I love the dress with the fur! It looks great on you! Love all the looks. The black base gives you so many options!

When you take off the belt, the long vest works… belted, not so much (robe vibe)… you are adorable in all the looks 🤩

Fun to see the different outfit options. I love neutral bases with fun toppers, it's so easy yet effective.
I just finished two pairs of black pants because they are my go-to in winter, but I was having a hard time finding some that were comfortable yet put together. I made a Ponte pair, and a stretch corduroy pair. Before I hemmed them I tried them on with different shoes to get the hem just right. I appreciate your comment about hemming pants to be worn with flats vs heels!
I have a funnel neck vest very similar to yours and found a cheap crew neck at Walmart to go with it. It will do for now. Finding good quality knits is definitely a challenge.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Your black pants sound amazing-so versatile and comfy. And yes, hemming for different shoes makes such a difference. Great find with the crew neck; good quality knits can be tricky to come by!💜

Fun video! For the long gray vest, if it feels too much like a robe, maybe try pinning a brooch to a lapel. I think that would make it look more intentional, like a coat. Or maybe add a scarf somehow.

Great outfits Christine. The black base is very chic and I love the striped shirt & light jeans. I have a very similar shirt so can definitely replicate that look! Would love to make one of your Great Jones jackets when I'm feeling brave enough!! I have linton tweed in my stash waiting for me to pluck up courage!

I’d love to see your hand/take on Upcycling jeans by adding a gusset to the outside seams of straight leg jeans, thus creating wide leg jeans. Starting with Thrifted jeans of course. It’d be lots less than purchasing jeans at a retail store, and the pride of a “me made” staple.

Are there seams in the side of the bohemian jacket? If so, you could add pockets.

I've been eyeing the Caledonia cashmere turtlenecks - maybe a cream one would work for you?

Owen wasn't taking any chances, he either thought you were leaving or taking him for a walk, lol. I think the long duster look is on its last legs. It doesn't feel fresh or modern, just draggy and sad. I'm sure it will come back and many who will still wear one but it is past its prime. I think that tabard sweater looked great on you and would make a great pattern! Nice in a heavier linen for spring as well as sweater knits now. Are those enough hints for you, lol?♥️

Haha exactly! He wasn't letting me out of his site but was so confused...why is she getting dressed so many times and talking to a camara 🐶 But I appreciate your confirmation about the duster. It's going to take a year long rest ;-)
