see it gone from the later games.

This isn't necessarily a jab at your video, but why is it that every far cry video essay has got to ripping apart every flaw of the newer games, but also be treating far cry 3 like its the holy grail. People are extremely quick to criticize every game after 3, but I have never seen one video that dissects far cry 3's flaws as much compared to how much flack the other games get.

Finally someone who appreciates Jason Brody ! I remember when i played The Game for The first time in 2012. Even then Jasons Journey in this Game grabbed me and There‘s one scene in particular that is burned into my mind ever since: Jason returnes to Citras Temple and all the rakyat cheer him on and Jason bumps his fist into the air celebrating his New found identity. Sadly he is overshadowed by Vaas Like every one else in the Game. Jason is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time and i even have the tatau on my arm that looks exactly Like in the Game.

I'd argue Far Cry 5 doomed the series with how it milked the franchise and gave too much freedom to players. Ruined progression and watered down takedowns

It's not enjoyable, and VERY tedious. If you can't make a game enjoyable, or even compelling then all other merits are moot; in my opinion. If you can't keep the player engaged, then it's irrelevant.

When I first played far cry 2 it was on a PS3 when I got it with the far cry collection which had 2,3, and blood dragon I thought that 3 was better but I still liked to recently I started playing two again and now I can safely say that 2 is definitely the best in the franchise especially after playing pretty much every far cry game except for primal

I bought my first PC just because of this game it's a 10/10 game the best in the franchise

With all respect to the far cry fans but fuck a remake or another sequel that i want a rayman game🙏😭
