So many great ideas! I love the $3.99/meter black background with flowers for a tablecloth... It will make you smile every time you look at it, which it would be more often than if you were to wear it.
Your fabrics are all very nice! Can't wait to see what you create. It's always something beautiful. The military jacket is a lot of work but so cool. Having him try on as you go would be crucial if I was sewing it. It still can be a birthday gift just not a surprise.
Shhhh….,Surprise 🎉 Double breasted vest in fall fabric ❤ and military coat “project” from toil, for perfection with all the fit and personalization 😎 I bet you will get double points for that ❤
I haven’t been feeling well at all the last few days but your channel always makes me so very happy! It may even cure my summer cold❤ I would be pleased watching daily 😊
I love the Kaffe fassett fabric! I'm sure all your makes will be beautiful, as always. And I can't wait for all the new patterns coming up! So exciting!
Exciting plans afoot! Definitely fit the military jacket as it's such an investment of your time and love. I need that hot pink lawn in my life ..... On the hunt as you have the last of it!!
Lovely fabrics and I am looking forward to seeing your new patterns. I have some Swiss dot (sometimes called dobby lawn) in exactly the same shade of pink. I am going to make the Maison Fauve Zenith blouse in it. I hadn't realised that those sheer shirts are a trend. However I saw someone wearing a cropped boxy voile blouse and I liked it so much I immediately bought some voile and that is what I am sewing up now.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! 😊 The Swiss dot fabric sounds like a perfect match for the Maison Fauve Zenith blouse-I'm sure it will turn out gorgeous in that shade of pink! It’s funny how trends can sometimes sneak up on us. Voile is such a beautiful, light fabric, and I’m sure your blouse will be stunning! Can't wait to hear how it turns out! 💜
Ooh Christine, I’m excited to see the jacket pattern that’s been floating in your head!!!! I’m always wanting to sew jackets! I love the fabric that you’ve set aside for it as well! I’ll be eagle eying your channel, as always!!!!!!
I love Frankie shop too! I like the more oversize stuff they carry. That sheer shirt idea is perfect for your new pattern from what I can see. When you held up the seagull print I immediately thought skirt and a pleated one is just perfect. Really liked it with the "dot" fabric which isnt a Swiss dot (dotted Swiss), it seems to be a jacquard. I cant tell if the bumps are fuzzy...if so they would be akin to a clipped dot fabric. Adore the Kaffe Fassett fabric, pronounced "Kay-f Facet". At least thats what the fabric distributer of his line taught us years ago. I think Id be tempted to make a duvet cover from it, just love looking at the print as a whole. Im certain you will figure out the perfect pattern for it ♥️
Thank you, Charlotte! 😊 I agree, Frankie Shop’s oversized pieces are so stylish. Glad you like the sheer shirt idea and the pleated skirt with the seagull print! You’re right, the fabric is a jacquard, not Swiss dot. And I love the idea of using Kaffe Fassett fabric for a duvet cover-it's such a beautiful print! I’m excited to find the perfect pattern for it. Thanks again for your thoughtful input! 💖
Great vlog as always I am sure your boyfriend will love his waistcoat. I would make the jacket along with him as you will need to fit it. Love your fabrics, I stumbled upon a sale in Norfolk in England when away for the weekend. £1 per metre for jersey rib and cotton poplin. You have so inspired me thank you ❤❤
I like that pink cotton. It's very old fashioned, reminds me of something from my childhood but can't remember exactly what. It would make a very cute frilly blouse with a flowing skirt from the print, kind of a boho style.
All of those fabrics look fabulous, especially that colorful one you are going to make a jacket out of. I LOVE that. But I'm curious what pattern you used to the pink button up on the mannequin. I just finished one of those and don't like the collar and that one is really beautiful.
Christine Your fabrics are beautiful! Can’t wait to see your makes. Love watching and learning from your channel. Thank you. 👏🏼
Thank you so much for tuning in 🌸
Beautiful fabrics Christine. I look forward to seeing your makes. ❤️🌺
Thank you so much, Lenore 🌸

I agree, Arlene! I think it's too big of a project to not fit as I go 🥰

Kaffe is cape, but with an f instead of a p. Long A 😊 And I love that Kaffe print too ♥️
Thank you! That's easy to remember 😀
I remember it as Kaffe sounds like safe.
They are all so beautiful! Can’t wait to see your designs🩷💚
Thank you so much! 🌸
I always love your fabric choices. Beautiful pieces.

Yes, me too. It definitely has that old fashioned style!
You have a Safe Asset in Kaffe Fassett
Oh now that I can remember - thank you!! 🌸
@@SewingandtheCity That helped me, too. I believe one of his colleagues or partner said it at an event. Before that I could never keep it in my head.

Thank you so much!! The pink shirt on the mannequin is a new pattern I've been working on....launching this week 🥰
