Why Football’s Biggest Clubs Are Changing
Why is Manchester City struggling? This might have been a shock in the 2024 season, with one of the world's best teams struggling in the Premier League after winning it four times in a row.
Billionaire owners, shadowy deals, and outdated one-man management systems are giving way to a new era: the rise of the Head Coach. In this evolving landscape, the Head Coach focuses solely on football, while backroom staff take on the club's broader responsibilities. Clubs with outdated ownership models are starting to fall behind.
This shift is redefining how football's biggest clubs operate-and those that fail to adapt might face serious trouble ahead.
This is a video about Manchester City, Vitesse Arnhem, Roman Abramovich, Manchester United, the Glazer family, Premier League clubs, Manchester City struggling for form, the future of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arne Slot, Ruben Amorim, the new Head Coach of Manchester United, the Etihad Complex, and Manchester City youth players.

    This whole video is alot of speculation and conjecture and desperately grasping at straws to push a narrative. I get that you hate City and you hate Pep and wanna dance on their grave but I don't think City are nearly as down and out as you wanna imagine maybe this season yeah the league is out of reach but nothing is gonna happen with the 115 charges City will more than likely be right back to normal next season meanwhile hEaD cOaCh Michael Van Gerwin will struggle to replace Mo Salah VVD and Trent no doubt he deserves credit for overachieving and lighting a new spark under this group but anyone who thinks this is something other than one last hurrah is fooling themselves. If you support Liverpool enjoy it while it lasts cuz it wont, and the hot takes in this video are gonna age like spoiled milk

    I'm not sure I would call the Glazers incompetent as they're number one priority seems to be squeezing every penny they can out of the club to make themselves slightly richer. I don't think that investing in the club was something they ever planned to do as it would run counter to their main priority.

    • @SAMUTHESAMBABALL
      @SAMUTHESAMBABALL 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Some of the stories that have come out of Manchester United are absolutely insane. They don't sent MUTV commentators to away games to save money, painting the stadium Liverpool red, Matchday staff getting paid so little they have to work for Man City as well (who pay much more), every dollar spent has to be run past the Glazers. They once wanted to hire some new cleaners, that decision took a few months because they had to wait for Glazer approval. Same story when they wanted to buy some new staff uniforms. I think the club is the opposite of efficient in all aspects and are starting to feel the impact of years of mismanagement.

    • @chimsuaumo
      @chimsuaumo วันที่ผ่านมา

      There is no story involving the Glazers and penny pinching that would surprise me. They've even made me feel sorry for Manchester United which I didn't think would ever happen. I grew up in the 90's and I remember them winning everything for so damn long.

    • @RodrigoJovino9
      @RodrigoJovino9 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      As a rival fan I would say, even for pinching pennies the Glazers could be described as bad onwers and incompetent. For what United spends both in wage bill and player market they get a ridiculous return post Fergie, and that obviously hurts their income return, even with how much of a merchandising powerhouse the club still is in spite of this banter decade. I'm all for It to continue being shite tho.

    I feel like the right thing to do is merge AFC and OFC, but the thing is, I just like the concept of 6 continental federations; 6 continental trophies, all continents qualifying for the WC. I don’t want it to be 5, and then 4 if South America and north become as one. Maybe to fix the issue, keep the OFC nations cup, but grant the winner direct qualification to the World Cup? I love the way everything is set up rn, how all 6 continents (but Antarctica) are federations and have governing bodies and teams, it will be weird for that all to disappear with the history when they merge. The Americas make sense to merge because they are one big continent. Idk if you get my rambling but the right thing is to merge them, but I just love the 6 continental system. If they merge, it would be sad to see it disappear. It also makes sense culturally cause the pacific nations are culturally close to the eastern Asian nations and islands, but it would just be a little weird to see OFC gone. Maybe a partnership, but a full merge I wouldn’t support, they should have a partnership, like OFC teams allowed to compete in Asian competitions like AFC Asian cup and the ACL Elite, but not a full merge where they are under 1 body. This would allow the WC qualifying to be separate but the continental competitions would be conjoined.

    The disparity between New Zealand and the rest is just too great, they have to join Asia which will allow them to play genuinely competitive international football through the whole 4 year cycle. They won't though, because the promise of a World Cup spot every 4 years (and accompanying $) is too much incentive to stay put in football purgatory. I think the best solution is to have New Zealand join Asia as a full member, then have the remaining Oceania teams as associate members of either Asia or South America. This would mean the winner of the Oceania Nations Cup would be granted a spot in the Asian Cup or Copa America, in addition to a World Cup spot. FIFA should also fully fund the OFC Pro League to enable the region to grow instead of funnelling millions into the pockets of its board members. The other solution would be to break up AFC, but I think that would be unattractive to powerbrokers who would see it as diluting their influence.

Whilst they have benefitted its been an own goal for FIFA and shouldnt have been allowed. Oceania should not include arabian teams, geographically on the other side of the world. All about money and has given those wealthy nations from there an easier path. A mess they created.

    New Zealand and Australia could become great places for the rest of Oceania to develop their footballing youths in. We already see it with both rugby union and rugby league, they are and should be athletic hubs for the entirety of the Pacific. Definitely the best example of a non-Australia youth being developed in Australia (although playing for them on the senior level later) has to be literal Tim Cahill, there's a lot of athletic talent in Oceania. I really want to see where the OFC heads into in the future and isn't just a guarantee spot for New Zealand to qualify for the World Cups
