Your sewing is really exquisite, when you show close ups you can really see the care you have taken. I love the vest and the shirt especially, but those shorts are a showstopper in that fabric 🎉
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 I really appreciate the compliment! I'm so glad you love the vest, shirt, and especially the shorts! That fabric really made them stand out! 🎉 Thanks again for your support!
Terrific. A Couture teacher taught me that for sheer fabrics use the same fabric. It could require more than one layer. I did a mandarin collar that required 3 layers but looked lovely and was comfortable & maintained height/shape.
Thank you for sharing that tip! I love the idea of using the same fabric for sheer materials-it makes perfect sense for maintaining the look and structure. A mandarin collar with multiple layers sounds like such a beautiful and professional finish! I can imagine it adding a lovely depth while keeping everything comfortable. Appreciate your insight!
Love love love, you look lovely as always and everything you make is so elegant ❤️ I have such a hard time looking elegant (very well endowed unfortunately), I love your videos for inspiration 🤞
hi christine! i just stumbled upon your channel the other day, im learning how to sew for the first time so i can make my own costumes/cosplay. you are great, thanks for your help!!
Dear Christine, thank you for this video. I enjoy watching your videos so much and I always feel so inspired afterwards😃 I am very interested in the way you hemmed this beautiful Wooster jacket. Did you embroider it? It is absolutely gorgeous😍
Everything is gorgeous but that Wooster? That is sooooo my style! I love how you used the tablecloth to the best advantage. I love a vaguely kimono style jacket to throw on over everything from a tank top to a dress. Even over pj's when answering the door, lol. Big hug to Owen, he's looking very happy, must be the stolen socks. I had 1 dog that stole socks and would be very protective of his treasure.
Thank you so much! 😊 I’m so glad you love the Wooster! And yes, the tablecloth fabric turned out to be perfect for that design. I’m with you on the kimono-style jackets; they’re such a versatile piece! And haha, yes, Owen is very happy, especially with his sock treasures! He’s definitely protective of them-sounds like your dog was the same! 🐾
Thank you so much! 😊 I’m so glad you love everything! Lingerie can be such a fun and rewarding project to try-there are so many beautiful fabrics and patterns to experiment with! If you ever decide to give it a go, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the process. Thanks for your kind words! ❤
Love all the items! I tried to get the pattern but the website sends me to register over and over again?, I couldn't download the pattern, would love to have it and sew it, maybe even make a video about it on my channel 😁
