I am 69 years old. I live alone. I had a heart attack and a triple bypass. I have had one of my knees and one foot operated on. I have seizures. I am bi-polar. I am diabetic. My flat is very neat. I know that hoarding has many psychological roots, but I think that Paul it is, in part, just laziness. I am a recovering alcoholic. It was tough to give up alcohol, but I did it. I know that the hoarders can do the same.

When a quarter has a house full of trash I mean literally trash, They are lazy. They can see its trash, Especially this lady. She pulled out. The loaf of bread and Noticed it was moldy and then she put it back Where she got it from instead of throwing it in the trash. I call that a lazy slob.

we had a hoarder two doors up, you could tell by the outside of the home. He was found dead in his hoard in 2023, the house was sold, cleaned out, gutted and remodeled, looks great now!

I some what know how this woman feels, ive been through a similar situation, i also am an only child, i lost my "mum" to a cancer in 1997, and them my dad in 2014 leaving me with no relatives near me and few friends, ive tried very hard to put things in perspective and move on with my life, but to make it short life and situations are still a challenge for me.....

I can bet big money Jakes house fires are due to his cigarette addiction! Its so easy to have a butt catch fire of even lit ash falling on anything around him. I have no idea how the state allows him to still have pets or even live alone. Lord Jesus please help him 💔

I've been binging all the US and British hoarders shows for months. Allison's place is nothing like some of the other hoarders. She has a lot of stuff. But not a lot of garbage, rot, mold, mice and awful stuff like other hoarders. She is cute and her house is cute, so I hope she'll be OK.

Maybe he can become part of the flat earth society and not worry about the earth axis.

Even the British do hoarding better, where are the trashy people living in their own filth, screaming about not throwing away a can from 1999?

I helped clear a relatives house who was a hoarder. It was a 1200 sqft single story house with a basement. We removed literally 8 full 30 yard dumpsters, 90% of which was from the basement. We barely touched the main floor. We got one room like 80% emptied before we had to quit because the money for dumpsters ran out. The rest of the house is still packed from floor to ceiling with barely a path to walk through to the bathroom and the chair that the owner sleeps in.

I sooooo hope Judith sees these comments. We are so fond of her and I would love for her to know that she has a fan base across the pond. Judith - if you see this I would love to be a long distance pal. You are charming and special -- in the very best sense of that word. I hope you are doing well. I know it is not a "once and done" kind of problem but we support you and wish you nothing but the best.

I wouldn’t be surprised that this is what happens 99%of the time. The hoarders mental illness is resistant to change. Sandra doesn’t seem to want to help with the clean out. She is a likeable person but totally frustrating to work with.
