You have a really sick setup in your garage. All I have is a dip bar, pullupbar and adjustable kettlebell 😂 but man weighted dips and pullups are all I need to pack on upper body muscle

Not the best. I just don't prescribe flat ground sprints because injury risk is much higher. Hill sprints are awesome though

Awesome video! Starting a 2 day 5/3/1 program from tommorow. Brown belt who trains 6x a week and competes often. Was running starting stength and my legs got jacked but found the lack of upper body work really not great for bjj. I’m following the 2 day version with extra arm work. Going with something like this: Day 1 - SSB Squat 5/3/1 Bench 5/3/1 DB Bench 3x10 DB Row 3x10 Biceps + Triceps 3x10-20 Day 2 - Deadlift 5/3/1 Press 5/3/1 DB Incline Press 3x10 Lat Pull-Down 3x10 Back Ext + Abs 3x10-20

@ we see similar outcomes in strength/hypertrophy when comparing supersets to traditional sets. There's also reciprocal inhibition which may enhance performance of subsequent exercise. Just don't superset same muscle groups

As an Osteopath with over 8+ years and education I vehemently disagree respectfully.. traditional training ignores fascial principles of movement. I release fascia as part of my profession and can feel and see the dehydration due to connective tissues and unhealthy mechanics. These systems although in their infancy stages not subjecting these systems to rigorous study they do follow the principles in how fascia best functions.. which is replicating out gait patterns. Anyways.. I will not get into it. Keep an open mind people and know that degrees only count for saying someone is paying attention to the subject.
These results from FP are no different than a good trainer or PT. There is nothing special. Not saying it's bad but their focus on saying everything else is terrible is the cult mentality

A question, if I may. I’ve been doing a lot of isometric exercises to increase my punching power, including some of the ones Dmitry did-such as asymmetrically rotationally pushing and pulling against the bar and pushing the bar in a bench press position. My routine involves performing isometrics for "reps," so to speak. I push against the bar with maximum intensity for 6 seconds, rest for 5-10 seconds (while holding the bar), and then repeat. I typically do 4 sets of 10 reps like this. The rest is usually 5-10 minutes between sets. I usually do some explosive squats and some abs work during that time. What I’ve noticed is that I’ve become considerably stronger-my bench press has skyrocketed to 400 pounds. However, because we only do light sparring, I can’t properly assess my progress in terms of punching power. My question is: am I risking a loss of speed by focusing so much on isometrics?
So key is to build strength with heavy compound lifts, calisthenics, weighted calisthenics, also rotational movement, then train, speed strength, max velocity and cardio. Is incorporating all of this in a condensed conjugate style good. I'm no fighter, just a martial arts practitioner. This is how Ive been doing it for a while, any good?

Hey man, I really appreciate the video but I really don't think I could do just 1% per month because that would be too slow for me. I am 16, 66kg at 178cm and I really want to get up to heavyweight in boxing (very likely to switch over to MMA). Do you think I could go any faster than 1%?

Great vid bro, besides what I train in mma, I train weightlifting on my own, I've been doing a upper lower (2 times a week) x full body 3x week, do you think that is suitable?
