I've said this to you before and I'll say it again for the final time. Dewalt is NOT any better than Ridgid and Shop Vac. I've used the ones that were made by the same Chinese company who makes wet dry vacs for Dewalt, wasn't impressed. In fact, they currently make wet dry vacs for Harbor Freight called Bauer. So until they improve better on their quality and parts availability, I won't be buying or recommending one.
@panasonicvac4036 I hit my dewalt with a Kubota RTV diesel and it bent the bumper on the Kubota, didn't break anything else, it's also now lasted longer than the 4 ridgids I have that smell like electrical burning from factory. Also shop-vac hasn't made good anything since like 2005 lmao
My brother for example had a Portal Cabel which is technically made by the same company who makes wet dry vacs for Dewalt, that one didn't last for very long cause the motor went bad and it didn't get used a whole lot. The reason why Ridgid has burning smells is because the carbon brushes haven't broken in yet with the commutator which is completely normal. After a while, it should go away. But if that is still a problem to you, I know Shop Vac now sells machines that use brushless motors. No Dewalt currently has that offering. You can technically get a good Shop Vac if you know which ones to look for. Their industrial models have apparently really reliable and serviceable motors. But you can pretty much service any motor on a Shop Vac.
Never heard of this brand before? Is it new? Seems to be similar looking to the Bour brand
It's a machine sold by Harbor Freight that buys cheap stuff.
@@panasonicvac4036 ah
Have you tried any of the dewalt shop vacs, 400x better than ridgid and shop-vac
