I’ve already put 60 hours into CC since release. I love it so much. My one suggestion would be inventory management (sorting, auto stacking, etc..)

Noooo, not the fishing mini game :( Why don't people like them? A setting might have been a nice compromise. But seriously, you can't make it right for everyone, so great that you listened to the majority. I have the game on my wishlist and just didn't buy it yet because I'm busy with some other games. Will pick it up soon though, I loved the demo.

Fields of Mistria did it right pricing their game at $13. I dont know why so many devs think their game is worth more than Stardew (or now Mistria). It costs them 10x, 20x the amount of sales they could have had especially around release where its so important to get a lot of attention if your game is great (which critter cove is). Its like throwing money away by their greed.

It’s so good to hear the developer side of things. Quite often as players it’s easy to fall into a pattern of being harsh critics of games and having an attitude of ‘oh why doesn’t this game have diverse body types’ or ‘why doesn’t this game have multi-player’ - so it’s good to hear from developers on the complexities of some of these features. These podcasts definitely give me a new appreciation.

Critter Cove is such a great game. Possibly my fav of the year! Also, I love that your guests do all the segments of the podcast. It's so great to not only hear from devs, but also get to know them as gamers too.

I missed the premiere! I was awake but took a quick nap that went for too long! 😣 Anyway, I like the mean villagers in Critter Cove! I wish more games would do that! Not every character should be sunshine, butterflies, and rainbows! You should've worn a floral shirt too match with them hahaha! 😆 Still look amazing, though!

You did a great job for adapting to not having a co-host. It's already in the title, but it definitely feels like a "This week in cozy gaming news" kind of vibe that is similar in format to other gaming content I've watched and enjoyed. Heck, you've made plenty of videos like this already such as monthly cozy games updates so it's no wonder why you were able to pull off this episode so well. As for what should you do for the podcast, starting and making a podcast is difficult. I've watched/listened to so many podcasts over the years. You have to find your groove over time. Find what works for you and don't try to force a certain format if it just isn't working. It sounds like something you enjoy doing so I hope you can find a way to continue doing it. Maybe weekly is too much or maybe with you doing a podcast while also making your other videos that kind of overlap content-wise, it might be better if you find a way to combine them to lessen the workload. I don't envy your position as a content creator with the considerations towards metrics and algorithms and the stress involved. All I know is I've been enjoying the podcast and your other videos. Thank you for all that you create! I hope this podcast can go on, but I'd be more than understanding if it can't.

Hi Josh! I love catching up with your podcast every couple weeks! I usually don't have time to tune in weekly but appreciate all your hard work with the podcast and your main channel content. I was surprised to learn about your lack of work/life balance but understand since you live stream, make content, and play games as often as you do! I hope you will start to take more time for yourself and relax. I am sure we'll stil tune in whether you decide to change up the podcast schedule or change your hosting setup!

Thanks for another great episode! I love catching up on the podcast. I love a good demo. I personally cannot wait for Europa to come out next month after playing the Switch demo a couple months ago. I don't think there's a game that I have felt excited like this before release, but I typically don't play demos before their release as most of my games in the past were first-party. I fell in love with Wylde Flowers when I got into cozy gaming in June-July. I love the story and characters. Coming from someone who loves anime/animated shows with good voice casts, I love the fully-voiced acting in Wylde Flowers. Aside from Wylde Flowers, and maybe Disney Dreamlight Valley, I have tried other farming/life sim games and wish there were more games with voices and stronger story/characters.

Think the 2 new story of seasons games coming soon won't be announced i think until after the new switch will be shown

Hi Josh! About the pathea AI issue, I'm in their discord and they clarified the issue. The one who 'admitted' using AI was their PR person who doesn't even know their process and their artists came forward and said there was no AI, they showed their process and took a stance saying they are also against AI. Their studio is based in China and AI is more common and accepted there that's why their PR person probably thought they used it. He also apologized to the players and his own team for the mistake. Loving the podcast! Keep it up!

It's great when on podcasts and radio they answer listener questions or discuss comments from the community ❤ I'd be fine with less frequent releases, if the workload becomes too much. But please keep making the podcast because it's so much fun, I've been enjoying it immensely

Like I really dislike animal crossing. It frustrates me. You hear all these things about people visiting islands. But I only wanted to play with my veteran friend. But everytime she would tell me to do something I would have to kick her out do it and regroup... ugh.

I love this podcast, I love that even if you don't have a guest for the week, having comments is sort of like having us as a guest! That's fun. When StarTalk Radio with Neil DeGrass Tyson doesn't have guest they do that too, members of the podcast send in questions or topics to talk about.

I enjoyed this solo podcast, so if u struggle with a guest, then please feel free to do it solo, I think in the world of cosy games, farming sim, life sim games, there are SO much games out there, past, present, and future, so I think there are a lot of potentials for finding a topic to have a solo chat about, and just throwing in an idea, if u want to solo podcast and talk about a specific genre or specific game, and u want to see the comments about it, u can always write a post to ask for your viewers' opinion on the game u're going to talk about, so then in the podcast u can read out those comments and have a discussion about it. And I think 2 weeklys would be more healthier for u, since u are still a solo host, so as u said, it's not sustainable for u to continue this routine, so definitely change it up and find what works the best for u! Considering u also cover games, gameplays and other things on your other channel, and then doing this channel as well it is a lot of work, so u definitely need to spread them out a bit more and look after yourself, less risk of burn out as well. Take care Josh, and this is a great podcast, I enjoyed this episode, I walked on treadmill watching this and it definitely made the time flies :D
