I think it would make an interesting necktie with a cherub placed just so. Nice bag lining too. The Christmas dress is a brocade. A type of jacquard but they are easily mixed up.

HI, don't have a featherweight, but was lucky enough to score a Singer 301a. Not a light machine but such a workhorse. I also managed to find a White machine circa 1952, which I use most as it does have some of the zig zag stitches an alsso works like a dream. Have a Babylock that now sits all alone, unused.

What sizes does The Great Jones Jacket come in, please?

Please, please, please preserve vintage patterns! Use Pellon Easy Pattern! I buy it by the bolt so that I don’t have to cut my patterns, but I can’t cut the pattern to the exact size I need, so the Easy Pattern cutouts will last and the paper patterns are pristine and uncut to hand down to my kids and grandkids. Worth every penny!
